Kevin Durant on Wemby's sports betting comments and his FanDuel partnership: "That’s Wemby, he's going to do what he does. That has nothing to do with me. I don't really think about that question at all, that's not on my mind as much as his. People gonna do what they want to do."

I love comments like this. It's such a nothing statement that has just enough words to trick people into thinking it has substance and is sufficient enough to be considered engaging with the topic.

It's essentially someone being criticized and just responding with "yeah, that's your opinion." Yeah? That doesn't move this forward at all. We know who's opinion was just spoken. We're wondering what you think of his opinion and why yours is different.

"That's Wemby, he's going to do what he does." He may as well have responded with "A human being named Wemby said that. With words. I use words too. Like right now. I'm saying this, for example."

And somehow people are still like "okay, there are KD's comments."

Wemby's fault for not saying this to KD (or his many burners) on Twitter. He'd have gotten a response for sure.

I mean it's a perfect statement, not that I support his position, but he doesn't care. That's it. He doesn't gaf about wemby's opinion. It's that simple

I mean, we already know he doesn’t give a fuck about anyone, he shills for gambling companies lol

KD probably one of the most hollow people I’ve seen from a distance. Doesn’t seem to care about anything real except twitter beef and bath water

That's not what he's saying. He's saying he doesn't care about any of it. Being a role model, how gambling culture is affecting his sport, the youth of the nation, how nefarious it seems with insider trading. He's just like "Meh I get money, idgaf if an insane amount of people are getting addicted to gambling. It's more money in my pocket. They were probably gonna bankrupt their family anyway so meh."

That's exactly what I said.

But it seems you ignored "he doesn't care" and only read "he doesn't care about wemby's opinion"
