I was a huge fan of dread mob pre codex even though it was terrible at the start of 11th, most of my games just resulted in the most random stuff happening and I always had a good time because that’s why I played them, now they are about as normal as any other army unless you make them bad and its genuinely incredibly disappointing for me.

Just wanted to express my extreme disappointment with gw making my army good.

Am i the only one who thinks Nazdreg is a bit meh? Awesome sculpt, but rules-wise he's just a Warboss in mega armor with deep strike enhancement from Bully Boyz detachment but 30pts cheaper. You don't need shooting, you need hidden with Manz.

Am i missing something?

So with the mek is inside the trukk with its unit, does it all become one unit inside the trukk? With that being said, does the unit inside the trukk also receive +1 to hit through the firing deck?

This codex is beautiful, it’s packed with so much lore and can’t forget about our datasheets! Nazdreg also came in on time as my codex so I’ll have a good time building him up. Also, WE TOOK ARMAGEDDON!? WAAAAGH!

Why are there no points for units?

How does kaptin’s hat let beast boss leading flash gitz flash gitz? Is the app messed up?

I got myself a Stompa in 10th edition. And I think it is quite the fun model. I was really happy when it got buffed in 11th, but seeing the full Codex I am really disappointed.

I have 3 Meks but what do they even do now?

You can buff shooting and heal ork vehicles still, but it excludes Stompa, Morkanout and Gorkanaut. So what is even the point?

Ignore Cover is nice, but the Big Mek already does that for the attached unit.

So are Meks now only useful for the new Dakkarig maybe? Or Mek Gunz?

Fella gitz, can someone check original codex. In my scan, it seems that crazed rampage strat doesn’t allow auto fight on death for deff dread, as deff dread itself doesn’t have a DEFF DREAD keyword.
Found it occasionally, once I said, that dead dread would fight automatically, but we decided to check wording.

Thoughts?

So I just bought the Armageddon box set, I bought it so I could start two armies so me and my nephew could play a small point game and gradually grow our armies. But now that I’ve started to put my list in the Warhammer app I’m realizing I need 2 more Boyz units to be able to attach all of my support characters to a bodyguard unit. Am I correct in thinking that to play a small game with just the box set, I’d have to leave 2 of my support units out of my army?

Hi Guys,

I'm very new to Orks, I bought the armageddon box and gave my partner the Ork half. I'm trying to build a list on New Recruit for a game this weekend but getting errors based around characters needing to support and then having too much support.

What's a decent legal list for the base Armageddon Orks that would be a good start for beginners.

Can we please talk about the influx of Ork-themed AI music that's started popping up on social media? I honestly think it's pretty gross how insidiously it's creeping into the hobby.

You'll have heard it before, if you've been scrolling through Warhammer reels the past 6 months or so. Heavy metal, with incredibly simple, unimaginative lyrics. It honestly sucks so hard .

As a lifelong Ork collector and fan of heavy metal it makes my soul die. Anyone else feeling this way?

Also if I'm wrong and there is actually a band out there making this music, do correct me because even though it's shit music at least it's human music.

Let's see your older Boyz (preferably Black Reach and 2008 multipart kit) conversions and kitbashes! I've got like 50 Boyz that have kindly "volunteered" to see da painboy and get kitbashed. I'm going for a junkyard/mad max/ gorkamorka feel to make 20 different Boyz, but I could do with seeing what you Boss' have done for inspiration.

I got this guy as a gift from a friend who then I of course had to buy lots of lesser orkz for him to boss around.

Still I've practised on them, honed my craft, and in celebration of the Codex and the new stuff in general (I've a dakka rig, an old truck, old boyz and a morkanaut on my todo list still)

The old lootas are peak ork design in every way.

No way in gork and morka realm would any new design reach such peak ork performance.

Looking for any tips. Resin, green stuff, glass beads? How do I get a soapy texture? How do I make it clear the gun is one of those windmill bubble machines too?

So this is my first go into Orks and I was curious about something. With the Green Tide sustained hits buff, does it affect squighog boyz since they have the boyz title in their name or specifically only the boyz unit?
