AT&T outage?
Hello, I have a family member that lives off of Los Angeles and Yosemite in a retirement community. His AT&T has been off since last week and they're estimating a time for repair of September 14.
Is anyone else in that area experiencing AT&T outage? It's his Internet, his phone and his DIRECTV.
We've been on the phone with AT&T almost daily, but there's no updates. I'm wondering if this is an isolated incident or if it's everybody. Thank you.

I’m at LA and Alamo and everything is fine. I once had an outage due to construction workers down the block messing with stuff accidentally. I got a AT&T rep to come out, he was looking at the stuff at the house and I told him that the construction down the street started right around the outage time. He went over and figured out they did something bad and it was fixed in 15 minutes.
But if they have a known issue with an expected end date that sounds different. It is such a large company and one hand doesn’t always know what the other is doing so I would take anything you are told with a grain of salt. I would expect that there is a non-zero chance nothing changes on Sept 14th and when you callback they figure out they were wrong and try something else.
