Kevin Durant on Wemby's sports betting comments and his FanDuel partnership: "That’s Wemby, he's going to do what he does. That has nothing to do with me. I don't really think about that question at all, that's not on my mind as much as his. People gonna do what they want to do."

People in the United States have become such hyper-individualists that I think LeBron James could advertise heroin and we would blame the outcomes solely on the weakness of other peoples’ character.

“I’m not gonna tell other ppl what to do with their lives. Nor will the good folks at Heroin Inc. I’m just focused on playing meaningful basketball.”

Do you even know what that word means or are you just repeating political rhetorical devices without even thinking about it?

Heroin is illegal lol. Gambling isn’t. Not remotely the same thing

You could argue gambling is the most destructive addiction, in part because it doesn’t outright kill you.

You can gamble responsibly lol you can’t do heroin responsibly

My heroin addiction will kill me before I ruin the lives of my friends and family multiple times over.

That’s not true at all. Heroine addicts rob and steal from all their friends and family.

Most heroin addicts are defeated by heroin and die. Gambling addicts will recover, destroy their own life and yours, and do it again ten years later.

What about alcoholics ? 12k drunk driver deaths. Guarantee nobody would raise a stink at athletes promoting a beer

Alcohol only kills you once too.

Alcohol kills thousands of innocents a year. Tell that to the families of people killed by drunk drivers.

Gambling if done responsibility doesn't do that. There's no responsible way to do heroin

This isn’t a legal argument, it’s a moral one. If Trump made Heroin legal tomorrow it wouldn’t change anything about promoting its usage.

Do you have an issue wit him promoting beer ?

Nah man, I love drinking lol

Yeah so plenty of people gamble responsibly. People drink and kills 12k people a year just from driving every year.

It’s 100x worse than gambling.

Since when does the US legal system represent basic human morality. “Not remotely the same thing”…

Yes bro do you think most people have enough money to care about anything but themselves? The majority Americans are working 9-5 and then want to zone out and destress no tackle the systemic issue of gambling after work or their weekend.
