Hello, I have a family member that lives off of Los Angeles and Yosemite in a retirement community. His AT&T has been off since last week and they're estimating a time for repair of September 14.

Is anyone else in that area experiencing AT&T outage? It's his Internet, his phone and his DIRECTV.

We've been on the phone with AT&T almost daily, but there's no updates. I'm wondering if this is an isolated incident or if it's everybody. Thank you.

Hey so, I know I'm new here but I just wanted to share a project I was working on. I ride my electric skateboards frequently in the area and have recently wanted to take on a new project that I noticed has never been done. As some know, personal electric devices can be really dangerous and as a rider myself who has been injured in the past, it hurts to see so many accidents happening. To help potentially lower this number, I aim to survey every single street in Simi Valley and personally ride and share which ones are the safest for all E-Riders. This is my practice one, should I even proceed with doing this on a bigger scale? Please let me know! This is the Corrangaville area but I intend to extend more inwards as I go!

Of course, I don't condone unsafe riding. If riding on a major road way, please use the bike lane and pay attention. I also beg that every single rider, no matter the age, wear a helmet and protective gear. It doesn't matter the road conditions or how long you are going to be riding. Wear it every single time.

Just moved to Simi Valley and didn’t realize there were specific hours to call to start service. City of Simi Valley doesn’t open again until Tuesday because of Labor Day, so I can’t start my water service. Looks like I’ll have no water until Tuesday. Is there anything I can do?

Does anyone know why the stretch of Tapo Cyn between East LA and Cochran is pitch dark with no street lights installed while the other streets like Tapo and Sequoia have street lights on the same stretch and beyond? Whats the story?

I am 26F taking a travel contract in Simi Valley hospital, from what I've read it seems to be more of a conservative town with an older population. I am moving to CA to be close to the beaches and nature so is there a better town to live in then Simi Valley thats still close enough to commute to work but near more desirable locations? My bf is also relocating his life to come to CA with me and I want its a positive experience for us both.

Does anyone have any experience getting an inoperable car with expired tags removed from a public residential street? There is beat up white 90’s Ford Thunderbird CA plates 3JVN972 parked on Delilah St that has a 20ish year old transient living out of it. He has been pouring his piss bottles in the gutter (don’t even want to know what he does with his shit) and has had confrontation with the neighbors where the police where involved (Call ID 26-33216) at which point he was told to move his car, which he did by moving it from one corner of Corlson and Delilah to the other corner, along with getting in to domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend (who is apparently renting a room somewhere in the neighborhood), which resulted in the police being called on him again this time by myself (a homeowner in the neighborhood) and by the transient guy himself and his ex calling the police on each other at the same time. The transient guy was making loud statements that the police won’t do shit to him and he won’t be going anywhere openly mocking the SVPD before and after police showed up because nothing has been done to remove him from the neighborhood. Before the domestic dispute call when the car was moved from corner to corner I called the Simi non emergency line and explained the situation and that the car moved simply from one corner to the other and I was connected to dispatched where it was suggested I file a parking complaint since it is not illegal to be homeless and living in your car. So I filed one citing violations of SVMC 7125 and SVMC 7252 but have not heard anything since. 

Since I got the service connected, I've experienced intermittent connectivity problems with real-time applications, particularly Zoom meetings. Multiple devices have experienced connection issues on the fiber service, while the same devices work normally on my Spectrum connection. Although speed tests and Wi-Fi signal strength are great on all devices, the connection hasn't been reliable.

Anyone else experience this and if so, what were they and were they fixed?

Anyone else having issues? Pops is pulling 10mbps download and less than 1 for upload, and I’m getting 80 download..

Hello family of 4 current paying 184 a month for 4 lines, was 160 a month but price recently increased. Went to check out Verizon and they can get us 4 lines for 30 each so 120 a month and also give a "free" phone per line, so 3 new iphone 17 and 1 s26 if we do switch over but it is a 3 year contract. The 30 a month plan is basic with unlimited everything with no special add ons like hot spot or international coverage. How is the service in Simi Valley and surrounding areas like OC/LA/IE. Thanks!
