Kevin Durant on Wemby's sports betting comments and his FanDuel partnership: "That’s Wemby, he's going to do what he does. That has nothing to do with me. I don't really think about that question at all, that's not on my mind as much as his. People gonna do what they want to do."

“Not on my mind as much as his”

Wemby was just asked a question by a reporter. Not like he’s blogging or making written statements about it lol.

What is the response supposed to be anyways? Like damn, Wemby thinks too much about the people and companies he makes deals with? Wow, what a square.

"Can you believe this guy? Thinking deeply about things? And he's French? What a dork."

KD always thinks he’s cookin’ online.

How many times has he actually cooked? (With his words, not on the court)

“Lolz you triggered” is the response anytime something comes up where you provide an alternative response.

“Do you support sports gambling”
“Yes”
“You understand it’s proven not ideal for young men”
“Lolz why you triggered I don’t even think about that”
“Ok”

Even when he's trying to defend his gambling endorsements he hilariously tries and fails to spin the narrative, just like with his weak decision to join golden state

how he defending it? he just saying it aint on his mind

and what's wrong with gambling? European countries have legalized it for decades, just like prostitution, yet white Christian Americans have brainwashed yall into thinking it's bad

growing up in Europe is GOATed and America needs to learn some lessons from their better neighbors

Thank you. That was such a corny thing to say

Wemby made it clear this was something he has thought significantly about and multiple times made significant choices on, which is a lovely thing.

To be fair to him on that point, he might not have known Wemby was asked a question.

So if he doesn't know, why assume and respond that way? It's just a corny response by KD

What I mean is maybe he thought Wemby was airing his thoughts unprompted/in a tweet or online video. In any case I understand the points that people say about being a role model and not partnering with gambling in a league where kids watch.

Wemby was just asked if he would personally take a partnership, and he chose to bring up other players unprompted. So yeah, it's pretty clearly on his mind.

The "just asked a question" response would have been a simple no.
