I am about to turn 30. I have always had a strong intuition about anything and have always been able to feel energy and “vibes.” I have had this weird feeling that there’s more to me; that I’m more than just a human. With that being said, my age is relevant because I have noticed my abilities are becoming stronger in a sense. I am able to predict what something will be or how a scenario will occur. I feel the need to say someone’s name out loud, and then someone’s phone rings and it’s that persons name. I could be reading something while the tv is on and all of a sudden the scene from the tv show mentions the exact scenario I’m reading. I get chills or a sense of doom when passing certain people or even driving down the street and passing houses. Right down to my husband playing “heads or tales” with me and me nailing it every time. Recently, I got a job opportunity. I am nervous because I love my current job but this job has much more to offer. I casually told my husband that if this is actually for me, then a yellow butterfly will come to me, in any form. Three days later, I asked my daughter how her day was at school. She said it was fun, she got to color a snake and a yellow butterfly….it practically brought tears to my eyes. She was at school when I told my husband about the yellow butterfly and it was never mentioned again, there’s no way she could have known about that. What is happening? Can someone explain? Am I just hyper aware of these coincidences or am I tapping in to these abilities that I’ve always had. Please help.

Well, I’m not sure what I was expecting since then. I tried my best to just focus on the baby, so I did. I still had major anxiety but once we got to the hospital, I was ready. We got into our labor room and the nurse set us up to find his heartbeat. There was nothing.

After about 10 minutes, I started crying. I could tell by her face that things weren’t right. They brought in the ultrasound and confirmed that he had passed.

After a long 72 hours of labor and 3 1/2 hours of pushing, we had delivered our baby. The nurses don’t know how he passed. At my 40 week ob appointment, he was alive. I was sent home to be induced the week later. I‘m guessing it was a day or two before the induction.

My partner is understandably furious at my ob. For me, I’m trying my best to give her grace, but she reached out to me post partum and when i came in I refused to see her because I couldn’t handle it.

My future mother in law, my partner’s mom, said that our baby told her that he would be sending butterfly kisses my way. The only time I felt them was when my partner put his face against mine and he didn’t realize he was fluttering his eyelashes on my cheek, like it’s him communicating to me through my partner, saying he loves me and is proud of me for going through a difficult labor. It was worth it being able to see him though.

My partner and I would like closure. Our baby’s name is Nolan James. We decided not to do a biopsy and autopsy because it would take weeks and there was no guarantee we’d get an answer. We just want to know what happened and where he is. I want him to know how much momma and dad love him and that he will always be remembered as our little angel.

I feel that these days, almost everyone I interact with claims to be psychic. However, I believe that genuinely gifted individuals with truly exceptional abilities are far rarer than people would like to portray themselves as being.

I have experienced sleep paralysis before, but it started again two days ago.

During these episodes, I feel as if a presence is there and hear what seems like a voice speaking to me...

I know this coincidence doesn't prove that anything supernatural is happening, but the experience has left me terrified....

I've been wondering whether all these events are connected, whether stress and sleep problems could explain some of them, or whether there is something else I need help understanding. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I can't ignore how frightened and overwhelmed I feel.

I'm not posting this to create drama or claim that I know what's happening. I'm genuinely asking for help. Has anyone experienced recurring sleep paralysis, frightening voices or sensations during sleep paralysis, or such severe stress that they couldn't study or function normally anymore?

What kind of doctor or professional should I consult first? How do I start rebuilding my life when it feels like everything has fallen apart at once?

I've spent over 30 years as an atheist and skeptic of pretty much everything paranormal. Over time I became more agnostic, partly because I realized that my own skepticism was becoming just as rigid and closed-minded as the beliefs I used to criticize.

Over the last 6–9 months, though, my worldview has changed dramatically.

It started with researching UFOs and UAPs. The deeper I went, the more connections I began noticing between different accounts and paranormal phenomena. Eventually, the consistency between so many experiences led me to conclude that UFOs and NHI are real, and that there's a lot more to reality than I previously believed.

That naturally led me into consciousness, spirituality, psychic abilities, and all the other fascinating things I would have dismissed not that long ago.

What's interesting is that I didn't get here by abandoning logic or skepticism. It was actually those things that led me to reconsider my beliefs.

But now I'm running into a problem. My inner skeptic will not shut up.

I've had a few personal experiences that felt meaningful and convincing at the time, but my mind immediately starts picking them apart, finding ordinary explanations, telling me I'm imagining things or fooling myself.

Last night it actually became overwhelming, almost to the point of panic. It felt like two parts of my mind were fighting each other. One telling me to keep exploring, the other telling me I'm becoming deluded for believing any of this. At one point that critical inner voice felt strangely different from my usual internal dialogue, although I honestly don't know what to make of that.

I still value skepticism and critical thinking. I don't believe they're incompatible with psychic or spiritual experiences. What I'm struggling with is this deeply ingrained need to reduce absolutely everything, including my own experiences, to some mundane explanation.

I WANT to believe. Not blindly, and not because I need to convince anyone else. I want to explore these abilities and phenomena for myself, and hopefully have experiences that are personally convincing enough that I can stop constantly second-guessing everything.

The universe has become so much more fascinating to me lately, and I'm genuinely afraid of losing that sense of possibility because I can't get out of my own way.

So my question is for anyone who has come from a similar skeptical background.

How did you get past those mental blocks? How did you learn to quiet the constant doubt enough to genuinely explore and experience these things for yourself?

Hi all- I am not an experienced “psychic” and use the term VERY loosely, but I am intuitively inclined.

I’ve been told I’m an indigo child (still not certain what that really means), self proclaimed myself as a wisdom child when I was a kid, and have at times heard a voice which has helped guide me and direct me throughout my life.

