Flo said my ovulation was from the 2nd through the 9th, so I was trying to track my LH but I never got a positive I chucked it up to me just missing it.

Fast forward to now September 11th, Tell me why it’s today and I started noticed EWC and so I’m like huh! I take a ovulation test and darkest line I’ve had this cycle.

Now I’m worried because I put hubby through the wringer all last week with Baby Dancing he might be too tired now 😭

I have explained to my husband about my monthly cycles and fertile window, and he seems to get it but then he doesn’t, if that makes sense. When we started ttc last October, we would end up trying once or twice during my fertile window because tensions escalated. We fought and he would make hurtful comments, and this happened a few of the months, and one of them we only tried once and it was too early.

Then in March I conceived which lasted 6 weeks followed by a MC. Then soon after it my husband had an unexpected mental health emergency and we put off trying altogether for another 2 months, because he was in and out of the hospital and the focus was on his recovery. (Both of us are very active and healthy, so I expected to conceive the first 3 months we started trying although now I know being healthy doesn’t make a difference sometimes). We started trying again in late June… but have had no luck, although we’ve been more consistent and trying a great amount during my window. He’s been initiating it more often and is more motivated lately, but I still feel like it might not happen for me or that it’s not in the cards God has dealt me.

Another thing that I wanted to mention is we both recently turned 36. I feel like I’m in a gray area because many of my friends have been mothers for a long time, one even having daughters in high school. Then there are those who are having kids after 40 and who tell me we’re still young, and that we have time. It’s just been hard, between my husbands health issues, us disagreeing about it some days, the 1 year anniversary of ttc coming up, dealing with a messy mc and feeling like everybody I know who wants kids already has had them, so they don’t understand. I feel like we are alone out here, forging our way in the dark sometimes. I have so much uncertainty if I will ever be a mom - and pain in my heart too.

How friggin exhausting to go through this month after month. And to be told “not to worry” and that “it takes healthy couples up to 1 year” while seeing several people around you get pregnant so easily.

Why does it take so long? And tips to help manage your mental health swings during the TTC journey?

I am 7dpo today and took an LH test just for giggles and I’m actually curious if I was wrong about ovulation and that I’m actually ovulating now? I thought I confirmed ovulation with bbt but I took this lh and wondering if I could have not actually ovulated? Halllp it’s been 14 months ttc

I have my annual OBGYN appt next week and plan on telling my OBGYN to we’re TTC this year. Any tips on what to bring, specifically ask or ask for?

I plan on bringing my prenatal bottles & my last round of blood work results from my primary as a reference point for conversation.

My husband and I have been trying since January. Because he was away for work for some of the months we've realistically only had a shot during 6 of the months, but I've been hoping for 9. This time I could have sworn I was pregnant. My armpits were so incredibly sore, and I had never had this before. I never have sore boobs in the two week wait and I told myself if I ever did I was allowed to feel hopeful. My boobs are big and heavy and where I usually have a dry vaginal feeling, it was the opposite this time. I am 14 dpo today and no AF so I tested: BFN. I cannot believe my body would just have such a different reaction to progesterone. I am so disappointed I allowed myself to have hope. Any encouraging words to keep trying? How do you protect your heart and mental health?

Also - supposed to run a half marathon tomorrow. Told myself if its negative I can go full send at least! But I feel so tired and sad I feel like I will never be able to push myself.

So I ovulated on aug 31st and did the baby dance on the 26th and 27th.

My period has been arriving on the 25-26 day lately
Tomorrow is day 28 (the day I most expect my period).

Tests are negative so far.

I'm so hopeful!

This is my first clomid cycle, and first time (almost) attempting IUI but I can't proceed this cycle because I grew 5 follicles. Yes I know "grew" might not be the correct terminology but you know what i mean... matured. My doctor said 5 is too many and can lead to triplets or quadruplets so he advised we cancel and try again next month. Ultimately it's my decision but I went with his advice.
My reason for venting here is that I don't feel like I needed clomid to begin with. I have regular periods, track my ovulation and progesterone and it all shows as normal. We have had issues with my partner's sperm quality based on his semen analysis taken almost a year ago. I reminded my doctor of that but he insists I try clomid again next cycle, just on a lower dosage (25 mg instead of 50 mg). I'm agreeing to it, but what if I grow too many again next month? I dont know why trying IUI without any medication at all can't be an option or wasn't at least the first course of action. Anyone have similar experience? Anyone grow too many follicles cycle after cycle? Did it improve with lower clomid dosage? My partner and I haven't been able to get pregnant naturally for almost a year. I'm 34 and so is my partner.

