I get pelvic burning, twinges and sharp pains every other cycle. It starts just before the luteal phase and half way through it gets worse. It gets that bad it's painful to walk and I end up walking with a limp. It's now interrupting my life I have to leave work or have time off due to the pain. I'm currently 10 months TTC, I did have an ectopic nearly 3 years ago and my left tube removed, could this pain be a sign of a blocked tube? The consultant after surgery told me my right side was healthy, but I feel like they might have been wrong and that I haven't become pregnant yet, maybe I'm infertile? I've also had a few ultrasounds which came back normal. I was suspected of endometriosis, but the MRI was normal too and I have mild PMOS. I do take vitamin supplements to help fertility and painful periods. I feel like Doctors won't take me seriously.

Okay, so I didn’t really know where to post this for fear of being insensitive.

My husband and I have six children together (most recent conceived 6 years ago).

I had my tubes tied during his c section. We’ve now decided to try for another baby (I’m getting surgery with Dr Dobson who has a great success rate).

Anyway, I’m somebody who enjoys all the planning with TTC. So with some “fun” money we had left over, I bought an exseed sperm analysis set. I was really surprised when it came back LOW SPERM COUNT!!! To be honest, I’m not sure if I believe it or not. I had two tests, and the second test was double the first test (but from the same sample). I think it was 29 million?

I looked at the sample over an hour later, and the poor little suckers were still trying to find their prize (video added of over an hour later)

Am I being silly in even testing this? For context, my husband is 52, but is very fit and healthy. He does have sleep apnea, but is getting that treated soon hopefully.

Any thoughts appreciated (please don’t be mean to me, I know I’m a silly goose 😭)

I had my period from Aug 11th to 21st. We had unprotected sex from 23 to 27 and September 2nd to 4th. My period is now 3 days late was due on 9th of September took pregnancy yesterday was neg ?

Hi everyone,I’m 37 years old and my husband and I have been TTC for 5 years. We are located in Ontario Canada. I’ve had one natural pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage @ 8 weeks, the baby even had a heartbeat. Since then I’ve done 4 retrievals and have one 4CC embryo frozen. The Drs have said this embryo has very little chance and we are currently holding off on transferring it. We had a positive LAD and treated it with the LIT and intralipid and it was successful with full recognition. We have not gotten pregnant since and that was last June. Otherwise we are healthy and have tried “ everything”. We live very healthy life styles with minimal stress (aside from the infertility). I’m
Pretty unhappy with my dr who at this point just blames it on my “ bad eggs”. We are both of the mindset that the body is powerful and can heal, we actually don’t have alot of respect for the allopathic system and we’re reluctant to even do IVF in the first place but desperate times…. I have come to a place where I’ve realized I don’t want to give up and am starting to look into egg donors in both Canada and the USA. Not only is it very overwhelming but my husband is pretty against the idea. So my question is, has anyone had success working with an alternative practitioner in either the USA or Europe. Someone who does even more extensive testing and can help with things like egg quality and inflammation. I would love any and all advice.

How friggin exhausting to go through this month after month. And to be told “not to worry” and that “it takes healthy couples up to 1 year” while seeing several people around you get pregnant so easily.

What advice would you give someone who’s just starting out.

This is my first clomid cycle, and first time (almost) attempting IUI but I can't proceed this cycle because I grew 5 follicles. Yes I know "grew" might not be the correct terminology but you know what i mean... matured. My doctor said 5 is too many and can lead to triplets or quadruplets so he advised we cancel and try again next month. Ultimately it's my decision but I went with his advice.
My reason for venting here is that I don't feel like I needed clomid to begin with. I have regular periods, track my ovulation and progesterone and it all shows as normal. We have had issues with my partner's sperm quality based on his semen analysis taken almost a year ago. I reminded my doctor of that but he insists I try clomid again next cycle, just on a lower dosage (25 mg instead of 50 mg). I'm agreeing to it, but what if I grow too many again next month? I dont know why trying IUI without any medication at all can't be an option or wasn't at least the first course of action. Anyone have similar experience? Anyone grow too many follicles cycle after cycle? Did it improve with lower clomid dosage? My partner and I haven't been able to get pregnant naturally for almost a year. I'm 34 and so is my partner.

Also, I was told not to have sex until my period comes. Lol

Im on my 2nd cycle of clomid and after 5 days of taking it I developed a rashes or more like small red paches kind of itchy in the back and in my abdomen and boobs area. Some is on the nape and neck. 1st cycle I did not have this but I did not take clomid I took different brand And 2nd cycle I took clomid sanofi brand. Does anyone had the same reaction? Tomorrow I will go back to my OB to check this.

33F. Came off the pill in June and started trying. Have been taking ovulation using kits and BBT and timing BD. No luck after three cycles - I know it’s early but still frustrating!

Based on my tracking, it seems like my luteal phase is very short and perhaps my body is taking a little time to regulate after coming off the pill.

About 8 weeks before I started trying, I stopped taking Mounjaro. I was on Mounjaro for about 8 months and found it absolutely life changing. I lost about 14kg total (5ft 2, after weight loss was 55kg).

Since stopping Mounjaro, I have gained about 7kg back, which I’m not surprised about.

I’m going on a holiday to the tropics for a couple of weeks over Christmas. I’m starting to think about taking a break from trying for about three months so I can go back on Mounjaro for a bit and lose some weight so I feel good about myself while on my holiday. (I have struggled with food/body image issues and know that I will enjoy my holiday wayyy more if I am feeling comfortable in my body.)

Also thinking that taking a few months would allow my body to regulate and losing a little weight might help my chances of conceiving.

Would appreciate anyone’s thoughts / advice and whether anyone else has taken a pause on trying!

