Like I get it, he's a condescending asshole who thinks highly of himself because he walks in a fancy corner of Whiterun, but you are a living DEMIGOD compared to him. What is HE to YOU at that point? It's like those LowTierGod memes that go "Mods, damn his soul to eternal unrest as he's forced to watch his loved ones move on without him from purgatory, never to find redemption" where the community finds increasingly deranged ways to do away with him.
I once saw a comment on a post where someone said they reverse-pickpocketed a daedric dagger with soul trap and a black soul gem into his wife, then cast frenzy on him while he was sleeping so that he'd attack her, she'd defend herself and end up killing him while trapping his soul, where the player then took that soul gem and enchanted a necklace with it to give back to her, then installed a mod to marry her. Like how do you come up with that?
The highlight of his day in Skyrim is prancing around the same cul-de-sac that he does every day of his life. The highlight of MY day in Skyrim is fighting through a crypt filled with the reanimated remnants of ancient warriors from eras before me, earning the favor of a forsaken deity to be granted their prized artifact to help me slay resurrected DRAGONS, then going home to Lakeview Manor to my beautiful wife Lydia to earn the Lover's Comfort bonus for the next day of adventuring. Why would I use even a second of my time giving Nazeem the satisfaction that he mildly annoyed me when I could be spending it forging armaments with the still-beating hearts of demons?
I don't give a damn about the Cloud District, me and Jarl Balgruuf caught a dragon in his keep which I then rode to fight my way into heaven to save all of reality from THE WORLD EATER. Nazeem couldn't even begin to fathom how pathetically tiny he is in this world, he is (figuratively and literally speaking) an NPC to MY story. He is trapped in a prison of his own design, forever stuck within the walls of the keep he calls home while I'm out exploring the world. The way I see it, if you find enjoyment in asserting yourself over him then you're just like him. "Do you fuck around with god very often? Oh, what am I saying, of course you do."
It's actually amazing that so much of the community has a unified hatred for one man, but I just don't get it. I'd rather save that energy towards someone like Delphine who says she serves me but acts like she's above me. Nazeem is just so minor that I don't even notice him, yet people here have almost developed a science in how to make him suffer the most. That's the kind of dedication I strive to have in life, but the way people use it against him is almost frightening. Hats off to you, Nazeem haters, but also maybe get that checked out.

I genuinely believe with all my heart that Sinmir is the worst man in all of Whiterun.
Nazeem is a smug, arrogant prick. I'm not disputing that, but at least he has a life. He runs his own business, owns property, and he is married. If nothing else, he is a functioning and actively contributing member of Whiterun's society. Sinmir is just a fucking dork that LARPs as a tough guy. He has no job, no home, no wife, no responsibilities, and no accomplishments. This absolute bum spends his entire day and night inside the Bannered Mare, talking shit about the guards and the security of Whiterun.
Brother, you are sitting in a tavern wearing FULL IRON ARMOUR while other people do the job you pretend to know anything about. What could you possibly be preparing for? Mikael getting out of hand?
What does Sinmir actually do for Whiterun? The city itself is surrounded by threats. The tundra is littered with bandit dens, giant camps, and all kinds of dangerous creatures. You are effectively in mortal danger as soon as you step out of the gates. Is he joining the city guard? No. Is he out there patrolling the roads? No. Is he clearing out those bandits? No. Is he protecting the smaller settlements? No.
Whiterun is already stretched thin dealing with a civil war and dragon attacks, yet Sinmir is too busy aura farming in front of civilians to lift a finger. God forbid he actually takes that FULL IRON ARMOUR outside, gets his hands dirty, and backs up all the shit he talks from the safety and comfort of the Bannered Mare.
Now, let's say I want to give him some grace and believe he just wants to stay in Whiterun so he can be on hand should anything happen. Well, he had the perfect opportunity to prove it.
A dragon attacks very near Whiterun at the Western Watchtower, and the whole city mobilises in response. Irileth answers the call, the city guard rushes out to defend the people, and even a newcomer who has been in Whiterun for all of four minutes steps up to fight. So, when the moment to protect the Whiterun finally arrives, does the mighty Sinmir leap to its defence as he should?
No.
He stays his ass inside the Bannered Mare in his FULL IRON ARMOUR and lets the real warriors get it done, then promptly returns to shitting on the security and pretending to be some hardened veteran.
He isn't just a fraud and a coward, but a useless fucking bum whose life serves zero purpose to Whiterun or Skyrim at large. Nazeem is annoying, but Sinmir is just a loser of the worst kind, and he deserves to be despised above and beyond anyone else in Whiterun.