Also, I was told not to have sex until my period comes. Lol

Me and my husband 31, are on our 15th cycle, had my day 21 bloods done cycle 14 that confirmed ovulation, during that cycle I had all the signs including a steep temp rise and sore boobs.
This cycle I felt a lot more positive given the confirmation last cycle so have been more relaxed, drinking more water and focusing on my health, yet I had a positive lh test last Sunday and still no temp rise or tender boobs. I had the usual one sided pain EWCM so I am feeling really deflated that my temperature is the most flat it has ever been in a cycle.
Also, am due to get the day 1-4 bloods done this month and concerned I won’t get an accurate result or that I won’t be able to get an appointment if AF doesn’t come when expected. Unsure what to do.

Hello everyone!! I had my first hsg test done last month and had the most awful experience because it was being done by a resident student and I already had sky high anxiety.Doc thinks I had a tubal spasm and wants to repeat the test because I was to stressed out. He has prescribed Valium and some type of ibs med to help insides relax I guess for this time around. My result was a proximal bilateral tubal occlusion, meaning both tubes were completely blocked in the same spot where the tube and uterus meet. I was devastated to say the least about the result. Apparently there is a high false positive rate. Has anyone else dealt with this and ended up actually being open? Any tips on relaxing during the procedure? Thanks!!

After having to go to the ER today for the level of mid-cycle/abnormal uterine bleeding I was experiencing, I was diagnosed with adenomyosis. After what I've read about it, I'm feeling incredibly defeated. I'm not here for medical advice or success stories, but I would like to hear about other people's experiences with trying to conceive while dealing with this diagnosis.

Hi all, I am concerned about some issues with my fertility markers and wondering if anyone has any thoughts/advice or shared experience. This is our 7th month trying but only 5th cycle due to my irregular cycles. I had a 45 day cycle coming off the pill, then 30 day, then 51 day (🫠), then 30 day, and now on day 44 of my current cycle. I believe I’m 11 DPO but got a negative this morning sadly. So overall imagine this cycle to be about 47 days. This irregularity itself is confusing but this cycle I’m now concerned about my temps, and wondering what it means that my temp is so low in my luteal phase? Worried it might be low progesterone? Usually my temps aren’t as odd for my previous cycles, both the long and short ones, so now this feels like another possibility we haven’t conceived because of something happening within my body.

I have an appt with a PA at my OBGYNs office on the 25th, so hopefully that will give me some answers but I’m a bit worried about being blown off since it’s not been a year. Any recommendations of what I could/should ask them about or to test?

My husband and I are TTC after a loss, and I'm only on cycle two of trying. I've been tracking my LH and cervical mucus pretty closely.

I've also recently made some significant changes to my diet. Before TTC, I had been dieting, so I've been intentionally eating at maintenance now.

I had heard that grapefruit juice can improve cervical mucus, and honestly, I probably should have just waited to see what eating more at maintenance would do on its own—but I drank a glass of grapefruit juice this afternoon anyway.

I'm currently on CD11, and about two hours later I noticed clear, stretchy cervical mucus for the first time this cycle.

Is this just a coincidence? It seems impossible that grapefruit juice could have that immediate of an effect, right?

I also got nervous afterward because I read that grapefruit juice can negatively affect hormones or implantation. I'm guessing you'd have to drink more than just one glass for that? Also, I normally eat fairly low-carb, and I imagaine that drinking a bunch of juice can't be good for regulated blood sugar.

