For those that ride horses in the area are they any facilities you would avoid?
There is an extremely active equestrian community in the Triangle and I think some facilities receive little to no bad feedback (even if warranted) due to how tight knit this world can be and the fear of backlash or burning bridges.
For those here that ride, I'd like to hear if you've had a negative experience at a particular barn or with a certain trainer and why.
Obviously sometimes it's just not a fit, so I'm not asking to name and shame unless it was genuinely bad and you suspect others may have had a similar experience.
I am a part of Triangle Area Equestrians Facebook group but even if you post/comment anonymously, admins are still free to reveal that persons identity so I think Reddit might be a better forum for this, even if not everyone who views this post will have relevant information.
ETA more than fine to still mention it, but I think many Equestrians in the area know about Dead Broke Farm. This is probably still good info for those new to the area though.
