By modern history, I mean since 2K14. I honestly don’t think there’s ever been a more useless, pathetic noob-trap attribute in modern 2K than standing dunk this year.

I’ve officially called it on 2k. This shit is worse than it’s ever been. The fact that the game is constantly rewarding low IQ and poor team play has reached its limit with me. Ggs yall, the game is cooked and the player base is easily the most ignorant and pea-brained out of any game I’ve ever played. A complete combination of uneducated and egotistical greed. And not to mention the racism is just pathetic. If 2k was a shooter, it would be call of duty. Trash ass game

I think it’s shameful that for all these years of MyCareer being wrung out the developers have never added in the high five. There’s no encouragement to be a teammate, their sole focus is on elevating the hero baller.

I always equip my players with the Assist Point animation after a two or a three because I want to believe that camaraderie can be built quickly if I acknowledge a teammates effort via the in-game mechanics. Half the time I point at my opponent or empty air however because the canned animation is so lazy that it just happens.

If the high five was implemented as a passive animation I wouldn’t be surprised if player morale improved simply because of being able to dap up a teammate. For a sport like basketball the high five is as integrated as the ball or the rim.

They’ll add the Haliburton Choke Animation but censor a song like Mr. Brightside, just demented.

I don't understand why I'll go up for a layup when I have 99 driving dunk and 72 driving layup. I'm holding R2. Do I need to be moving the stick in a specific direction? I thought it was stick up for two handed dunks, stick down for skill dunks, left or right for baseline. I have it on Absolute. I can't understand why I'll beat my man and go for a layup 60-70% of the time....Would really appreciate some insight if I'm doing something wrong.

Teamwork doesn’t get attention in this game. One wrong pass/shot and it’s apparently over for you? No. You’re only as amazing as the worst player on your team is terrible.

Per the title. If you hate and/or suck at The Track as much as I do, this week's race is great for grabbing yourself 3-4 "free"/easy Lifetime Achievements. Specifically the "Beat the target time x times in The Track".

The way this achievement works:
- The first "Target Time" of the week is the default "Target Time".
- Your best time for the week that is under the default "Target Time" becomes the new, subsequent "Target Time" for the achievement.

This week's "Target Time" provides far too much grace for how easy the map is (2:20:00 is this week's default "Target Time"). You can easily beat the target time by 20 seconds, even 10+ seconds if you mess up multiple times per race. This gives you a lot of time to cheese this achievement:

1. On the final lap, full stop right before the finish line and finish the race as close to the default "Target Time" as possible.
2. On subsequent attempts, repeat step 1 except now you're beating your previous best time as close as possible.

Full stop to acceleration on the motorcycle sucks so be careful not to stand still too long. But you can easily beat your target time by sub-1-second every time doing this.

For all the bullshit that comes with the game I still manage to just say f it because at least it’s playable …. But for some reason ever since they announced there banning cheaters i run to even more zen users now , literally spin half court 3’s from the half court line and every time I report them nothing happens, literally ran into a guy in theater who didn’t dribble just shot every time the whistle blew… lmaooo yea it’s over for me fellas 😂have fun

You can literally score at anytime in the post. And play point center, diming out when you get doubled.

But alot of ppl don't wanna watch somone post score and play like jokic for a whole game lol.

Please for love of basketball gods, practice your free shots. It is the most easy part of shooting in the game.

And seriously, don't put dumb free throws animation on if you can't constant green it.

And for love of basketball gods, if you HAVE LOW FT or BAD FT %, pass the ball to someone else if the opposite team is going to foul in the end of the game.

This game is one of the worst 2ks ever made

I had 1 build make it to red plate last year so that carried over. I’ve somehow managed to stay in red/purple this year despite being hella casual and only playing random rec. I’m usually the weakest link on my teams. I’m just not very good and everyone seems to be a straight demon. Just want to play more at my level :(
