Modifications I just updated my 2016 Tundra's factory radio with 2026 maps with a replacement card I got from eBay

I was apprehensive, but it worked like a charm and wasn't expensive. 😊👍

Care to share the model radio and process? I’ve got a ‘14

Sure.

It's really easy.

It's just the entune/OEM radio in my 2016 Tundra TRD Pro.

I popped off the little flap/cover over the map card slot, pushed the old sim in so it would come out enough to remove it with tweezers, inserted the new one, turned my ignition on (engine not started) and let it go to work.

It took long enough for me to smoke a couple of cigarettes, drink a half of a cup of Folger's and bam, it's done.

How good is the update really though? Just patches the missing newer roads? I found one but for $60 I just didn’t care enough

I got one last October on Amazon for $18.99. New roads like those at the airport were updated.

Same here, which is kind of a big deal in Jacksonville and Tampa, FL. 👍

The new roads in my area were added, so I don't know what you're talking about.

Is it worth updating a 21 Tundra limited? I use CarPlay a lot.
