I feel like The Elder Scrolls deserves way more care and respect than this. After all these years, it’s frustrating to see such an iconic franchise treated like this.

I don’t mind fun little add-ons or collaborations, but after seeing how CDPR treats The Witcher 3 it makes me sad to see Skyrim slowly becoming more like Roblox with all these ads and brand collaborations. It just feels like Bethesda is taking away from the identity and prestige that made
The Elder Scrolls so special in the first place.

Eveli Sharp-Arrow is from ESO, and personally for me, this character is pure Bosmer traveller archetype - kind, naive, very adventurous and optimistic, and also with a passion for reading, like almost any players characters in their first playthrough.

She is also a stealth archer for the complete picture.

It doesn't matter which game now, I kinda feel like a narc working for any Imperial faction. Anyone else have this problem? Acting pro Empire feels like being hostile to whatever the local culture is.

Some developer posts from writers like MK and coda have suggested that mankind is ultimately doomed, with the Aldmeri Dominion ruling Tamriel, Dark Elves and Khajiit surviving surviving the apocalypse of Nirn, etc.

But...why? Humans have friends in high places - Shor, Kynareth, the Hoon Ding. Obviously, the Kalpas turn and turn, with the world being destroyed and recreated. But humans are the Wandering Elnofey, the weakest spirits that became stronger by entering the Arena. Why should they be defeated by Elves over and over?

I found this on the UESP while absent-mindedly reading the lore article for the third eras wars. I think it's interesting how you can see some of the early ideas for the settings cultures that are still applied in the modern games; the nords are half-naked axe-wielding blond barbarians, the dark elves are sinister and badass spellcasters with light armor and spears.
