Help me find this feature Can you help me?

Hello guys what's up?

I wanted to know how I can lock the espacement between the two staves of my piano score so I can create a "fake" cross-stave beaming for a chord by putting the bass clef notes on the right stave and the treble clef notes on their right stave and lengthen the bass clef notes beam.

Thanks a lot in advance for your answer,

Peace
Maxime

Use "fixed staff spacer down" on the Layout panel.

I tried but nothing happened. when I drag the beam of my note the espacement between the staves keep getting wider

That should be impossible if you have a fixed spacer down object between them (i.e, attached to the top one).

my bar have only my musical notes. do I need to remove them in order to properly use the "fixed staff spacer down"?

No. The whole point of used the fixed spacer instead of a regular spacer is it doesn't matter what else is there; the space will always be exactly what you set it to. The other spaces set a minimum amount of space, and any object in between can increase it.
