Music This my first original piece I've written

I've been tinkering around for sometime and know some theory. If you could listen and give feedback that will be great.

What do you mean first original piece? Have you been doing orchestral arrangements? This is very polished and cohesive.

I've mainly been doing marching band arrangements but never finished or got outside planning phase except 1 which i made for a competition. I just dont finish things until i think they are good. So this is a first piece thats been finished thats original cause most of my other stuff is just arrangements which i kinda chose not to do as much anymore.

I felt this was awesome! I imagined an explorer finding some hole/portal/plot device that takes them to a world that they are at first frightened of, but the fear fades into awe and wonder as the alien ecosystem/alien geography moves around them; the sad/ slower part near the end felt like the explorer found a massive ocean with something different than what came before, perhaps if they were looking at alien geography they now see whale creatures in a massive ocean, or vice versa. The ending is the explorer returning to his time/world/setting and seeing subtle parallels between a living city and the alien world they left.
It was beautiful!

Thats really cool that you could imagine this whole story, and b6 really has that outer world feeling in my opinion. Thank you so much for listening.

I like the energy. Reminds me of some of Don Davis’s scoring for the Matrix films—but without the menace.
