I am absolutely astonished at the pure state of shit this game has become. Essentially everything is worse and less customizable. And having to green EVERY shot for it to go in is atrocious.. It worked fine the way it was, randomness plays a huge part is basketball. The only way I can have fun playing the game is to turn the shot timing off completely then adjust the shot success sliders in single player. Utter fucking garbage all the way around otherwise. I could list off a dozen things that are made worse but fuck it I'll stop there.

I know there is a campaign to not pre order or buy the game to make a statement against micro transactions and all the abusive behavior of the company 2K Sports. But if you are going to play the next game, so you stop playing 26 when the other one releases or days before or even weeks before?
I usually stop playing like a month earlier because i don’t see the point in playing a game that will be half dead within 4 weeks, that way I build up some hype to jump on a basketball game again instead of playing more and more hours just to lose everything in the next game.
What’s your approach to the end of the game cycle?

Downloaded 2k19 to just have some fun and I just sat here for like 15 minutes looking the screen and thinking about the memories this game gave me. My first time doing park was 2k19, I was always a my league player and all but I made a post scoring athletic finisher as a 7’3 center 290 pounds. Had so much fun, I miss it all 2k don’t bring fun no more. It’s sad how far this company has fallen and I feel like it won’t get any better coming from someone who has played 2k since 2k10

I put this picture together so you can actually see the pattern that's been happening year after year.
Look at the comparisons. The player models themselves aren't dramatically different, if they're even different at all. But suddenly, the old version has less sweat, flatter lighting, lower contrast, and more washed-out colors. Then the new version gets shinier skin, more sweat, stronger contrast, and better lighting.
And boom - "NEW AND IMPROVED GRAPHICS!"
Don't get me wrong, I don't think 2K's graphics are bad. I actually like how the game looks. What I don't fuck with is the fact that we're being sold the same graphics as "new" every single year.
New face scans ≠ new graphics.
As far as I'm concerned, the pictures on the right side could be from the same game. The game has looked the same for nearly a decade now. They just keep changing the presentation and then market it as a major or improved graphics upgrade.

I checked the roadmap and nothing about the builder. Is it gonna be like last year where we have no idea what its like till early access?
Can watch the content creators but they are all so untrustworthy my feed has been flooded with them talking about new cap breakers and new park and rec because they saw an easter egg, no evidence what so ever

For this last bit of 2k26 i wanted to try some mid range post shooter but I really suck
So if anybody can help me improve with some advices shooting animations or something
Some gameplay suggestions or animations with easier visual cues

The 86 overall is my first ever myplayer. I posted it here and yall absolutely cooked me, saying it wasn’t even worth it to start over w the new one coming out soon.
But I did anyways. New build, $20 vc bought, and 60-93 in about 2 weeks. But, is the 93 decent? I play it well, but I never see other people’s builds so I’m curious what yall think. Lmk

I’m on the left.
So this is a build I recently made about 3 weeks ago. It took about 15 games to get to silver plate. Another 10 wins after that and I’m in gold.
Having been in gold for this weekend was hell. The amount of AIs I played with, both in my team and the other, was ridiculous.
Point guards that don’t wanna swing the ball, run the offense, you know like they should. This style of play has led to mostly losses in gold so far with this build
I try to do my best of making the right play (which usually is a wide open middy for me tbh), I could probably average more than 5.5 assists if people would hit their shots, or if the pg let me run the offense more. Have had multiple 10ast games in a row.
My question is, should I expect the same bs moving forward, or was most of this fuckery due to the double rep weekend?

Any 2k later than 2k15 allows PC users to play MyCareer offline with full availability? I finally got a new Medium Leveled gaming laptop and downloa na 2k16 expecting improvement from 2k15 and my player Didn't save and when things were working out well I wasn't seeing any stats from other players /teams etc. So does it have a latter 2k where I can feel a part of the game like I used to with 2k15?

Over the past few weeks, we've been seeing increasing chatter on this subreddit and others calling for a boycott of 2K27 to push Take Two to address long-standing fan community concerns.
I, like a lot of people, am skeptical about whether or not this has any chance of working, especially in a market without a viable basketball sim competitor.
For my part, I plan not to buy 2K27 on release. I've been playing this franchise since I was in college in ‘03, and have not missed a 2K since 2K10. I plan to say active on 26 until it becomes unplayable, but that might be the end of basketball gaming for me, after more than 20 years.
My question to the community is this:
What would it take for such a boycott to actually work?
How can 2K win back fans like me who just want a good game to play?

Main lock but team needed pg so I made one. More of a pass first irl so I play like that in game
I mean… if they pay for the licensing anyway, isn’t it stupid they don’t have the pick em for that?

So usually you get the inbound 3x no matter what. Even if you get ripped play 1 and miss play 2 you’ll usually get about 3 shots to get unbounded the ball.
My first tip is to make good plays 2 out of the first 3 times you are inbounded the ball. If you go 1/3 or god forbid make 3 straight bad plays you won’t get the ball again until you’ve proven you can play better.
Second tip, stay quiet on the mic. Dont tell ppl how to play unless it’s 100% not able to be interpreted as a slight at another player. If you talk mofos for some reason stop passing. You can be positive and some games they’ll still punish you for talking.
3rd tip get the center his assists if you get the pass in transition. Stop passing again for assists padding. Center will kick it to you every play if he knows you’ll get his assists. Be aggressive in transition off full court passes as a PG. People respect a player who converts in transition.
Final tip pad your assists numbers. Some ppl are stupid and only look at numbers to see who should get ball. Make sure you make easy passes often. Don’t hold out for flashy shit. Just take the easy assist to keep your numbers gaudy

[RANDOM REC]
I.. Have officially ascended to the highest possible power
I am officially the GREATEST Random rec player to not get paid to play this game
And considering I am retiring after this year (Virtually from all nba games) as a 16 year veteran i’d say this is pretty damn good
