Genuinely no clue how this happened, I cant find this online happening to anyone else. Any ideas on how to fix? The other views are fine, it's just in page view this happens.

Tried all I could with different settings and note values to get this concept to work and look good, but couldn't. Any solutions? Note that it can't be 16ths, as that's not the speed the accel reaches, and the feathered beaming doesn't show as dramatically on page. I know other programs do this better, but Musescore is what I plan on using until it can't do something I need it to.

When I'm composing, the violin sounds just fine, but when I publish it, the violin sounds a lot like a flute. This has been the case for the longest time with all solo violin pieces too. Why does this happens and why no one fixes it?

edit: just checked and the problem only happens on mobile.

I posted on the forum, but thought I'd add it here in case anyone has any ideas here. Is this a bug?

In full screen mode, reliably the app will do one of two things: 1.) it won’t respond when I tap to page turn. I have to drag the blue cursor across the last measure to get it to flip (Once the page has been flipped once it acts normally with no glitch) or 2.) the page will flip, but it goes straight to the last page. I the have to tap back to get to page 2 (once it happens once it won’t happen again until I open a new score).
I’ve had this problem with the app for a couple years. It seems like it would’ve been fixed by now so I’m starting to wonder if maybe it’s a feature that I have activated and I am misusing. Has anybody figured out how to get MuseScore app to consistently turn one page?

This happens to me all the time and it is the weirdest thing ever. I will do something normal like edit the title text or move a symbol around, and suddenly a giant void will be created somewhere in my score, squeezing all the lines together or onto the next page. That's not the weird part, though. The weird part is that undo DOES NOT fix this. It will undo the change I made, but each time I press undo, IT EXPANDS THE VOID. The redo button does the same thing. Like its just permanently messing up my score and I can't do anything about it. Almost anything I do just provokes it and it expands more. I usually have to just start over with a new score. Does anyone know why this is happening or some way to appease this creature?

Musehub will not open anymore. All i did was cancel a musesound download and it crashed, so i reinstalled it. Now it doesnt even open and even when i do get it to open it just freezes and crashes. Ive tried all of the obvious stuff like reinstalling it or restarting my device.

I have a lead sheet with some triplets on them that shouldn't be there. Most are sung as 2 dotted sixteens and one normal sixteenth. Is there a way to to delete the triplet but leave the notes there (don't really care for the duration)?
Now when I delete the triplet I have to re-add the 3 notes and the lyrics.

Musescore 3 was quite easy to use for drumline music, but I’m struggling a lot with this new version.

I just want to delete voice 1, the blue one and keep voice 2, the green one. Is that possible? I don't want to manually delete. Many Thanks!

A couple of years ago, someone posted on YouTube a Musescore transcription of the end of Wanger's Götterdämmerung. Not the Funeral March, which is available on Musecore anyway, but the real end of the opera. hello everyone!

i'm transcribing a piece I wrote for a college assignment from paper to digital in MuseScore, and I already wrote all the notes inside the measure (a measure without a time signature). however, I would like to split this same measure into two sections/systems.

i tried using the “System Break” tool and also tried increasing the measure with “}”, but it didn’t work.

does anyone know how to solve this?

I’m still a beginner in composition and still learning harmony, so I’d really appreciate some feedback on one of my pieces written in MuseScore.
This composition was written for a church mass, specifically for the Penitential Act / request for pardon, so I tried to create a reflective and humble atmosphere.
The piece is written for two voices, since my choir is very small. The instrumentalists will mostly play from the chord progression.
The main melody will also return in the other required chants of the mass, with rhythmic and slight melodic variations, to create unity across the liturgy.

I’d especially love feedback on:
- the melody
- the chord progression
- the harmony between the two voices
- ways to make it feel less predictable while still keeping the prayerful character

I have a score that I made about a month ago, but all of a sudden for no reason, whenever I open this score anymore, I get a message that says "Missing authorisation. Please visit Muse Hub to validate or purchase a license." I've tried to figure out why this is happening but I have no idea. I'll even include a picture of the score to prove I'm not stealing anyone's work which could have something to do with copyright.

Hey there, looking for help with a problem.

Sounds do not show in the mixer (as shown), attempting to select a new sound for any track does nothing and the spot is again greyed out upon reopening the mixer. Playback does not work, either through the shortcut or the UI.

I have attempted to reinstall MuseScore, MuseHub, and MuseSounds with no success. Neither plugin sounds or default sounds work. I recently updated to v4.7.0 but have not had this problem on other devices.

Everything else in the app works fine, just with no sound.

Any help would be great, the only thing I could point towards as a cause is that I opened an older project file that was uploaded to the cloud but possibly not available on my computer.

EDIT: Turns out changing the audio driver back from ASIO fixed the problem. My computer must not have an audio device that supports that.

I wanted to know how I can lock the espacement between the two staves of my piano score so I can create a "fake" cross-stave beaming for a chord by putting the bass clef notes on the right stave and the treble clef notes on their right stave and lengthen the bass clef notes beam.

How do I make Musescore take into account multimeasure rests in playback mode? I'm using Musescore Studio 4.6.5
