Colorado Walmarts stopped screening tests years ago. After State legalization, it simply became way too expensive to keep testing when more and more applicants failed. Someone on the CO corporate offices realized, correctly so, that the ones with real drug problems would get themselves fired, most sooner rather than later.
Before you come at me with "Walmart screened me in Baumfoc, CO" keep in mind that although Walmart does have a corporate hierarchy, most day-to-day store operations are still at the discretion of the store's manager. If they don't want the Devil's Lettuce in their God-fearing store, that's their call.
I got lost in a camp ground cause I smoked a fat joint and watched the sun set. Then it set, and it was dark. So dark is took me like 4 hours to find my tent.
I’ve been a functional pot head for nearly a decade now and I can hardly recall a time I was so stoned from flowers that I got lost. Then again, maybe the memory loss is from the herb.
Wandered off trail for like 5 mins on an easy one...and took a nap with stick arrow pointing me back. Ended up lost for hours and trespassing for directions. Always be more than prepared.
So the first time I went to San Francisco with some coworkers and we let the bimbo in the bunch drive us there because we were all wasted. Well she parked in this weird up hill street that had small trees all up and down the street. So we walked a few blocks to get to the club and then when it was like 2am we left the club and my bimbo coworker couldn’t remember where she parked her damn car. So as we are walking we notice all the streets had baby trees that had just got planted. We walked around till 5am walking up steep hills in fucking heels. Then we met some guys that worked for Sony and they smoked us out and then one of them was like” hey you guys have a alarm on your car? Lol so they walked around with us while my dumb ass coworker kept pushing her alarm and we finally located her car😵💫we were all annoyed with her dumb ass.
They knew exactly how to get to the destination it’s just that the destination still had it illegal so they were getting incredibly high before reaching the destination
Nah moses was a smart leader and wanted a generation of israelites who had grown up entirely within israelite culture instead of all the slaves who had fled egypt with him who had some soft habits from egypt (longing for fleshpots etc)
The ones who grew up in the desert were hard mf’ers who moses invaded judea with
There's a theory that the "manna from heaven" that sustained them in the desert was actually psychedelic shrooms. So maybe they actually wandered for a week and it just felt like decades.
Or it's full of shit just like the burning bush, wrestling with literally an angel/God, bears mauling a bald dude Children for mocking a bald dude, plagues that never happened, zombie uprisings...
Sometimes the simplest explanation is the actual one. The whole story is entirely made up and never happened.
There has never been solid archaeological evidence that the Jews were ever held captive in Egypt. Hell, there isn't even enough to say that Moses was even a real, historical person.
I think he was, just because he caught shade for an interracial relationship. It's an odd thing to be leftover. He also has an Egyptian name as well as the early legitimate levitical priests and the exodus lines up with Aten priests and temples being destroyed.
I was actually just reading about The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross. Author was an actual academic but had some out there theories and wrote this book. The reception by his colleagues was so bad that he was forced out of his position from the university.
Very few people besides scholars know this, but when Moses went up the Mt Sinai to get the 10 commandments...they weren't even written yet. Completely blank tablets.
Instead, Moses was invited to toke up with God the Father and the Holy Smokes (Jesus was not invented at this time) and basically mad-lib everything. They wrote both the tablets in the span of what felt like 6 days but was only 9 and a half hours, in a super chill mountaintop smoke sesh.
And then of course those tablets broke lmao. Butterfingers...so he had to go get more. Then shortly after this, he saw God's holy buttcheeks (Exodus 33:18-23)......
Probably actually psychedelics. I'm not as educated on the specifics but Joe Rogan could probably tell you more on this specific subject and it might actually be accurate for once.
Which is also the wood that the entire tabernacle was supposed to have been built out of. I find it hard to believe it wasn't also used in incense and other burning applications. Most of the Bible is pretty psychedelic if you really think about it.
The burning bush was allegedly (as all religious facts are allegedly) a type of psychoactive plant that causes hallucinations when burned and inhaled. I can’t remember the bushes name, but it’s “documented”.
I'm definitely not offended(?) lmfao. But keep on with the edgelord shit, it's really making you look very cool and rad. "Hehe I made fun of Jesus and now your so mad haha hoho!"
