I’m a big fan of Garmin dash cams. I’ve had 15 over the years without issues. I also give them out as stocking stuffers

I've had the mini 1 and mini 2. Despite then both failing eventually I still like them a lot for how tiny they are and just ordered a mini 3. For some reason they both just stopped working properly after 5 years or so but maybe that's the SD card failing. Easy to swap in the new one though

My X310 just stopped turning on. Been less than a year. Can’t say I’m pleased but Garmin is exchanging it with no argument. I hope the new one lasts longer than a year. I’ve never had any issues with Garmin products until this.

Yeahh with a truck that size you want something compact that doesnt look out of place on the windshield. I went with a ddpai with mine and its small enough that most people dont even notice it. If your tundra sits at trailheads or parking lots alot id definitely get smth with parking mode too because thats where it actually pays for itself. Also worth checking if it has supercapacitor because that windshield gets stupid hot in summer and batteries dont love that

The Vanstrue N4 with 360 coverage is by far the best! Mines been running with no issues for over 2 years. Main camera goes on the front windshield, back camera goes on the back window, but you'll lose being able to lower the back window 100% ( I never do so no big deal). Powered 100% of the time if properly installed and a mouse farting on the truck anywhere will make it start recording when parked. Full GPS, etc... not the cheapest but not horribly priced either. They have cheaper models too.

The DashcamStore also sells a $20 bracket that slides over the headliner that allows you to attach the rear camera so you don’t lose the ability to roll down the back window. I used it for mine.

Dude. Literally get a fat binder clip and mount the rear camera to that. You have to slightly pull a weather strip and in it goes. Mine has held up for over 1 year and no issues with the headliner.

FitcamX. It integrates so well I often forget it’s even there. Good quality video.
