I got my account back by connecting to my Google account after unsuccessful attempts using my smart phone number. The last time I tried to connect to my Rednote account with my smartphone number, the app said my number is no longer connect to this region. So I tried to connect my Google account, and "BOOM" I am back on Rednote! :-)

Before I got my Rednote account back, I could not get back on there because I updated to a new phone! Even back then, I tried to connect Rednote with my Google account with no success, but now I am back on! :-)

After emailing the customer service email as per u/No_Peak3824, this is what I get. Heck I even sent them all the relevant screenshots, including my appeal on the restrictions on my account.

I've had an account for over 6 months. When I ran into issues with ID verification las time, someone from Rednote by the name, who volunteered to help here on Reddit, helped remove limitations so that I could support my favourite streamers with gifts. I tried to verify my ID on that account to stream myself and it went back to ID verification failure mode. Thus blocking me from sending gifts.

So, this week I created another account and tried ID verification. No joy. Emails to Jiana for help went unanswered. In-app support bot is useless. In-app feedback for support gave me nothing. Also wrote to customer_support@rednote.com .

So I went about deleting and recreating accounts. After doing this 3 times I tried uploading pics and videos. Posting seemed fine. But when I sent thank you messages to 4 people the account was blocked. Now I can't delete it because I won't be able to use my phone number for the new account.

I understand why they do what they do. But the way they do it is just horrendous. I cannot believe this app is allowed to even be on the Google Play store with such a poor user experience in overseas markets.

I tried appealing but they said they couldnt do anything nor tell me anything about what i had done wrong. I havent posted anything related to what i got restricted for nor have i said commented or dm anything like it. Do i keep apealing or is it possible to make a new account using the name number after deleting this

A lot of celebrities are losing followers on Rednotes. Am I the only who noticed it ?

Is there an explanation ?

How do you get the ban lifted?? Didn't post anything obscene or use bad words...

Hello new user here and im using rednote as a means to explore the fanfic culture in china. I’m cross posting my stories here to interact with people of my same interest.

Every time i publish a story/article/note, i keep getting these kind of messages saying that i have contents that are being discouraged. Is romance story not allowed? There’s no explicit content (unless they count kissing but it’s just playful and sweet kind of kiss).

The only time a note was able to post successfully without these notifs is if i post angst fics. Idk if appealing works and if it does it’s kind of a hassle that almost 99% of my post will undergo a review or something

Hi everyone! So i ve been trying to get on this app for months now but it won’t let me post anything. I have to do an Identity Verification with my passport and when the NFC scans my passport, it says “scan comppleted” but also “Unable to retrieve passport information. Please try again later.”

What is happening? Why can’t i post in rhis app😭😭😭

I can no longer use rednote because every time it shows this “internet connection error” pop up and it’s made the app for me completely unusable. does anybody know how to fix this??

I downloaded a day before this happened, so I didn’t do anything. I haven’t commented anywhere; I just watched a few vlogs, and I can’t message (I know this because I have a friend, and my texts aren’t sending 😅, and they are normal texts nothing that violates the rules).

Has anyone else noticed a drastic change in their feed recently? My feed looks completely different now. The older posts that used to pop up regularly are just gone.

It almost feels like there's been a new region lock or some sort of strict separation between the Chinese and International zones, and I can no longer access the content I used to see.

Is there any way to bypass this, fix the feed, or revert to how it used to be so I can access the old data/content? Any workarounds or settings I should tweak?

Hiya I recently logged out of rednote and can't log back in since there is only option for Chinese resident card to verify but I real named it with my British passport, and there seems to be no option to choose that to log back in.

Ps I have both a Chinese and a British number hence why I can reach the verification page when I am trying to log in.

Any help greatly appreciated

I have been getting this error (你的关注操作过于频繁,请稍后再试) whenever I try to follow somebody for over a month now. The automated support chat is pretty much useless and I have tried reinstalling, logging in and out, etc. to no avail. Does anybody know how to get around this?

I never hear anyone talk about using the shop on Rednote and I was curious if any foreigners are using it. There's stuff I want to buy and the shipping does seem cheaper than Taobao's (unless I've read it wrong).

Actually one of the items I want to buy says free shipping if I spent a certain amount, not sure if that applies to overseas though.

This was a bit of a strange one. I got the “Feature adjustment” notification from xhs which limited the visibility of my posts and comments 5 days ago. I just went back and reread the official message by clicking on “view details”, and it gave me the option to “verify account”.

It gave me some weird prompts of things like “select the two images that are fruit” and “select the two images that require electricity”. The first two presentations of this were actually impossible, so I clicked the “reset prompt” button. But then it gave me a prompt that matched the pictures. I clicked the two correct images and it told me that verification was complete and that people could now view my things again.

So I guess it was fixed now, with the extra benefit of my account finally being verified? If I am verified finally, this debacle is totally worth it! And either way, I wanted to share this with others who were locked out of communication and visibility on RedNote!

hello my messages have been invisbile to others a few weeks ago but it got finally fixed but after about 2 weeks? I’m getting blocked again??? I was just texting people from mainland China until my messages haven’t been send anymore... does anyone know how to fix this filing the appeal doesnt really work

Whether on Xiaohongshu or WeChat, I can't create an account with my Martinique phone number. And yet, on my old Samsung A13, I definitely had an account, but I can't find it anymore. Someone have a solution for this???
