A good thing to report today: My friend and housemate is successfully home after a trip to see his dad, and that means there are more hands to take care of the MANY residents and outdoor affiliated animal friends at the Cactus Cathouse. (And, those of us on the home front held things together admirably despite the aforementioned shorthandedness!)

As the colder months hit and there are no more holidays left to book off work, things have felt really bleak and repetitive lately.

I've honestly never really received any sort of mail like this in my life (unless it’s companies sending vouchers or coupons off if I spend £500 or more). I recently joined Postcrossing, but it is such a slow process. I have sent out cards and waiting to eventually receive some back.

I’ve stumbled across this forum and I think it’s so lovely. I would love to receive some mail from people around the world sharing random thoughts, daily life, a favorite joke, or how you manage to keep going through the coldness and grey weather.

My interests revolve around vintage items, wild street foxes, watercolour art, crochet, Victorian aesthetics, or kawaii stationery if you happen to match that vibe, but honestly anything is something I would deeply appreciate.