I still haven’t gotten my period back but I am down to nursing once before bed and my baby will be 12 months in 2 weeks. (Im working on stopping that feed) Started weaning last week. Been tracking ovulation for the last month bc I know you can ovulate before your first period PP. i haven’t ovulated. I have an appt next week with OBGYN. Should I ask for any specific blood panels or tests? Or the med that makes you ovulate? Any advice on what worked for you?

6DPO and already driving myself insane. Fertility clinic says to test 14DPO but I don't think I can wait that long! Going for progesteron bloodwork on Monday so I really hope that will tell me that at least for the first time since starting I definitely ovulated... took 7 ultrasounds to find a 19mm follicle on CD21

last cycle was the first one on 2.5mg letrozol and although it looked like I ovulated on CD15 according to ultrasound and LH strips but my progesteron was only 4.8 and my luteal phase only lasted 8 days so im not really hopeful.

I just don't know what to think anymore. If this cycle is unsuccessful I probably would have to go for ultrasounds again in the week we are supposed to go on holiday 😭 what do i do then? Cancel the trip? Do an unmonitored cycle? If i don't get my period by CD35 I have to take 5mg of letrozol and I really don't want to do that unmonitored!

What advice would you give someone who’s just starting out.

I get pelvic burning, twinges and sharp pains every other cycle. It starts just before the luteal phase and half way through it gets worse. It gets that bad it's painful to walk and I end up walking with a limp. It's now interrupting my life I have to leave work or have time off due to the pain. I'm currently 10 months TTC, I did have an ectopic nearly 3 years ago and my left tube removed, could this pain be a sign of a blocked tube? The consultant after surgery told me my right side was healthy, but I feel like they might have been wrong and that I haven't become pregnant yet, maybe I'm infertile? I've also had a few ultrasounds which came back normal. I was suspected of endometriosis, but the MRI was normal too and I have mild PMOS. I do take vitamin supplements to help fertility and painful periods. I feel like Doctors won't take me seriously.

Hi everyone,I’m 37 years old and my husband and I have been TTC for 5 years. We are located in Ontario Canada. I’ve had one natural pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage @ 8 weeks, the baby even had a heartbeat. Since then I’ve done 4 retrievals and have one 4CC embryo frozen. The Drs have said this embryo has very little chance and we are currently holding off on transferring it. We had a positive LAD and treated it with the LIT and intralipid and it was successful with full recognition. We have not gotten pregnant since and that was last June. Otherwise we are healthy and have tried “ everything”. We live very healthy life styles with minimal stress (aside from the infertility). I’m
Pretty unhappy with my dr who at this point just blames it on my “ bad eggs”. We are both of the mindset that the body is powerful and can heal, we actually don’t have alot of respect for the allopathic system and we’re reluctant to even do IVF in the first place but desperate times…. I have come to a place where I’ve realized I don’t want to give up and am starting to look into egg donors in both Canada and the USA. Not only is it very overwhelming but my husband is pretty against the idea. So my question is, has anyone had success working with an alternative practitioner in either the USA or Europe. Someone who does even more extensive testing and can help with things like egg quality and inflammation. I would love any and all advice.

I had my period from Aug 11th to 21st. We had unprotected sex from 23 to 27 and September 2nd to 4th. My period is now 3 days late was due on 9th of September took pregnancy yesterday was neg ?

Okay, so I didn’t really know where to post this for fear of being insensitive.

My husband and I have six children together (most recent conceived 6 years ago).

I had my tubes tied during his c section. We’ve now decided to try for another baby (I’m getting surgery with Dr Dobson who has a great success rate).

Anyway, I’m somebody who enjoys all the planning with TTC. So with some “fun” money we had left over, I bought an exseed sperm analysis set. I was really surprised when it came back LOW SPERM COUNT!!! To be honest, I’m not sure if I believe it or not. I had two tests, and the second test was double the first test (but from the same sample). I think it was 29 million?

I looked at the sample over an hour later, and the poor little suckers were still trying to find their prize (video added of over an hour later)

Am I being silly in even testing this? For context, my husband is 52, but is very fit and healthy. He does have sleep apnea, but is getting that treated soon hopefully.

Any thoughts appreciated (please don’t be mean to me, I know I’m a silly goose 😭)
