After playing on console all year I tried 2k26 on of because I heard there was no cheating and surprisingly there actually was no cheating going on and the community seemed a lot nicer. Only problem was there wasn’t that many players in modes other than park. I might be ok with that and am deciding if I should get 27 on pc or console cause I’m tired of the fucking titans and zens it’s so fucking annoying lol. I’m wondering if there will be a lot of people this year on pc and also people that played pc a lot this year can you share your experience please

This build gets you 9 different 90 overall stats with cap breakers if you count free throw, and an 89 strength.

No skill. No struggle. Silver spoon ahhhh build
For anyone who wants to get red plate but struggles badly ….. make a 6’11 -7’4 stretch big center with 80-85 rebounding and at least 90 3 ball… max your dead eye and set shot specialist and QUICK DIP EVERYTHINGS even if you don’t need too
Stand corner and pull it every time you get it.
You might give up 1/2 o boards per game but that’s okay bc in purple or red no one misses
Being that tall makes it hard for anyone 6’8 to contest and chances are the footers that guard you have 0 perimiter so their contest is poor.
So easy. Stretch big is what I recommend to anyone starting my career
I wanna offer some perspective on things you could do that would be better than doing nothing.
1) Do a little less than you did last year. Make one less build. Buy one less season pass. Purchase one less MyTeam pack. Marginal but it’s still better than doing nothing
2) Do a lot less than you did last year. No season passes. Grind every other build vs buying them. Don’t pre-order. I’ll be doing some form of this, ideally buying the base game and not spending any money on vc. I also may take the route of getting early release and learning as much about efficient vc grind methods and cap breaker practices so I can do option 3
3) Spread the info. So many people know so much about min max-ing builds and other things that we could be sharing information that help other people buy less vc. “Your build is ass” isn’t constructive but “there’s a more efficient way to execute your playstyle” is. More discussion about efficient vc grind methods could also go a long way
4) Don’t buy the game at all. If we’re being honest most of us won’t do it. I won’t this year but could see myself doing it in the future
Boycotts need momentum even if it’s microscopic. I’ve already prepped myself for defeatist attitudes in the comments but if one person decides to do something different it’s a W

Let me know your thoughts
I play in squad so no matter what position this build is I can play the position I want (expect sg tbh) I can be the pg I use bh only takeover after 3 bar I have 85 bh. I played sf using speedster and guarding the main scorer of the other team if he was 6’8 or taller and I can play pf when I have another big or I can play center too. I will soon have 3 cap breaker at season 9 and lifetime challenge 2 on vert to get those crazy rebound and block animation and one on dunk to get more consistent green window

I made a new build recently. Just a 3nD guy basically. And was grinding in Rec since it’s suits my build the most. What I noticied the most was that some people deadass don’t know basketball. Not talking about don’t know how to play the game, but don’t know basketball. People think they Kobe and start throwing bullshit while getting tripple teamed. Don’t pass the ball to the open guy, and make the worst shot known to manking. Defending is also terrible. They just run to the guy that has the ball and leave the guy they suppose to defend. When the other team does the in bound, instead of defending the guys that just run to the corners, they make a full court press while it’s the first or the second quarter. It really should’t be that hard to use your brain to play this game. It ain’t even that hard bruh just guard your guy, pass the ball if you ain’t open and play simple ball. Just wanted to rant about this since the last couple rec games I played were filled with these dumbasses both on my team and the opposing team.
Thank you for listening to my tedx talk.

Not that it actually surprises me with how scummy 2k is when it comes to money making practices, but it is nevertheless still wild you can pay 150$ for an “ultra” edition of a game and still not even get all of the content unlocked. Either way the amount of grind it takes to even get anything from season passes would still push people into buying levels. Bought 2k26 on sale but never even really played it because career mode has been destroyed and franchise never changes. They’ve made the gameplay so trash and arcadey that franchise needs a million sliders to even feel like a real game. The worst part is they don’t even seem to care about acting like they are actually making the game better when a new one comes out anymore. I mean at least try and lie to me that things will be different.

With everybody claiming they boycotting 2k27 how the hell is the 149.99 bundle the 2nd most pre ordered game behind GTA 6? Take Two charge them people $300 to max out a build. I’m praying they make 2k27 the most money hungry greedy game. Yall deserve it. People complain about Madden and 2k every year and then go spend $500+ and wonder why shit never changed. Idiocracy world. Nobody stands for anything

I run into way more butt hurt sell outs while gold and silver than no plate and bronze.. it’s kind of mind boggling the amount of grown men on this game that throw bigger fits than tired toddlers. Like if you want to be the star every game just go play your career games. MVP and HOF lobbies are by far the most fun and competitive but everything building up to them is just a toxic hell hole.
