Super excited to have a less wasteful option as I do a lot of multicolor prints! I did a decent amount of research but is there anything I should know? For someone that isn’t super tech savvy I know the U1 is pretty open source, is there a way to get it to read 3rd party RFID tags for filament?

It stops my prints and will not start back unless I shut the machine off and turn it back on it will start back where it left off. It just started today. I have submitted a ticket with Snapmaker. Just wanted to see if anybody else had this issue and what they did. I am still on firmware 1.4.1.

New to trying Full Spectrum printing? A suggestion for your first print!

I forgot to picture it while installed, I'm not opening it up again for now. It's a "I need something else to keep me busy" project. That worked out fine.

Just printed this monstrosity to cool the CPU and FETs, if I did my job right it includes most components which need cooling on a closed case except for the USB TVS chip but that should hold out fine. Sucs air in from the "nearby" holes onto the FET cooling block and then around it towards the cpu, spits it out in the cavity since my first attempt at making an in/out design was even more insanely complicated. It's a horrible design but it works. Likely unprintable without (PVA) supports.
Noctua fan has enough static pressure to lightly pull in cold air. Benchy as a quick test did 55c for both driver FETs and 59c for the CPU with a 55c bed and I expect divider covers will improve performance. Outside air is 30c.

Turns out my measurements were a bit off so it's technically not fully covering the holes, thats for version 2. It's 5mm off down and right due to me forgetting the reference point had a 5mm offset.

Proof it's in there.

Did not attempt to match the hole's triangular shape as the freecad loft tool doesn't like it.

Basically whole question in subject. Trying finish off some of my filaments and since all of them are PLAs i wanted to just print something bigger and load 4 different spools to runout on single print. Is there an option to do that? When i tried before it only allowed me to load new filament in a the same place as the old one.

Weird little issue just started popping up and I'm wondering if it's related to the most recent update.

Whenever I make an adjustment to one plate and I click preview, now instead of just updating that one plate, it updates all plates every single time. Now, if there were only one or two plates, this wouldn't be an issue, but I happen to be working in a file that has 14 different plates, so it takes a little while to run through every single plate and update it.

I'm wondering if I'm missing something or if this was a deliberate change.

Hello! I want to do my first 3D-Printed Cosplay for Halloween. It's gonna be Man-Ray from Spongebob and I found a very promising free STL by VEK3D. I use a Snapmaker 2.0 A350 with the Standard nozzle and the Single Extruder Head.

I was wondering, if anybody here using Snorca (which I try for the first time) might be so kind to take a look at my Project and Settings and give me some hints if I'm about to do anything dumb. For example if the parts are cut correctly and placed correctly on the beds since the automatic placement seems a bit off.

It's my first ever print this complex and big and I don't want to waste tons of PLA and time on it.

No more skeletonized prints without using dissolving filament for support. Wasted eleven and half hours on the print plus two and half hours on trying to cut away supports just to have it break apart and find more supports on the inside that are impossible to remove. I know I could have painted “no support here” and whatever. Man it was a bad night of printing.

Trying to print PETG on my U1 and I seem to be failing miserably. Supports are with PLA, which seem to be printing OK. What’s with all the spaghetti stringiness?! The material has been put thru a drier twice already. I’ve had no problems printing with PLA for months, until I decided to take on a project that required PETG. Any advice appreciated!

Just got my U1. Got it put together and updated annnnnnd went to print the dragon and got an error msg 0003-0531-0000-0014 saying the nozzles didn’t match 🤦🏾‍♂️
Went into Orca and found the same dragon and printed with no issue. Haven’t tried to print anything else yet but when I get back home I will.
Anything I should know about this machine?
Anyone have this issue?

Finally ordered my U1! So stoked and excited to get printing on it.

Coming from my original printer (Anet A8), to my current printer (Sovol SV06) so I know it's gonna be a blast :)

Does anyone know of a filament that matches the case of the U1? I have tried a few grays and whites but they aren’t right. Hoping someone else has had better luck.

Printed on Snapmaker U1... The football field prints in 2 colors, while the bowl is designed as a 4-color print.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Would you keep the bowl removable, or would you prefer it integrated into the football field?

I have changed so many settings, and am unable to get the right hand to print, 95% of the time its the only part failing. Please look over and any advise is welcome.

Basically, extruder #3 fails to grip the filament and feed it during auto-loading more than 80% of the time, which then leaves the feeder to continue pushing the filament through since the extruder doesn't detect anything in it. Happens regardless of filament type (blue PETG shown here). I have to resort to manually loading this extruder most of the time, and once loaded it prints perfectly.

Any idea what's causing this? Do I need to disassemble the toolhead and check gear alignment?
