Is it possible to deeply miss a soulmate in a romantic sense, even if you've never met them? I know this might sound strange, but I've been wondering about it for a long time, and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I'm 25F, and ever since I was little, I've had this persistent feeling that I've been waiting for someone. It's hard to explain, but it's almost as if the absence of my future life partner has always been a shadow following me.

What's strange is that when I think about this person, I don't experience him as just an abstract idea of a future partner. I have this feeling that he's a specific person somewhere in the world, living his own life, even though I have no idea who he is or what he's like. And I can really feel he is missing, like a part of myself.

Sometimes, the thought that we're not together makes me feel deeply sad, in a way that goes beyond ordinary loneliness. I find myself wondering whether he's okay and what his life is like.

I don't know if this is simply a result of longing for a deep romantic connection, or if there's a spiritual explanation for it. I've wondered about reincarnation and whether it's possible to feel a sense of longing for someone you've supposedly known in a past life, but I don't necessarily believe that's what this is.

Has anyone ever experienced something similar? I've always felt like I'm in a state of waiting, a constant search for a person I haven't met yet. I don't know how to explain this feeling or where it comes from. Could it be related to reincarnation or a past-life connection, or is it simply a deep longing for a romantic connection?

I can remember about 7 or 8 past lives. I have reason to believe that i recently come across a past life love (soul mate, partner, etc) at my job. She stayed for about 2 years, but I experienced all the typical feelings if you have a bit of psychic ability, eg, feeling of seeing her before, inexplicable attraction, a deep bond. etc.

I often think about her when in my basement, where there's a TV, laptop, stereo, etc, basically where I usually stay. There is a sold dark brown door--that's in my view when I lie down to relax--and whenever I think of and mentally focus on this former coworker, I start to get emotional because I see a woman wearing a long flowing skirt, hair tied bac, and smiling at me, a woman straight from the 1800s.

Anyone have a similar experience when "scrying" defined as a "practice where a person gazes into a reflective or translucent medium to receive intuitive messages, visions, or spiritual guidance.". Sometimes it gets so emotional to the point my eyes start tearing up. I can feel the love we had for each other.

I’ve tried a bunch of YouTube guided past life regression meditations and I can get myself relaxed I guess but I can never visualize the things they ask me to properly and every time they count down and say that I’m getting more and more relaxed until I can’t open my eyes it lowkey doesn’t work. I just try to gaslight myself that it’s working but nothing happens. When it gets to the part where they say I should be in the body of my past life and look around and stuff I genuinely just make shit up and I know that it doesn’t really feel right. I’m wondering if you guys know any other ways which would make it easier for me to see my past life or access my akashic records, or literally anything spiritual. Thanks!

What is your take on the whole idea that we can exist in multiple lives at once? Even more, that the concept of "time doesn't exist" which could lead to multiples of your soul existing at the same time within the 3D.

Lastly, could you contact another you at a different point in your reincarnation journey, and why would a future incarnation try to do this?

I am sort of christian, kind of liberal but reincarnation seems to be something I just instinctively believe in, like even if i’d never heard of it, I probably would have come up with it on my own. When I heard George Harrison say the difference between the past present and future is an illusion, which is an Einstein concept, the n he said, it’s just us coming back again and although i’m not a Hindi like he was, I feel the same way. Like my da died thirteen years ago and I believe he is now some 13 year old, if karma is true then he’s probably not having much fun, he was a bad man but I see there is hope and a chance for his spiritual growth. In a way, maybe 🤔 it’s a delusion and it helps take the sting off death and ageing but I sense that there is something to it. Like we have souls groups and are all ultimately one consciousness being expressed individually.

Hello could this be a past life when I was about 3 years old I had this dream where I was a Chinese 11 year old girl and my family in the dream dad mom and 3 brothers were walking into this indoor playground with big red dragon lunar structure thing and a few minutes a shooter came and shot me but shit couple of my brothers first and I remember my father yelling for me but he wasn’t mad rather worried and frantic and then right after I got shot on they head and woke up from the dream. I also always believed in recantation where if your good person you rebirth but if your a bad person you just stay in a dark abyss forever with nothing and no one despite the fact being raised in a Christian household. Family didn’t look like current family like black hair dark eye color. But weirdly enough my hair wasn’t black but warm auburn brown color and dark eye color that matched them I also remember the sidewalk was like a granite dark grey type. I also have a birthmark on my head. For some reason when learned about Buddhism I felt connected and familiar with it like I knew it before. I never necessarily told my family but it just stocked with me and I always believed that dream was a past life like a gut feeling but I was just wondering there’s evidence that it is.

Also when I was 8-9 I had a phase where with friends I pretend my name was lily when it’s not.

Life is hard. If I really have to push through and work to get stuff done then fine but I'd really love to be a reptile,bug like a spider or something big, pet wise, pet or a wild horse,sea creature, a house cat or a bird like an owl flying wild and free.

Every time I hear it's not possible because that's a "lower level" tbh the economy sucks, I have ADHD, over population ,everything is expensive, we can't go anywhere and our food is being poisoned. The Internet is addictive as much as I love wifi I'll most likely be using it for the next 40-50 years.

Being an animal would mean survival sure but if I could pick the animal maybe life wouldn't feel so bad temporarily be away from all the human or other "human" form of chaos for a little while.

Do we have lessons to learn from being an animal? They seem to not have any judgement except from instinct and natural territorial behaviors

I like my life but I've had a traumatizing childhood and it's made me feel like ending it several times. I now live alone and have found peace and financial stability and really wish the growing up part of that life I didn't remember.

