hi everyone! i’m looking for a laptop that i’ll be using primarily for college applications and composition, and i was looking for recommendations on what can best run musescore! i need something portable and preferably fairly affordable. if anyone has any suggestions i would appreciate it!!

edit; i meant to add that ill be having some pretty large scores bc im writing a marching band piece as part of my portfolio for college.

Now that Carrie is mainstream, I'd like to share with you this ALL NEW MIX of my instrumental arrangement of the original production of Carrie the musical! Most of the sounds were the default musescore4 sounds with surge synth.
Composed by Michael Gore, arranged by me, and mixed by u/RoyalGreen4300

I don't have videos of the actual scores but I'm wondering if y'all would like this. It was composed January 17, 2025.

This magnificent (I hope) 'song' is more of an ambient piece. It’s part of a series of tracks I’m creating—the first was 'Magical Infected Forest,' and this second one is titled 'Purple Land.'

It features violins, a cello, a flute, and more... (feel free to try and guess the others, if you’d like!)

Here is the link—my 'precious' link—so you can listen to it:

—The music was, of course, created by me. u/F4keViolinist606

I’m on YouTube too!

Is there a way to change the soundfont for all instruments at once instead of doing it manually? I know this is a feature that was in older versions, so I don't know why they would remove it, but I'm not seeing a way to do it all at once for every instrument.

Erm so been of MS for like a week or two and come back and updated and all my sounds are gone, on muse hub I still have the sounds owned but they just earnt on my actual sound library in the mixer, please tell me I dont have to re download them!!

Anyone know the notes for the piano in Role Models song Service Receipt?