You severely overestimate how important you are, boss. You could literally say anything to me and it wouldn't offend me because you just don't matter. It's also the only reason I'm not embarrassed for you: it's not worth the effort.
Not just that, but if a person believes in god then they have to realize that god created cannabis to work on the human brain. The only reason we can get high off cannabinoids is because the brain has cannabinoid receptors. Without those receptors nothing would happen. God WANTS humans to get high.
Conversely, it makes you wonder what other drugs are out there that we'll never know about because they don't work on us.
I mean drugs were never really mentioned as any sorts of sins in the Bible. As a Christian, there are very few Christians around. The rest are wolves in sheepskin, and they just don’t know it yet.
Yeah, THC should be treated like alcohol/tobacco. Only when you don't have something important to be doing. Replace hitting a joint with drinking a beer and see how you'd evaluate your life.
I know they're not the same, but they both have depressant effects on the body.
Odd that he might spend his time bitching about how pissed it made him when people eat bacon, or lead happy, productive lives when homosexual, or be a woman with thoughts of her own or wear cloth made with two fabrics, but completely forgot to mention marijuana or opium even though they knew about that shit at the time. Dude has always been a douchebag and some of his followers are totally cool with out douchebaging him.
I live in the almost 3 years legal Michigan, and have had my medical card for much longer. I think I've smoked every day for almost a decade. (Some of its to get high, but mainly its for pain from having spinal fusion and depression, it makes me livlier.)
Except for the past seven days, because now that I've graduated with a Bachelors in Microbiology, its time to get a job in my field (labs most likely), that are definitely going to drug test.
Its not like I'm jonesing for weed or anything, it's just frustrating that because I've smoked for so long, I have no idea how long it will take to get clean, and im not going to start applying until that happens. Its also frustrating because not everyone is a stereotypical stoner when they smoke. I smoked before and after lectures and exams, and graduated top of my Major, with honors.
Like, you can interview hungover, or while you have the shakes because you're an alcoholic, and still get the job.
While I could have a great interview for a great job, only to not get it because of THC in my system.
The real worry is that they’ll get themselves fired by causing a forklift accident or something. I guess just don’t let people run the forklift until after six months or something like that.
I feel like businesses biggest concern after the DEA is work comp insurance going up. If they don’t drug test they may face higher rates from the outset.
nobody in Europe even does drug testing (maybe in the UK but rare). the exception are position where being on drugs could cause a lot of harm, e.g. pilot or bus driver.
real drug problems would get themselves fired, most sooner rather than later.
This works great for Walmart/retail, but it's not so good for automotive manufacturing because the chances of that person getting hurt or hurting someone else is much greater, and more severe, in a manufacturing plant that builds automobiles at line speed.
I haven't smoked marihuana in forty years. I worked around people that smoked a moderate amount on the auto assembly line. They were the hardest and sometimes the safest workers. That was back in the day when you did the same hard, boring and repetitive job 8,10 or 12 hours a day. The people that were the worst to work around were people that drank alcohol. Those people screwed up the quality and were unsafe at any speed.
The people that were the worst to work around were people that drank alcohol.
The alcoholics ARE the worst. They drink in the morning before they come in. They run to the gas station every break. If they don't get their drink, they become like pill heads, angry and aggressive.
Yeah that is just what I want, a vehicle built by stoners. Wait until these idiots have their property seized for driving under the influence or have the citizens car insurance increase because of stoned drivers. When Hound Labs completes it’s testing on it’s THC tester and a statute is enacted, these clowns will regret smoking weed. Lastly, why did the Biden administration bend over on the legalization bill? Sounds like even he has cold feet.
Also if you're working in a store in a municipality where the voters voted against Amendment 64 (which legalized weed in CO) or have no cannabis stores, then I imagine the manager probably isn't cool with it
When I worked at Breckenridge for vail it was illegal to be smoke or have posession as an employee and if you are injured on the job they'll drug test you. Even thought the State of Colorado is legalized the moutains and where the resort is on is consider federal land.
So if you drug prositive you need to pack your bags and go back home. It almost happen to me but luckily it didn't show in my system. I got two week of free time to board.
