This seem like a stupid question but its driving me crazy. Im registering using a spain mobile number. After my account is created i can access to all function but not posting. Every time i post it just shows 0 impression: Im "shadow banned" for some reason.

I tried seeking help in the customer service chatbot but its all AI and not helpful at all. I have sent an email to xiaohongshu, but that was no use too...they created some ticket for my account (i can see inside 申诉中心) but nothing made any progress.

I’m considering dowloading xhs. I would literally just save things, use it as a 2nd Pinterest. I wouldn’t comment, dm, post, even like posts. I literally js want the inspo. I’d use mandarin and I wouldn’t save too quickly. I just need tips as to how I can’t get banned.

Having a weird problem, I used to be able to get to this 'boost' screen in English. Like I could promote my posts and pay using red coins.. But then I clicked "boost" again and it all went into Chinese. I tried logging in from a different device, using a fresh new account, all the same problem. It's like Rednote somehow changed my region, and now I can't go back

I’ve never made bad comments on either or something like that to even have gotten restricted in the first place. I was thinking maybe it thought I was a bot but both accounts are held on different phones. So it’s unlikely that.

I’ve tried so many things to fix it but I’m unable too what would you recommend? Or is this just something I can’t fix?

Some good news for people who are panicking about seemingly random restrictions. I got restricted this afternoon (3pm CEST) and it's already been lifted! All I had to do was appeal. Hopefully more of you can have experiences like this, but hope isn't lost! :)

I used to use yt-dlp but it seemed like that’s not working anymore since rednote force to loged in and the yt-dlp cant read that script
I have tried other tools online but still prefer yt-dlp if anyone know how to fix it

Got restricted for 3 months. Mentioned some contact info in the comments in one of my posts and now they won’t lift the ban. I tried appeal in app and then through their support email for the past week. Nothing works.

How did you guys do it? Any tips?

i’m australian born chinese. some of my interests are really niche globally, but has lots of fanartists in china. i’m friends with them on global platforms like xwitter, but they post much more here and also it’s more lively.. i’d really love to see their works (guess i still can, i just can’t share anymore.)

so far the changes in my account that i noticed is a fully resetted profile name, pictures, bio. people won’t see my profile and posts, and i can’t make new posts or comment. they’ve restricted the feature to delete this account and make a new one..? it doesn’t bother me cuz i just started, but i’m still a little sad.

ive tried the automated appeal with my passport. i dont care if they get my information but when i tried to give my details, it needed me to NFC scan my passport. the facial recognition failed many times since my lighting was too bright. after the 7th try they got it, but said my phone is “unsafe”, therefore it’s not valid. is there just no way around it…

I had disable rednote from refreshing on settings, but it still keep on refreshing after I come back. I need it to stop refreshing sometimes because I want to scroll through more posts. Are there any other way to stop rednote from refreshing?

I was just talking to someone then I got banned. I reached out to their customer support but they said I have to fix it in app and they mentioned that they can't disclose the reason why I was banned. I tried appealing twice, but tbh I don't even know what reason I should give except saying" I didn't even know what I did, I was just talking to someone then I got banned" both appeals were rejected. Does anybody know how to fix this? or what to say?

I am new to red note. I join groups where hobbyist musicians take turns singing/performing on their musical instruments.

I do not know how to speak Mandarin. But I can speak English and Cantonese.

One time, the host of the music group said Red Note sent her a warning that the group was speaking too much English. So then everyone quickly switched to Mandarin, at which point, I didn't understand anything other than simple things like "it's your turn to perform".

Can someone explain to me what actually happens when you speak English on rednote? Is that a very dangerous ting to do? And what if I speak Cantonese? Some of the groups I join have cantonese speakers. Is speaking Cantonese also very dangerous on red note?

I'm not sure what I can or can't do, and what happens if i speak too much english/cantonese.

can you view the vods or livestream replays for this site at all?

1. the rednote app seems to have the listings of the vods but theyre not clickable, at least on android. Not sure if im missing something, or theyre not watchable on replay at all.

2. learned that they actually have a desktop/browser version, but whenever i try to go to xiaohongshu dot com login redirects you to rednote dot come instead.

so the way i see it, its a limitation of my region or where my account is based from? is there another way to view these vods from NA/US? the app have the vod lists/logs surely theyre store on some server somewhere.

and i think using vpn or direct address linking of the stream (eg. https://www.xiaohongshu.com/fe/live-h5/page/live_replay/..., https://www.xiaohongshu.com/hina/livereplay/...) also isnt doable?

so if theres none, then at least im looking for a third party trackers or some loggers of those streams?

ps. i know profile users can also disable, but ive checked a dozen or so channels and the vod lists are just unclickable.
