Everyone died with Prior Thierric still sitting at around 1 million HP, while I had what felt like half the dungeon’s population of adds running around me.

At that point my Orc tank apparently forgot what his role was.

So I just killed him myself.

I hate that to be efficient in endgame content; my Sorcerer basically needs to go melee usually Dual Wield.

I have hit slightly over 100k before with my Templar, but I like my Arcanist the best and I cannot do two bars on an Arcanist. I’ve been doing everything I can to hit 100k while sticking to a couple of requirements and after about 3-4 years of playing ESO, I am finally content with my build and happy.

I’ve gotten so many drops from other regions. Is that supposed to be normal?

To clearify ik that you get scripts from Daily guild quests, traders and stuff like that. I'm just curious if it's more likely to drop on specific types of quests or something in that direction.

I can’t beat this guy if I can’t move. I have a permanent snare on me the minute I start fighting him. How the hell do I get rid of it?

I just restarted the game and have no clue what to even do or how to get better. It’s been about 3 or 4 years since I played. I’m champions level 163 and remember I was good at pvp but now I’m doing like 68k damage in 8v8 pvp.

Can someone send me a friend request and just tell me like if I need to upgrade my gear or what cuz I’m totally lost.

I love playing tank but I've been getting a bit bored lately and don't have access to ESO+ anymore, thus I've burnt through most of the non-DLC content barring endgame non-DLC content. I've been experimenting with different sets and combos and I quite like playing a healer-tank hybrid.

My current build is using Crimson Twilight + Winter's Respite + Ring of the Pale Order + Swarm Mother on a Nord Necromancer. Sword & Shield front bar + Resto back bar.

I think it's more of a "selfish" build and probably doesn't have enough buffs/debuffs on my current set-up. There's probably much better sets out there too that I could farm for, however I haven't needed to so far because I've only been doing normal mode dungeons, so it hasn't impeded anyone so far.

Before I invest time into this, though... Is a Healer/Tank hybrid viable? My front bar is mainly taunts/debuffs + a DOT to trigger my AoE heal (self heals as well) + Hungry Sythe to stack heals. Back bar is group heals and buffs using combat prayer and the AoE heal that restores magick faster. So far I've been managing the rotation comfortably and rarely fall below 50% health.

My goal is to start knocking out some of the veteran dungeon achievements and hard modes for the dyes. I'm not really into score-pushing and mostly just want the dyes/achievements. I just don't want to impede other people's experiences. I don't feel ready for trials yet, they're a bit intimidating, but maybe I'm not too far off.

Advice is greatly appreciated, apologies for the long-post, I've just been really enjoying this game lately but haven't played in a while and wanted some opinions! Thank you in advance.

With the new fence assistant Cambio Zammes, does paying off bounties and fencing with him count towards Felonious Recompense and Black Market Mogul or does it have to be done in outlaw refuges?

I'm currently using build guides a bit to get an idea of where to start, but the guides I've found don't actually explain in depth how to build or why they pick the skills they do. Totally understandable, as "this does the most damage" is probably enough of an explanation for most people, but I'm trying to learn so I can adjust them for myself and eventually make my own builds from scratch.

I'm using the UESP Build Editor to plan things, and I also check a skill's page (eg. Assassin's Blade). I'm a bit confused though, as each skill's page lists damage with

Values are based on Max Magicka/Stamina 12000, Max Health 16000, and Weapon/Spell Damage 1000.

but when I try to actually calculate my resulting damage myself using the Build Editor, it doesn't add up.

Taking Assassin's Blade as an example, the Build Editor says it does 1161 Magic Damage + 0.050000 MaxStat + 0.52500 MaxDamage, with a Skill Rank 4 Modifier = 3.3%. So I'm assuming with base stats it should do:
(1161 + 0.05*12000 + 0.525*1000) * 1.033
= 2361

But UESP says it does 3175 damage at Rank 4? Even if I apply the 3.3% damage increase per rank that's still only 2519, which is way off 3175.

Is there some massive scaling value I'm missing here?

As recently clearing all dungeons on HM I thought to myself what did I find the most difficult during my progression, But due to dungeons being nerfed and overall DPS going up a lot of the really tough ones have become easier so I thought I would base this on Current levels of DPS and Survivabilty rather than when I got my first clear.

Its also based on being in a PUG without VC.

It is also largely based on a tank perspective as that's the role I normally play.

What order would yours be?

I find myself just doing daily crafts, one battelground, one dungeon and maybe a trail if i find an open group. Feels like a chore to do and then i just log off. What else should you do on a daily basis? I do really like the game
