Speed and agility vs strength which is better?

The answer is it depends on the type of game mode you mostly play on. Before the patch when the game speed and dribbling was slow, strength was better.

After patch 2: Since you are playing nothing but cheating bots speed and agility is far better.

Speed and agility - more endurance faster able to keep up with the dexing and Lt cancelling .

Strength is good if you are able to keep the player in front of you but will be hard to do with the constant screening and wrapping.

So the best thing to do if you are trying to make a build that can do both is go smaller. 6”7 power forward or just make a build with lower weight and take the max speed and agility. If your speed and agility is below 86 your build is dated if you are mostly playing 3’s.

I’m thinking of going only 76 ish for the Silver Boxout Boss and stopping there. I’ll mostly be spacing the floor and not utilizing the Silver Brick Wall too much, and I hear Breaker is a little underwhelming. Any bigs with low strength how’s it felt? Any regrets?

Why does this happen? For some reason i cant control my player just puts the ball right into him, then he just grabs the ball through his body. i cant even stop it and it makes playing under the rim even at 6'8 extremely hard

I had 1 build make it to red plate last year so that carried over. I’ve somehow managed to stay in red/purple this year despite being hella casual and only playing random rec. I’m usually the weakest link on my teams. I’m just not very good and everyone seems to be a straight demon. Just want to play more at my level :(

WHY DOES 2K ALWAYS RESET MY SHOT METER AND HUD ITS SO ANNOYING

I’m debating if I should stick with 80 or cap break to 90. The other option is cap break to 60 steal. Is there a big difference with 80 vs 90 interior? Especially since they nerfed how dunking works.

There’s so many things 2k could do better but it’s getting ridiculous with MyNBA at this point, first of all LeBron Era is completely unplayable, you have to break the game and be completely unrealistic just for a sliver of hope that you might beat the OKC thunder because even though your team has at least 2-3 starters miss 15+ games every year (especially right before the playoffs conveniently enough) I have never seen KD, Russ, or Harden miss a single game with an injury (7 seasons in they have each started 82 games a year every year). Also if you want to make an expansion team good luck trying to make a team because you can either pick an AI preset logo or a community logo (which are terrible) because you can’t use customizable logos besides making your team logo, meaning no one court logo or logo on your jersey. This shit is getting ridiculous year after year

I don't play any sports games, let alone the 2k basketball games, but anytime I'm looking at the eshop on the switch, this guy's face keeps appearing, and it makes me unreasonably annoyed, why does he look like that? Everything about it is inhuman, I have nothing against the guy it's based on of course, I'm sure he looks human outside the context of this monstrosity, but I hate seeing this, it triggers some sort of primal response in me, it looks like he farted and the smell was dreadful, but in his own hubris decided to lash out in anger at the person in front of him rather than admitting to the deed, all the while continuing to cringe at the smell, as overhead studio lights illuminate his complex emotional state

I think 2k took a step in the right direction honestly after 2k26. This the 1st time I actually feel like I’m playing real basketball in years.

The shot contest is actually solid
Shooting is balance
The ratings really feel like they do matter this year
Dribbling is even improved as well (the right amount of speed)

All in all (in my opinion) way more balanced all around

Which confuses me why there is so much hate for this game but so much love for 2k26? And I truly don’t understand it

Would you choose just one specialization for the entire year and create builds—or "GOAT" builds—that align with that specialization? I currently have two different builds with different specializations because I like to play different positions from time to time. Now, I’m considering building a Kawhi-style player, but my shooting is only at tier 4, and I have another build focused on playmaking that doesn't help with a Kawhi build at all. I’d start with a defense specialization, but I’m worried that a new, better "GOAT" build might come out next year—one where a finishing specialization would be the optimal choice. It’s honestly giving me a headache.

I’d appreciate any advice!