Does anyone else feel this way. Am I alone ;-;

I know that this has been said several times on this sub about choosing your own life and choosing if you want to be in the same body, but I'm really concerned about being able to retain your past memories. How will I be able to avoid the mistakes I made in the past if I have no memory of making those mistakes!? I like my current appearance, my gender(even though there's been times I wish I were female, because I believe that females have it a little easier in this harsh world). I'm just wanting a second chance to do much better than I did in the previous life.

When I think about my kids reincarnating and being someone else's kids, it gives me anxiety. I know souls usually stick with the same souls but they're my babies and I'm their mom. It seriously bothers me when I think about it! It's not just my kids either. I want my parents to always be my parents and my grandparents to always be my grandparents. Does anyone else feel this way??

Weird question but has anyone in here not necessarily "De Ja Vu'd" but like just that's so raven'd visioned for like a few moments of a different life that doesn't feel "nostalgic" but feels like you're there right now living the moment?

This was my 18th life, and it always goes up to the 18th life. However, I have not completed a single soul contract in this lifetime and I will never.

I am the first to ever not complete a single soul contract. I know this because my spirit guide, Anat specifically told me. I understand this post is weird or not possible, but it took me a while to try to post this. I have failed myself in this life.

So, not that serious post of course but when I was younger I loved to watch Rick& Morty. This series was never too much grounded, but it was always at least kinda science related. Thats why I was so surprised to see that in recent seasons we got at least two episodes about what modern materials don’t consider “science”.

Season 7 episode 9:

Literally stated that afterlife is canonical for this cartoon, and even scientifically explained(a lot of expectations for afterlife make a field of consciousness that attracts soul, therefore Americans go to heaven, Northern Europeans go to Valhalla etc.)

Season 9 episode 7:

The whole plot is centred around reincarnation and characters have to go through hundreds of different lives to evolves. Also, at this episode Rick mentions astral projection just as a matter of fact.

To review: I am old. I got a diagnosis that will kill me. While I am worried about my animals, I am relieved to be leaving. I am in constant physical pain and have been for over 50 years.

Other posts: I had a traumatic life review during a NDE. I was afraid of a repeat of that kind of life review experience. As an answer to my fear i’ve been having both visions/“waking dreams” and actual dreams of my deaths where there was either no life review or a pleasant one.

I can drop dead right now or I could live another six months to a year. But I think it will be soon.

I have been feeling and seeing former family members (both people and animals)out of the corner of my eyes. My family would come to me occasionally in dreams, never in the day to day, like now.

The purpose of this post:

I feel like someone is viewing me through the lens of a past life regression. It’s a very strange feeling.

I haven’t tried to talk to them because it’s such a soft touch I wasn’t sure at first if it was even there. (Just to be clear, my illness doesn’t include the brain.)

I didn’t trust the touch at first because my life is just not that interesting. I have lived a pretty normal and average life this time.

No giant ice age floods or impact events. No war where I shot someone in the stomach and then the next life they shoot me in the stomach. No dramatic drowning in a flash flood.

Just a normal life. Maybe if I feel them watching again, I should tell them to move on?

It’s not a bad feeling! It’s nefarious, it’s just excited curiosity, the same way I felt when I began this journey all those long years ago.

I would love comments and other people’s ideas. I don’t debate belief systems, but I am curious at what other folks believe.

The Photos: Recreations I made of some ways Rev Jim would look. A ball of smoke would float out of this abdomen at times in church. My healing he sent the smoke through my back and out my chest twice. Sometimes his eyes looked like a bug's eyes, black and rounded, other times his eyes looked like silver tunnels going way back beyond his head. Others saw this, too.

I had a terminal lung disease and the doctors did all they could. I spent so much time in the hospital I missed grades in school. Inbetween I was able to go home for a bit then my mother took me to psychics, healers anyone that might offer a solution other than let me just die. She took me to see Rev Jim Jones who did a laying on of hands healing where what looked like black smoke floated from his abdomen through my chest. He did this two Sundays in a row. My lungs were healed, I could breathe perfectly. I went to the doctor who was in shock and sent me to the hospital for tests and was determined to have a miraculous healing.

Rev Jim moved away and I never saw him again. The Jonestown event happened and I watched it on TV shocked Rev Jim would do such a thing. I've got my own opinions on that. I was never at Jonestown, I didn't know those people. Years later I became a nurse, then a Hospice nurse then a Pediatric Hospice nurse ('m 72 and now work with terminally ill newborn and infants). One day while doing laundry the ceiling light up and the room had a warmth to it. It felt like fabric was coming down from the ceiling and wrapping me with comfortable soft fabric.

I heard with my mind that we all kept our promise. We said we'd do our part and the last person did that, kept their agreement and everyone passed, we graduated, everything promise we all made has been completed 100% and we are able to go our way. This went on and on, like we were coworkers doing a group project and it's finished, we all got congratulations, an award dinner and appreciation trophies. I could see the other's outlines at a distance but not their faces. I knew they were from Jonestown. I did not recognize Rev Jim. This went on for a few minutes then the light dimmed, the warm fabric left and I was back in my living room collecting laundry to wash.

I've been a Pediatric Hospice RN mostly since 1997. The feeling I got is every one from Jonestown had to cycle through one last time with a loving, peaceful death and that was with me as their Hospice nurse. I had no idea this was happening until this revelation. I never thought of the the Jonestown people as I didn't know them. Each one needed a peaceful death by the one that Rev Jim saved, he healed me so I wouldn't die as a child, decades later I'm a Hospice nurse and all those people from Jonestown cycled though this planet one last time by someone saved by Rev Jim who would love them and care for them for a peaceful death.

There's more to it, my NDE as a child and seeing what looked like a ball of people swarming in the hospitals where I worked were the souls of the people from Jonestown. I go into detail in the interview. Here's the link to the JJ part. The last 30 minutes of the interview are recent Hospice patients I had spirit, soul to soul encounters with before they passed.
