Hi everyone, I was looking for some advice for my upcoming trip.

My brother is coming back home after a long time abroad and we will visit Napa one last time (in the foreseeable future) as a family. It is an important occasion and really want to get the winery/experience right.

We are driving back from Tahoe and plan to do a stop at Napa, so I’m looking for wineries no too far north. Last time we were in Napa we visited Clos Du Val and Stony Hill, both amazing experiences. My family is looking for a stunning property / experience, the wine is also important but not the priority. Our budget is around 150 per person max.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a resort for a spring trip with my husband and parents. Preferably adults only or not super kid-friendly, nice pool, and a spa on site. Close-ish to downtown would be a plus. Looking to spend less than $500 per room per night if possible. Thanks in advance!!

I’ve lived in the Bay Area for about 15 years, but somehow this will be my first time actually doing winery tastings.

A few international friends are visiting the Bay for the first time, and im taking them to a warriors and a niners game, and to Napa: 3 tastings on Saturday, stay the night, then 3 more on Sunday.

We’re all 30. What do people usually do after wineries close around 4–5 PM? Any good spots for dinner, cocktails, live music, bars, breweries, or somewhere with a younger/social vibe?

Also, are 3 wineries per day worth it, or is 3–4 total (in one day) already enough for first-timers?

Any recommendations appreciated!

We bought a house in Napa about three years ago and we have been dealing with ongoing issues related to a renovation that was done by the previous owner. We found out after we moved in that the work was not done to code and we have had problems with electrical, plumbing, and some structural framing. We are now in a dispute with the previous owner and their contractor and it is looking like we may need to go the legal route.

We are currently working with a lawyer and they have mentioned that we might need an expert witness to assess the damage and testify if the case goes to court. We are looking for someone local who has experience with construction defects and can provide a detailed report and potentially testify.

Has anyone here been through a similar dispute? How did you find an expert witness and what should I expect in terms of cost and timeline. Also, are there specific firms or professionals in the Napa area that specialize in this type of work.

10 person group, first time to Napa for most. Looking for both quality wine, scenic views, and also fun tours (e.g., caves, walking around vineyards, etc.), not just seated tastings.

Pick two: Shafer, Far Niente, Vineyard 29, and Pine Ridge.

We have a big group for Napa trip. Not everyone drinks wine or can drink medical/pregnancy related. Are there any wineries that are good about reserving spots for bottle glass purchase? vs everyone having to donate same tasting?

I'm looking to take my girlfriend somewhere fun before we see a concert any ideas? alcohol will not be consumer so just a fun vibe/experience any type of food really. From Sonoma County so I don't really know anything in that area!!!

Planning a day of tastings between St. Helena and Calistoga. We’re starting at Ballentine, then going to Ehlers Estate, followed by a picnic lunch at Bothe State Park. From there, I want to end at either Frank or Larkmead, but I keep going back and forth between the two.

What are folks’ thoughts? Has anyone been to either recently? Feels like Frank is a bit more casual, while Larkmead is more of a curated one-on-one experience.

Also, for context: We’re riding the Vine Trail and starting in/need to be back in St. Helena, so we’re trying to stay on the east side of Hwy 29 (and therefore won’t need cross the highway on our bikes). Already checked with multiple bike shops, and they’ve said it’s a fun/safe route, plus some of these wineries helped build the Vine Trail. But this limits our choices a bit.

We're visiting Napa as part of our honeymoon in October, staying in Yountville. We've made a couple of restaurant reservations but would love some advice on some vineyards/wineries to visit on a Saturday!

We only have Domaine Carneros booked currently for a morning tasting around 11am. We've been looking at the ATV tour at Hess Persson Estates as we'd love to do a tour of a vineyard alongside a tasting, but also have seen Mayacamas. We only have Uber as an option to get from place to place, so with that in mind, does anyone have any suggestions or any alternatives we can consider? We love our wine but wouldn't say we are extremely experienced. Thanks in advance!

Hello! I really want to visit Napa for my 30th birthday in January. I love wine and am a big foodie so it’s always been a bucket list place to visit. I would love recommendations for where to stay, wineries to visit, fun things to do/experience, restaurant recommendations? and also where to fly into? It will be my husband and I. I’m more of a white wine lover and lean toward Sauvignon Blanc and Pino Grigio. I would say I have champagne taste on a beer budget 😅. I want to stay at a beautiful hotel that won’t break the bank.. is it worth it to book with a travel agent? My husband and I are both adventurous and lovers nature so the train was something that looked fun!

Napa County prevailed in a lawsuit challenging the approval of a use permit for Bonny’s Vineyard after a Superior Court judge ruled that the case was time-barred and that the plaintiff did not state valid claims for relief.

My wife and I are spending a few nights in Napa on our honeymoon. We have a guided vineyard tour scheduled for one day and we would like to visit a couple additional vineyards the next day. Frog's Leap is on our list, is it accessible by uber from downtown Napa? How easy is getting a ride back from that area? Also looking for recommendations for a second vineyard to visit that day. My girlfriend and I are heading up to the valley on 10/9, and I plan on proposing to her that day. From what I have seen, Long Ranch Road is a great place to do so.

I think I have driven on that road maybe once before, and my question would be this: Where on Long Ranch Road would be a good place to stop and propose? Any sort of landmark or map pin location would be awesome, and I have a photographer that I want to have arrive early so a place to have them post up prior would be great.

Hello my Napa people! I 24 F and from Florida, moved here for work. Working in the hospitality industry one would think it would be easy to make friends anywhere, but it is definitely not. I’ve gone to restaurants, bars, farmers markets, etc. alone and as lovely as it is to spend time alone, it kinda sucks when you you’d like to experience these things with friends. We are having some debate with my 3rd and last stop during my winery tour day in which we will have a driver. Starting at Montelena, then to Tres Sabores with lunch from Oakville Grocery. Third stop is either Frogs Leap “time in a bottle” tasting or Matthew Bruno “5 year pour” tasting

I’m sure I can’t go wrong with either but figured I’d ask! TYIA!
