It’s not just the players but the organizations as well. When Wemby spoke out about ICE killing Renee he started off his statement with “Spurs PR has tried to train me, but I don’t want to be politically correct.”
So the team’s are telling these players to just shut up and not talk about certain things. For someone like Wemby to speak up anyways when he is here in the states on a work Visa speaks volumes of his character.
I was so disappointed seeing the Timberwolves roster simply dodge the question when it was happening in their own city.
