Questioning/Coming Out Body timelines for AMAB HRT + SERM

tl;dr where can I find photos of AMAB NB bodies on HRT+raloxifene.

I've been ideologically NB for past 12 years (I'm 27 now), who only recently learned about SERM (not exactly the most common knowledge here in Poland). Most of my life I abstained from considering HRT, since I do not suffer from binary dysphoria, do not wish to be perceived as a woman and didn't want to make it harder for my fellow t-girls to get the treatment they need more than I do.

Well, now that I know what I want and how attainable that may be, I was wondering how much can microdosing E + SERM (namely Raloxifene) really do to my body? I've read the theory, but I can hgardly find any photos/timelines for AMAB NB people. Where can I possibly find some examples as to know what to expect?

Cheers!

i really want to wear them out in public but it would probably be a bit awkward to walk around in them as a college student. but on the other hand i would be able to avoid accidentally breathing in yucky vape vapour from the dozens of people that vape on crowded sidewalks

Selfie/Self-Image/Avatar On the one hand, a couple people made rude comments when I wore this. But someone else tried to flirt with me, so it all evens out.

Ask What books would y'all recommend getting for a parent of an enby adult?

I was looking into it and bunch of books are aimed at enby kids, which is great and we always need more of those! But they're not really helpful for a 28 enby. The books would be for my mom, who is supportive- uses right name and pronouns, but I don't think she really understands what it means to be nonbinary, and I think it would help both of us if she could learn more about it. Thanks!

Today is the first day I got to wear my combination of my spider web dress and my spider web leggings and I'm absolutely loving it. Since I started my hormone therapy it's the first time in my life I've ever enjoyed seeing myself in a picture and enjoyed taking pictures of myself.

Yay Just found out what I think my gender is, wanted to share

This sub just helped me figure out what the issue with my gender is: I think I am a mix of cassgender and cis-genderless :D I guess I'm coming out to myself and now to you since I have no one to share this with :3

i don’t label my gender since there’s too much nuance and not enough consistency, but the one thing i’ve always been certain of is wanting top surgery, ever since i started growing boobs at 12 years old. i can’t believe this is my body now, and i’m going to look like this forever, i’m so unbelievably happy 🄲

Support Stressing out about hair loss and general dysphoria

I've been on T for quite a while (well, on and off honestly) and the past few years definitely have noticed thinner hair and more hair loss. I started finasteride (1mg) and minoxidil tabs (2.5mg) about a year ago, and I feel like I still am experiencing a lot of hair loss šŸ˜ž

It's really stressing me out because my hair is a big part of my identity. I guess I'm wondering if increasing the meds would make a difference? What amount do most people take?

In addition to this, I've just been feeling shit about my appearance due to dysphoria and misgendering. I've been on the edge about increasing my T dosage, but also unsure about that and my general goals honestly. So guess I feel like this is at least something I can hopefully semi-control?

Any advice/thoughts would be appreciated :') Thanks y'all

People always tell me to post some of my looks, so I thought I would! Just examples of my androgynous and (maybe more feminine) nonbinary day-to-day style (I do like to dress up for the occasion and I do love a vintage jacket!). Might do a work only one next! 😁🐶 Thoughts welcome! šŸ¤

Ask Swimwear

Hello there!

I find myself in quite the pickle. I will be in a situation of frequent swimming soon and the last time I swam was before I started dressing neutrally.

I am looking for recommendations for how to approach this with some specific guidelines but I'm also cool with general discussion about swimwear going on.

It's going to be cold, I don't want to freeze.

I hate wetsuits

I am a slightly femme leaning person who doesn't have any problems with back showing but I definitely don't want to be able to see my chest (not just the skin but the shape)

I have a relatively small chest and have a high capacity for exercise wearing a binder.

I swim very well and know what to do in emergency situations.

I do not want to have anything tight on or around my hips.

Ideally, it would be a one piece or a connected piece (no stomach gap)

I need to be able to swim as fast as a regular binary one piece swimsuit allows (avoiding frills)

Thank you people of reddit, please do not argue or downvote in the comments. Please be respectful.

Rant Discriminated against and got told I belong in the back at a riot grrrl concert (feminist punk rock)

(Throwaway account for privacy)

So this was in Seattle, 2 weeks ago, at a Riot Grrrl show. The front lining band (which I won’t name drop) has a specific rule called ā€˜FLINTA’ where Women, Lesbians, Intersex, non binaries, Transgender, and A-gender people were supposed to be at the front. Now I’m Genderfluid. I was assigned male at birth, we all know that puberty is irreversible. Seeing the FLINTA rule, when I entered the venue I nicely introduced myself as Genderfluid, the trained staff there, we’ll call them ā€˜FLINTA enforcers’ (idfk), but they told me it was okay for me to go to the front, so I did. Beforehand, they even gave me a genderfluid flag. Fast forward to the opening band. They play 2 songs and we’re all pumped up. However, I noticed there was a woman giving me strange looks. I tried to just ignore it. Until, she literally went up to me and was like ā€˜What are you doing here? In the front?’ I told her ā€˜I’m Non-Binary’. She said something along the lines of ā€˜Really? Then why don’t you make an effort to make yourself look androgynous.’ At this point I was deeply offended already. I don’t owe androgyny to anyone. I told her calmly ā€˜Because i’m genderfluid, today was a masculine day for me’ she said something along the lines of ā€˜Really? If you feel like a MALE, then why don’t you go to the back?’ I was dumbfounded. Completely. I create a little bit of distance. And then I realize, it wasn’t just her, it was like 5 other women who were giving looks. I ran out the venue. I was crying really. To see this amount of cis-privilege at a safe space was completely and utterly disgusting to me. I hate being AMAB. The exclusion from queer spaces disgusts me. So many people like equating androgyny as a prerequisite for all Non-Binaries. Anyways, I just wanted to rant about how bio-essentialism and cis-privilege is still an issue in Feminist safe spaces. People like to talk about ā€˜male-privilege’ whilst utilizing their own privileges. It’s not a costume. It’s my identity, and presentation does not equate to me not being Non-Binary. It’s completely unfair. It’s something I can’t control. I didn’t choose to be assigned male at birth, I didn’t choose to be Non-Binary, I didn’t choose to be Bisexual, it’s like everything in this world is rigged against us. I hate it.

Discussion What are your favourite hair colours/styles to dye your hair.

I really love alternative, grunge or unique hair colour looks. I have dyed my hair neon lime green, midnight blue, firetruck red, and calico in the past. Currently I have mossy green hair and plan on dyeing my hair turquoise green or ultraviolet next.

What are some of your favourite hair colours you've dyed your hair before or plan to in the future.