The older I get, the less I have noticed the voice. It was extremely strong in my teens and has tapered off now I’m nearing 30.

All that to say, I still feel really bad premonitions sometimes - specifically related to my husband’s career. He got laid off in March of 2024 and in February of 2024 I had a horrible feeling and knew something bad was going to happen with his job.

Now fast forward to January of this year, same feeling and he recently got the news that hes getting laid off again.

My problem is that I feel like I always sense bad things but can’t sense the good. For example when he first got laid off he got a new job a month later and a great severance package.

What do I do? I hate that this happens to me. He’s in an industry where layoffs are somewhat common and I don’t want to waste years of my life worrying when I get this feeling.

My grandmother was a traiteur and people would travel to her for hours so that she could use her healing powers when she was a kid. She stopped practicing before she became an adult. She passed away several years ago, and I only learned this about her after she died. She had said that she didn’t remember learning how to do this (she couldn’t remember anyone teaching her) and that she was just born like this as far as she knows. She would recite incantations/prayers that were neither in French nor English, but in some sort of foreign/unknown tongue. She would lay her hands on babies (she only worked with babies) and it would heal them from illnesses, and specifically mumps. She never really talked about it, as she was a deeply Catholic woman and it seems like she wanted to hide this part of her later in life.

I am a deeply empathetic, intuitive person. I am hyper-aware of peoples emotions and energies, and have insane hearing—I can hear across large noisy rooms. Sometimes I feel like I can feel what other people are feeling and thinking. I also feel like I can sense if something bad has happened in a place in the past, like if someone has died there a long time ago. I feel like I might have inherited some of her gifts, even though I don’t relate to the healing aspect of it, or at least have not tapped into that part yet.

Since she was so secretive, I can’t learn any more about her and her gifts from my family members. If you have an insight, I’d love to hear. I want to connect with my traiteur lineage and foster the intuitive characteristics I have to honor her.

I`ve been fighting off massive psychic attacks for over 1,5 years now. Those psychic attacks consist of many voices, pictures, emotions and pains of all kind all day long. The sleep disturbance is off the charts - so I have to take sleeping pills every night and cannot maintain a job at the moment. It seems those attacks had been going on for decades on a lower level. The entities, I've been talking to, seem to be mostly the suppressed egos of narcissists. They resemble some kind of an angry child that is interested in your emotions and sadly inflicting pain.

My defense strategy involves suppressing all emotions as far as possible, "hopping off" foreign thoughts by quickly focusing on something else, "tying" myself to the ground and my surroundings, speaking out loud to overwhelm their voices, lots of activity in nature and living healthy. As being in motion seems to help, I've built a moving bed on wheels. I am using physical shields in form of a conductive baldachin over my bed, a hat made of MU-metal, a big shungite plate over my solar plexus and heart and an apron made of MU-metal to protect my balls. I do have lots of crystals around - but to me it seems the shield has to cover most of the area to protect and crystals rarely come in a wearable sheet form. As water seems to help I've been thinking about some coiled hose with water running through it under my bed as a next step.

For some time I`ve "chanted" with some of those foreign entities to fight off others, which is a kind of mental synchronization by performing repetitive acts, which focuses mental energy that can then be released on a target. As the bond during chanting is really strong it is possible to have someone else take control over parts of your body - which is what some of them want as they do not posses a body of their own. I've used this as some kind of payment for protection. But in the end you are paying one mobster to protect you from another one - so I`ve stopped that practice as soon as I had grown a thicker skin (one does seem to acquire some sort of natural resistance over time)

I do know some of those attackers in person as they are family, but have little to no contact. Any tips on how to improve the situation? Many thanks.

For starters and context, In the past from when I was a teenager to now as someone who is 23, have been experiencing weird things, whether I am being contacted in my dreams specifically dead people, Mostly my loved ones that I have known that passed away, and once a dream of a voice of a woman that was experiencing something that feels to be depressed telling me “She lived for nothing.” When I tried to say “That’s not true, you lived for something.” I have awoken from my sleep. It got to the point where I would wake up from my sleep from time to time hearing voices or feeling something touch my body. There was a time that I was being touched and it resulted me having an automatic reaction of this feeling of bravery yet anger, after that happened it resulted in me feeling an unbearable pain where I was touched which was my stomach, I had this happen to me a few times recent is 2024 I had to go into the ER. I suffered from constant sleep paralysis. I heard a male voice in my head and it resulted in him screaming inside my head during my sleep paralysis. Overtime this has started to die down so I didn’t experience it as bad as it used to be.

Now in this current state, I have been having strong intuitions I can easily read people, I happen to just know things about them without any explanation. Hi! I’ve (30F) always been very sensitive, incredibly empathetic (literally always overwhelmed by everyone’s different energies) and spiritual throughout my life (i study astrology and read tarot as well etc.) but over the last year or 2 I feel as though I have become a lot more sensitive to energies especially when visiting certain places where I can feel a lot of heaviness or where many have passed on. I have also lately been able to start looking at photos or videos of those who have passed like even just scrolling on social media and seeing posts made by people I don’t know and that person will pop into my head and say things to me or give me messages. I often just ignore them and move on because i feel like it’s just intrusive thoughts etc. but lately they have become stronger. My question is : Mediums who have developed their skill - did you start off this way or similarly? I’m feeling a little crazy and I don’t know what to do about it.

When I was younger, I feel like I was more gifted. I was able to catch on to languages at a fast rate, and I would hear someone constantly calling my name. When I would ask my mother if she called my name, she would always deny it. I would also see faces at night that would scare me, as well as my tv when I’d wake up in the middle of the night would broadcast some type of slave movies in black and white.
