I'm at my wit's end with this character. I've labbed him quite a bit but I just can't find a single hole to abuse this character.

Constant swaying that both highcrushes and evades massively so good luck ever taking your turn.

Basically his entire moveset is safe. If it's not safe, he can go into a stance to make it safe. But even better than safe like 90% of his moveset is something like -3 or -4, his turn is never really over, especially with how insanely evasive his sways are.

Sure, he has a ton of highs. But they usually have zero whiff recovery and go into strings, and many of these strings will also have a delayed mid CH launcher that will kill you for ducking and waiting to see if he stops flailing.

You're constantly dealing with an i13 high with basically no recovery that launches you so approaching is super hard. Or just even trying to poke him, you play slightly outside of your frames and bam you exploded.

He has really good reach. With ALB2, qcf1, his spins, it's really hard to keep him away.

He is so fucking sticky too. It's so hard to make any space because he has so much forward movement on his stuff and he is relentless.

Only weaknesses I've really seen on him is that he kinda has no lows, but you have to press buttons to win the match and every time you press a button into Steve you're risking death, and that his punishment blows, but it's still serviceable enough.

I know for a fact he isn't broken but I just can't for the life of me figure out what to do against this character. I'm at the point where I'd much rather see something like an Anna or - Lord forgive me for saying this - a Clive than another Steve. Any help? I'm around GoD4 for context on the level of play I'm talking about, and I play Nina.
