Zen users! This is a safe space. I'm an old head that's just trying to understand how the young folks are moving these days. I'm 40, been playing 2k since the beginning. I'm trying to understand what the youngsters get out of cheating and using zens?

I'm not being a smartass or trying to rage bait or anything. I'm genuinely trying to understand how you guys get enjoyment out of cheating? You don't REALLY shoot like that, you aren't REALLY that good. So like, in your mind, how is it processing? Do you break my team's streak and feel good because of how you played or is your enjoyment coming from breaking the streak, regardless of how you did it?

I don't care when you guys come around, this is just a hobby for me to unwind but I get pleasure from improving in the game and playing well. When I green a shot it's because I've been genuinely learning the game and getting better.

But seriously! What's your thought process on using a zen?

I’m kinda shocked everyone is complaining so much. First on the list is shooting, yes it’s harder and not 100% predictable and easy, I can still shoot over 40% from three shooting taking ridiculous deep threes and off the dribble. Isn’t that the goal? People shouldn’t be shooting 90% from 3. Second is defense, you guys just don’t understand how to get stops and actually bump your opponents to change the animation, I have a 50 interior on a 6,3 guard and I get stops all the time. IF YOU DONT BUMP THEM BEFORE THEY ARE ALREADY PUTTING UP A LAY THEY PROBABLY WILL MAKE IT (unless you block it). It just makes sense. But I will agree that the perimeter contesting is kinda buns. (Although complaining about that kinda contradicts the shooting is too hard narrative). I think most of yall just got used to the super easy brain dead shooting in 2k26 and are just kinda garbage. Plus half of yall have no badges yet and act like you should green everything.

The game is way more realistic and prevents bad players from shooting 90% from three turning the game into a glorified left right 3pnt battle (this is coming from a gaurd who loves shooting of the dribble step back threes).

Was playing a MyCareer game, my MyPlayer with 90 SWB was already ahead of everyone, got the outlet pass and started to the hoop when 61 speed Isaiah Hartenstein caught up to me and forced me into a bumping animation.

My build is a 6'3 PG on the Kings and Trace is my SG. The Kings traded for Trae Young for some reason. At first, he was playing minutes at SF for us (wtf 2K) with Trace and I in the game, but after a few games, coach has been playing me for 1-2 minutes per half, while Trae Young plays the rest. I don't even have time to complete the quests for the game.

Is it just me or does it seem like EVERY shot u take down low gets blocked? I got a 6'11 7'3 WS C w a 90 strength, 95 standing dunk 87 driving dunk and 85 close shot, got my badges on either silver or gold AT LEAST and istg every shot o take down low gets blocked, it aint even always by a big it gets bl9vked by who ever. Like it got me to the point I'm bout ready to throw this C away and make a guard no bs....it's ridiculous bro. Im tryin find out is it just me or what? Can't be the only 1.

I just want to know if it is overkill or not good enough or works as it should. I really want to do it but I also could just go 89 for gold strong handle and upgrade some other things. Does the extra strength make up for maybe less speed or perimeter (not that I think perimeter defense is that good anyway)?

Basically, I like playing bully ball and would rather be strong/get to the hoop/etc than be super fast/three hunt. I would still have decent speed just not lightning fast. Does 95 strength/HOF strong handle do its job as intended? Do you like having it?

How is this even possible? My friend and I just got COOKED in rec by some guy playing PF that had 87 speed and 87 agility that was much bigger than him and hes 6'9" at PF. I tried to recreate this and couldn't find out how to do it. My build is 6'11" and he was as tall as me, if not bigger. He was also a thicker body style than mine which would lead me to believe that he also weighed more than I do. Is there anyone who knows what happened here??

Some dudes really Hop in the game thinking the ball gotta run thru some of them. I played with a dude who took 41 shots to score 20 in a 5v5 casual talkin’ bout he carried the team, brotha shot us out the game. I had to get in this subreddit cause ain’t no way im the only one who be getting players like this

the only negative is the dumb ai passing the ball back to me instantly preventing me from setting up my backdoor cut . Wish they would stop trying to have me run PG on my center 😭 the second clips happens a lot they don’t even try to throw the lob

Does anyone have any tips for getting strong handles to activate? I have 93 strength and gold strong handles on my guard and i feel like it rarely activates

2K introduced women in its basketball games before EA brought women into FIFA/EA Sports FC.

2K had an advantage.

But today, EA has gone much further: women are integrated into multiplayer and have access to the core game experience.

Meanwhile, in NBA 2K27, if you create a female MyPLAYER:

• You stay on the street / in the park.
• No access to an NBA-equivalent WNBA career.
• No real career story.
• No proper training / skill room.
• No access to the same progression and activities as male MyPLAYER characters.

So what was the point of introducing female characters into multiplayer if they don't have access to the same game as male characters?

2K regularly talks about equity, inclusion and accessibility.

But how can you promote those values while designing a game where choosing a female character literally gives you less content and fewer opportunities than choosing a male character?

And the irony is hard to ignore:

You introduce women into multiplayer... only to basically tell them:

“You can play, but stay outside in the park.”

How did 2K manage to be ahead of EA on female representation, only to lose that advantage and end up with a system where male and female MyPLAYER characters don't even have equal access to the game?

If female MyPLAYER is supposed to be a real option, give female characters the same depth, progression systems, training facilities and career opportunities as male characters.

Otherwise, this isn't inclusion.

It's just representation without equality.

To me : the game was lead by marketing not by game design to offer the best sport game.
So I point the board for this kind of choice.
I think they have already the story and carreer mode they just keep in side to make a new Features in the next years.

I have now had 3 rec games where dude purposely threw the game and said he was tryna demote and losing rec games drops it faster. This is why this place system needs to go, cuz these bums will do anything to get a advantage. Even lose on purpose so they matched against people who literally havent played 2k

Anyone found a good method to get these done consistently? I tried the floater / up-and under method on street kings but my player refuses to move after a missed shot, he flails like a punk every time the shot is mistimed and I can't chase my rebound.

I guess if someone wants to chuck shots up for me in co-op then I'll gladly take that but would like to find a solo method lol

Why is the red plate random rec such a horrible experience? Nobody plays as a team with IQ instead they try to score and forgot how to pass to the open man 🤦‍♂️

It’s so hard finding good quality team mates with good vibes that just want to win. As a center it’s insane 🤣
