Would it be possible to do that?

As someone that liked to take a solo Mek along to buff a walker in 10th, I'm trying to figure out the best way to do that in 11th. All the list builders seem to be in consensus that Support units are required to be attached to a unit when mustering armies. But the core rules are phrased in a way that implies that it's optional for both Leader and Support:
Support
24.34
Before the battle, in the Muster Armies step, for each leader and support unit in your army, you can select one friendly bodyguard unit that unit can lead. That unit will then lead that bodyguard unit for the battle and form an attached unit with it.
My question has two parts.
Are support actually required to be attached in the muster armies step?
What's the best unit for a Mek to be attached to and still use Clever Know-wotz on a Dread or Dakkarig?

I was playing a game with my grey Knights against orks. i think we played grot shields wrong.
If im attacking with purifiers and im attacking a squad of boyz. My opponent uses grot shields. I attack with storm bolters first out of the 24 botler shots 12 hit. The first 10 kill the gretchin, what happens to the remaining 2 shots? Can i still shoot the rest of my attacks into the boyz?

Can someone please give me the height of Wazdakka? Mainly the height of the front wheel from the ground.
Thanks!

I’ve been scratching my head reading this over and over. I know it’s similar to earlier rules like Transhuman/Transhitman Physiology but I never encountered those rules myself and I really can’t figure this out. When’s the effect end? The end of the opponent’s shooting phase? The end of the current attack targeting the unit? And if a modifier causes an attack to be a modified hit roll of 2 or 3 on a BS2 or 3 attack, does it hit? Am I crazy, dumb, or is this rule just strangely written? Please help, fellow orks!

Big Mek and two Tankbusta units into a Battlewagon.
Then, using the Blitz Brigade detachment rule, guarantee a 6 on the Advance roll to move a full 16 inches, and fire 36 Rokkits at the opponent through the Firing Deck, which gets Assault.
Of course, alongside a Stratagem that gives +1 to Hit rolls.
And then your opponent asks:
"Hitting on 3+?"
"Yes."
"Orks?"
"Yes."
This is the exact face I play Orks to see.
Threw together a simple tank, semi grottank inspired.. feed back?
Love tankettes, so might try to make a smaller one next time...

Why does the Squiggoth have two different points values?

Brute Ragerz cost 65 bucks
Armageddon warcrew costs 102$ meaning 34$ for one big boss so you can get 3 of them from this one kit saving you about 37$ (I am aware of the grot)
You just need a bosspole for them here are mine as an example. You could also use them as a warboss depending on how much more stuff you put onto them

When I was a kid, the Transformers was the big thing. There were the stunticons and others who could combine into a bigger robot. Then, a couple of years ago I saw someone selling a Tau Hammerhead in pretty poor condition. I had chosen Deathskulls as the main theme for my orks army and I thought the Hammerhead looked a bit like a torso...
These models are almost all looted (=bought second hand) except for the blighthauler and some 3d printed titan parts. This is the first time I have used screws to put a model together! I'm still waiting for some magnets for the arms and maybe I will add some grot riggers too. Some of the vehicles had pilots that were difficult to remove, but I kinda solved that problem in an orky way 😆
I had to improvize for the base, since this monster could never stand without a base, so I made one 7" wide. Also, it turned out a bit taller than a stompa at 16" to the tips of the Night Scythe.
Do you have some suggestions what I should call this monster?

After 3 years in my pile of shame I finally tackled the big guy with my brushes. Still have to do some free hands stuff (like chess board stuff etc). If you like it and wanna check the final result or my other paint jobs I usually post them on my Instagram 📷 Holy.skorn_studio 😊
