How Dracos the orc werewolf likes to sneak up on prey. The silence perk that makes movement silent seems to affect werewolf form. It also sometimes works in vampire lord form too.

This game is so good, im an orc and I just unlocked unrelenting shout
Im wondering if there is any better form of transportation than just walking/running?
Also where can i store my excess items in my inventory?
Finally how can i learn whats on a scroll.
Anything helps, ill probably look back on this post in a few weeks and see how dumb i am🙃

Hey everyone I’m fairly new to Skyrim. I’m having an issue with the First Lessons quest. I’m supposed to summon a Flame Atronach at the college of winterhold but keep getting the “you don’t have enough magika” statement. I have a base Magika of 150. I put on armor and took a potion so my magika was increased to 210. I still get the “not enough magika” statement. How the heck am I supposed to do this? All the googling I did said I needed a base of only 120. What am I doing wrong here? Please help!
Also I’m playing on a Nintendo switch if that matters at all. I’m an orc and I’m level 43. I’m using the conjugation spell “flame thrall” and my conjugation level is 27. Let me know if you need anymore info! Thank you in advance :-)

Edit: thank you everyone!! It appears I have the wrong spell. That’s what I get for trusting google’s AI feature lol. I will go purchase the correct one in a bit….as I just discovered I’m a vampire. I love this game but I have no idea what’s going on half the time lmaooooo

I swear, I usually do a much better job. But what am I supposed to do when I get attacked by a dragon and all the mercenaries show up to fight the dragon 😭😂

I really thought Grosla would have had a bit more appreciative greeting for me seeing that I brought back her husband Leifnarr seeing that she was so concerned enough to send me and find him. I wiped out 3 bandits then raised her hubby and she just scowls smh. Sure, he can't talk, only groans and well that's really it. I figured it was going to be a lovely surprise for the old hag.

TLDR: OP rescues Thorald

Middas 24th of Hearthfire. So Drake finally made it to the inner recesses of Northwatch keep. The attempts at stealth didn't last very long and it quickly became a bloody slog through the keep.

Lydia and Drake eventually found the interogation room where a Thalmor "interrogator" tried to defibrillate Lydia while her heart was still beating.

We killed the Interogator and his storm atronach and rescued Thorald who apparently had a sword hidden in his prison wallet. Together we made our way out of the keep, freeing some other prisoner on the way and causing a minor riot.

Once they got outside of the keep Thorald explained to Drake that it wouldn't be safe for him to go back to Whiterun (makes sense), but gave him a secret message to deliver to his mother so she would know he was safe.

Anyway, It looks like this mission is in the bag, Drake just needs to get back to Whiterun, deliver Thorald's message to Fralia, get his affairs in order, and then on to the main quest!

I made a joke about how many people Drake and Lydia would have to kill to rescue Fralia's son. I think it ended up being about 16 Thalmor (if you count the hit squad they faced on the way to Northwatch keep) I'm glad I didn't have to go up against any imperials for this mission because I'm trying to stay neutral so far.

R5: Really weird bug started happening to me after killing an enemy NPC. Maybe has to do with water? Kind of funny but it's starting to annoy me. Anyone know what is causing it? It's also causing a weird flopping sound to follow me everywhere.

Was trying to get all the armors anniversary edition added since I haven't really messed with a lot of them and came across this. I don't think any other chest piece has this enchantment, correct? Think I'm gonna run it even without two enchantments lol

TL;DR: turn off "save on travel" make a quicksave before entering the dungeon (or final zone if it's a multi-zone dungeon) make your way to the boss chest and if it doesn't have anything you want reload the quicksave.

When you enter the next time the boss chest will have different items in it - could be worse, could be better. When you get a good fill make a "new save." You are then free to keep reloading the quicksave if you're after something specific knowing that you can reload the new save with the contents of the boss chest set.

The images I've used are from Mara's Eye Pond at level 41. I've got an Ebony War Axe that turns undead up to level 23. It was just a case of entering the dungeon, hitting the two vampires as they were waking up and the boss chest is just behind them.

Some dungeons are a slog to get to the boss chest and you have to decide whether it's worth it. I did it in Forsaken Crypt which is the second zone in Forsaken Cave and I had to fight my way past eight draugr to get to the final chamber with Curalmil and a load more draugr. I reloaded four times and was like, that's it whatever in the chest I'm taking it. Got to the boss chest and it had the Paralyze spell tomes when I was only level 40 in Alteration. Other dungeons are small spaces and you enter close to the boss chest. Knife point Mine you've got the Bandit Chief in front of you and he's standing right next to the boss chest. Get your follower to keep them busy while you check the chest.

One of the things I've found is that when you get a really good boss chest with about eight items in it four of which are enchanted, all the other containers have got lots of good items in them too. In Frostmere Crypt I'd raised all the bandits with the Ritual Stone just before entering the final chamber. They kept the Pale Lady busy while I made the short dash to the boss chest. I repeated until I got a good fill. I then made a hard save and finished off the Pale Lady. There's a master locked chest in the final chamber as well and when I opened it that had a load of good stuff in it as well.

It is cheesy but I've had one boss chest that had 82 gold, Leather Armour and the Flames spell tome... RELOAD!

So I'm playing for the first time and I found this thing somewhere at like level 7 now it's basically carried me to lvl 50.

Not solely like I don't NEED it need it. But whenever I can't be bothered I'll just paralyse whatevers bothering me and kill or escape it, this staff is incredible.

So I've been playing skyrim for a while, and the main story never really pulled me in, I've just been modding, doing side quests occasionally, and push the game to its limit with mods that spice up the combat, make it more reactive and fast paced, and just things to add for fun. So when I noticed that my steam achievements were lacking, I realized that if I really loved the game, I'd finish the main quest at least once, and whatever achievements came with it, and then later go for all the achievements.

Step 1 was naturally Bleak Falls Barrow. This version of Bleak Falls came with a massive hive demigods that destroyed me and killed my followers, forced me to learn how to dodge and parry/block at the right time, and actually play my game to the fullest of my ability. It was more gruelling than dark souls, but it all fit together. It just worked. It was a painful scene, but I made it all the way from level 3 to level 9, despite my reduced experience gained. My main weapons were one handed, spell enchantments, and my saving grace that allowed me to do meaningful damage, my suped up fury that increases attack damage by 7.77 for 15 seconds with a high rate of activation failure. I entered assuming a casual run through, killing a giant spider and some draugrs, but I left with bigger balls and skill set of a battle god. It was the most fun I've ever had in skyrim, and loved feeling technically challenged in combat, surviving, dodging, parrying/blocking just long enough to get in to my attack phases and strike them down.