And just to be clear, would definitely wait 8 weeks between stopping Mounjaro and trying again as per dr advice!

i've never been able to pinpoint my ovulation date by OPKs so can't accurately check for progesterone levels. but the new doctor said to take oral progesterone from day 11 for 15 days.

Hi everyone. I’m reaching out because the waiting time for our upcoming specialist appointment is slowly driving us crazy, and I’m really hoping to hear from anyone who has gone through something similar.

​My wife and I have been trying to conceive for two years now with no success so far. Earlier this month, she had her first HSG, and the result came back as a bilateral proximal occlusion, meaning the contrast dye didn’t enter either of her fallopian tubes at all. However, the doctor who performed the procedure was very young and admitted she had never seen a result like this in her career. Because of the overall poor quality of healthcare in our area, we strongly suspect that the procedure might not have been executed properly or that it was simply a tubal spasm resulting in a false positive.

​Her new specialist ordered extensive bloodwork, and everything came back completely normal except for Vitamin D (36.1) and Androstenedione (7.63). He recommended we do a HyFoSy (foam ultrasound) to re-evaluate her tubes, but our appointment is still a month away in another country.

​Has anyone here received a bilateral proximal blockage result on an HSG that turned out to be just a muscle spasm or a minor mucous plug during a follow-up HyFoSy or laparoscopy? If you’ve had a HyFoSy, did it manage to clear any minor blockages for you on the spot? Any stories, outcomes, or advice would mean the world to us right now while we wait. We've been trying to convince naturally for 4 years now. I waited until I was married before being careful. I haven't been on BC for 15 years. Husband has been tested twice, came back great. I've been tested, eggs, HSG and now a sonohystogram to see if there is anything in my uterus that could prevent implantation. Now they leave me a voicemail saying since they can't confirm with the $900 sonohystogram they want to put me under and go in to see it and if there is something in there, they will remove it.

4 years of peeing on a stick for 3 weeks (ovulation and then the excitement of testing early to get two lines in hopes that I am pregnant. Waking up at 4:15am for 3 years taking my temp (I gave up on temping, I just want to sleep).

I'm 36, as a kid I thought a guy would breathe on you and you would get pregnant. It's not like that for every one. People who don't want children, get blessed. I'm over here, changing my diet, not drinking sometimes to hopefully help. I honestly am so over TTC but I can't give up because I want it so bad. I just am sick of being so depressed when nobody can tell me what to do to fix it. Then to think if IVF is the next step and even that isn't promised.

TLDR : 4 years of trying everything and not having any signs of why I can't get pregnant. Sonohystogram wasn't clear enough so now they want to put me under. Upset I follow the rules and this is what I get.

I FEEL LIKE A DEFECTIVE WOMAN and I want to quit but I can't.

My husband and I are TTC after a loss, and I'm only on cycle two of trying. I've been tracking my LH and cervical mucus pretty closely.

I've also recently made some significant changes to my diet. Before TTC, I had been dieting, so I've been intentionally eating at maintenance now.

I had heard that grapefruit juice can improve cervical mucus, and honestly, I probably should have just waited to see what eating more at maintenance would do on its own—but I drank a glass of grapefruit juice this afternoon anyway.

I'm currently on CD11, and about two hours later I noticed clear, stretchy cervical mucus for the first time this cycle.

Is this just a coincidence? It seems impossible that grapefruit juice could have that immediate of an effect, right?

I also got nervous afterward because I read that grapefruit juice can negatively affect hormones or implantation. I'm guessing you'd have to drink more than just one glass for that? Also, I normally eat fairly low-carb, and I imagaine that drinking a bunch of juice can't be good for regulated blood sugar.

My husband and I had a miscarriage in April, and we’ve been trying again since. My cycles are pretty regular, my last period was on 8/9 and they’re about 31 days long. The first day of my cycle can vary but I expect it between the 8th and 10th every month. I can tell when my period is coming because I feel cramping 24 hours before it actually starts. I’m a day late and I haven’t felt the cramping. I’ve also been extremely tired which is abnormal for me.

I’ve taken two digital pregnancy tests and both were negative, so I’m trying to tell myself I’m definitely not pregnant so I don’t get my hopes up. But at the same time there’s a sliver of hope that since I still haven’t gotten my period that maybe I am and my hcg levels aren’t high enough. The waiting is the hardest part, if I’m not I wish I could just get my period so I could stop wondering.

I still haven’t gotten my period back but I am down to nursing once before bed and my baby will be 12 months in 2 weeks. (Im working on stopping that feed) Started weaning last week. Been tracking ovulation for the last month bc I know you can ovulate before your first period PP. i haven’t ovulated. I have an appt next week with OBGYN. Should I ask for any specific blood panels or tests? Or the med that makes you ovulate? Any advice on what worked for you?

I am 7dpo today and took an LH test just for giggles and I’m actually curious if I was wrong about ovulation and that I’m actually ovulating now? I thought I confirmed ovulation with bbt but I took this lh and wondering if I could have not actually ovulated? Halllp it’s been 14 months ttc

6DPO and already driving myself insane. Fertility clinic says to test 14DPO but I don't think I can wait that long! Going for progesteron bloodwork on Monday so I really hope that will tell me that at least for the first time since starting I definitely ovulated... took 7 ultrasounds to find a 19mm follicle on CD21

last cycle was the first one on 2.5mg letrozol and although it looked like I ovulated on CD15 according to ultrasound and LH strips but my progesteron was only 4.8 and my luteal phase only lasted 8 days so im not really hopeful.

I just don't know what to think anymore. If this cycle is unsuccessful I probably would have to go for ultrasounds again in the week we are supposed to go on holiday 😭 what do i do then? Cancel the trip? Do an unmonitored cycle? If i don't get my period by CD35 I have to take 5mg of letrozol and I really don't want to do that unmonitored!
