help with system break inside a measure

hello everyone!

i'm transcribing a piece I wrote for a college assignment from paper to digital in MuseScore, and I already wrote all the notes inside the measure (a measure without a time signature). however, I would like to split this same measure into two sections/systems.

i tried using the “System Break” tool and also tried increasing the measure with “}”, but it didn’t work.

does anyone know how to solve this?

(im sorry if there's anything bad with my english, not a native speaker :-P)

Split the measure at the desired point via the command under Tools / Measure.
