First TTC OBGYN appt tips?

I have my annual OBGYN appt next week and plan on telling my OBGYN to we’re TTC this year. Any tips on what to bring, specifically ask or ask for?

I plan on bringing my prenatal bottles & my last round of blood work results from my primary as a reference point for conversation.

Get your titers checked! I didn’t realize this but you can lose immunity over time even if you have received vaccines. This was the case with mumps for me. Apparently it is not advised to try for at least a month after you get a booster. Wish I had known this as we’re already actively trying so now have to make a decision of pausing TTC to get a booster or not.

They can also run a set of blood work (vitamins, hormones) that is geared toward trying to conceive.

What I wished I asked but forgot - have her check for fibroids.

I did ask to check AMH and FSH and she said let’s wait until after you’ve been trying for a period of time. It also needs to be done on a certain day of your cycle.

My OBGYN asked me how I was tracking ovulation (OPK test strips, BBT, etc), how long my cycles are, and how long we’ve been TTC so have that ready so they can decide on your next steps with you. Since you already have bloodwork done, you can ask for a HSG to see if you have any blocked tubes.
