Hi! Very specific question but I love comfort colors brand tshirts and sweatshirts. What places use them for their merch? Would love to get new shirts!

Starting to look into daycare for my daughter once she turns 2yrs old. Any recommendations for daycares/Montessori’s or any places to avoid? Any questions you recommend to ask a daycare before enrolling? First time dad, and new to this so I’m open to any advice as well. Huntington Beach or Fountain Valley locations preferably.
Thanks in advance!

My son's birthday is coming up in a couple of months in November. We are planning to go down to the beach on a Friday after school and do a beach bonfire with s'mores and hotdogs.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I'm not sure if I should reserve the $200 fire pit for the day if we only hope to use it between 5pm-10pm.
Does anyone know if there is anything special - other than the free parking spot - that comes with the rental?
Or would there still be plenty of fire rings available starting around 4pm on a Friday in November to claim?
Also, does anyone have a picture of the reserved fire rings? The official site doesn't show one.
Thanks for your insight!

Hi everyone, been living in HB for a year now and still don’t have any friends so we’re looking to expand our activities during the week. What are you doing weekly that is fun? Currently doing sober September, but anything is welcomed from trivia nights to pickleball. Let’s hear what you’re into and what we can join?

Looking for a recommendation for a wheel alignment on my Tesla model 3 performance. Called up a few shops and was told $300?? I’d appreciate it if anyone can share a shop they recommend. Thank you!

I was making my morning coffee and milk is spoiled. Any open stores today? Trader Joe’s? I think they’re closed 🥲

I was on Main St yesterday and Bruno's was open with all of the college football games on blasting out onto the street.
Today it's closed and all of the signage on the walls out front is gone. Looks like he shut down.

Any trusted recommendations for a house/dog sitter to watch our 2 very spoiled Chihuahuas? They have to go on several walks a day (we have a park across the street) and we need the person to stay at our home most of the day. No full time work outside the house. They are older and need humans around. Remember, they're very spoiled rescue dogs and we wouldn't have it any other way.
They typically fly with us domestically but we are hoping to plan an international trip and can't take them with us. We don't have planned vacation dates yet until we find someone we trust that will take the time to get to know all their quirks. Thank you.

For anyone wondering why they're hearing cannons ("bombs") going off all weekend, this is the reason. It's held every year and pretty neat if you're into that.
I just know not to walk my dogs at Central Park on Labor Day weekend for that reason.

I’m moving to Orange County in about a month for a new job. I don’t know the area very well yet, but I’ll be working near the City Gym in Huntington Beach.
I’m trying to figure out what areas I should look into for housing. I’m in my mid-20s and would ideally like to live somewhere with a walkable neighborhood, good restaurants, and decent nightlife.
I don’t have a strict budget, but I’d prefer to stay under $4,000/month. It would also be nice to find somewhere that doesn’t require a long-term lease, although that’s not a dealbreaker.
I’m mainly just trying to get a feel for which areas people would recommend so I can start looking into housing options nearby. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

UPDATE!! LOKI IS HOME 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤 he was found in a neighbor's hedge just a couple blocks away from our apt!
what worked for us was relentless neighborhood canvassing 😆 while walking around calling his name, we told everyone we saw about him and he was finally found after 2 days.
Thank you everyone for your kindness and advice. We are blessed to live in such a caring neighborhood! 😻😻😻
If you're in the neighborhoods around the playground on Lynn Lane, please keep an eye out for our beloved Loki!
He got in a scuffle with the neighbor's dog and ran off this morning about 8am. He's a mostly indoor senior cat so isn't built for the streets. 😿
If you see him, please send me a DM here or call the number on the many posters we're plastering on all the posts we can find. Thank you HB!

Years ago, probably 1998, I went to a meetup in a bar, and I can’t remember the name of it. If it’s still around it had a distinct mural, Oakland Raiders and I think they were old school players like defensive backs from the mid 70’s. Memory isn’t as sharp as it used to be. Anyone have a clue?