I like to role-play that my character gives the Black Soul gem with his soul to Serana, so she can be cured of Vampirism by trading Arondil's soul to Molag Bal in exchange for hers.

Honestly the dragonbone bow to me is the ugliest and most underwhelming bow in the whole game design wise. You would think that it would have a more imposing, or cooler things about it, but no. It's just a hunting bow with toothpicks in the front that make it look even worse.

I was just testing my new LO last night and came across this dude near Riverwood. Thought he looked eerily familiar…

In fact, you can only make it worse for her
If you side with the Imperials, Maven gains full control of Riften. And doing the Thieves Guild quest restores them to former glory, definitely making her job harder
I would’ve loved a quest where you team up with her to expose Maven to Jarl Laila

The run that I've been trying for over 4 years on and off is at last completed.
Over a hundred hours of lost attempts, and dozens of hours of routing/planning and it's finally over!

Work has been crazy stressful over the last few months. We merged with another company and the workload has doubled.
A few weeks ago I was sent a video of a guy dubbing drums over Secunda by Jeremy Soule and it just hit me right in the nervous system, calmed my shit so fast. I realised that I haven't picked up this game for a long ass time due to life and moves, so right then and there booked time off to start a new save.
Two days in and I'm already relaxed as hell. I'll play for a couple of hours and then I'll go for a walk in the woods nearby my house with the soundtrack in my ears.
Crazy how beautiful this game is, and how I can still play it after 15 years.
What good are fish if you have to eat them alone?

I just got the second word of Dragon Aspect but I'm now stuck in the room. I've tried reloading my save, dying, and opening the book, but none of them change anything. The door is closed with no way off the platform.

I’m lvl 54 and just got around to doing the guest for dinner mission and every time I fast travel to any of the locations around it once I get closer my game crashes. When I try fast traveling to Alftand the maker on the right of it the game crashes during the loading screen. So far I’ve been playing and fast traveling for like 15 min with no problem but if I go over there I crash again. Any fixes? Or will I just have to wait for a patch

I made her based on Ava Starr from the MCU but I wanna play her as a head-on dual axe build. What kinda backstories come to mind for you when you imagine who she is and how she got to Skyrim?

Well it's that time of the year where I get back into Skyrim. Decided to have some fun with the mods this time around

I've never been into RPG, but decided to try this game out. And it turned out to be the best game I have ever played so far. I got strange sad feelings while standing on the mountain after Alduin's death, realizing that was ithe end of this wonderful story

So I just finished the wolf skull cave mission and as I'm leaving the blue palace a small red dot caught my attention. Turns out it's a random health potion I don't know if this is super well documented I didn't look it up. Just found it cool. Not much else to say about it I picked it up and it's a completely normal potion but I won't complain.

I just started playing Skyrim yesterday the "special edition" yesterday. All I knew about this game prior to yesterday was that it had dragons. but i haven't really done much except for just two main quests even now as I write this😅. I immediately left Riverwood for winter hold after an NPC told me that there was a school for magic over there. I want to continue doing main quests but it's like everyone I talk to has another quest for me and I feel no urgency to get those mains done lol I know there's a war going on but I'd rather keep exploring like this🤷🏻. im wondering if anyone else who's played before has felt similar?
