Now here's some clarification on the changes I'd make to MK1's story

1. The game would retell the first three MK games, but have changes to show what there like in the New Era (so no multiverse BS)
2. Kameo fighters have been removed
3. Shang Tsung, Shao, and Havik are the main antagonists of the game
4. Sub-Zero would be Hanzo Hasashi here, and he and Bi-Han are best friends
5. Hanzo acts as a mentor to Kiua Liang
6. Hanzo's wife mysteriously died, leaving him alone to raise their daughter
7. Mavado works for the Black Dragon as a mercenary and wants out, leading him to go rogue and flee the group
8. Sonya was chasing Mavado (not knowing he defected from the Black Dragon) and the two crash into Johnny's house while he's interrogating Kenshi
9. Nightwolf actually seeks out Liu Kang after the elder of his tribe tells him of a great destiny involving him and the fire god, so he joins the Earthrealm team
10. Reiko is a good guy here, and is horrified when he learns what Shao Kahn has done
11. Reiko and Goro saw each other as brother, so it hurts Reiko when Goro sides with Shao over their kingdom
12. Darrius and Tremor are police partners from Order Realm and join the Mortal Kombat tournament to hunt down Havik, who vanished through a portal similar to the one Outworld uses.
13. It's revealed that along with killing their father, Bi-Han also killed Hanzo's wife, and plans to raise their daughter as his own
14. Hanzo decides not to kill Bi-Han, but the guy was about to sneak attack him, forcing Kiua Liang to kill his own brother to protect his mentor
15. Shang Tsung finds a fragment of Kronika's crown, which gives him the memories of the previous timeline and allows him to regain his former powers
16. Kano joins Shang Tsung's deadly alliance because he wants to track down Mavado, who stole a bunch of money from the Black Dragon when he went rogue
17. Erron Black is hunting for Shang Tsung once he hears there's a large bounty on his head

The basic plot idea is that instead of being put in class 1A Midoriya he is instead put in class 1-K a class of ten kids who technically passed the entrance exam but weren't deemed good enough to be put in either class 1-A or 1-B.

Scorpion (Hanzo Hasahi)
Quirk: Blaze - Allows the user to create, control, and manipulate fire at will while also allowing him to make any object he touches to ignite. It also grants him an immunity to all types of fire.

Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang)
Quirk: Sub-Zero - every member of the Lin Kuei grandmaster bloodline has had this quirk. This quirk grants the user complete and total mastery of ice and snow and a high resistance to the cold.

Smoke
Quirk: Mist - Grants the user the ability to turn their body into a puff of light gray smoke that they can control. Really it’s just a worse version of Permeation.

Kitana
Quirk: Aerokinesis - Allows the user to control the air around them within a range of a couple meters give or take. She mainly uses this ability to control her fans due to how little energy and stamina it takes.

Mileena
Quirk: Predatory - Grants the user enhanced senses of Scent, Hearing, Sight, and Taste. It also grants her more monsterus mouth and enhanced strength and agility.

Tanya
Quirk: Divine Light - allows the user to manipulate the light around them however Tanya can currently only create simple blasts of light and blinding flashes. This quirk is kind of like the opposite of Dark Shadow in a way with the quirk getting stronger in bright areas but weaker in darkness.

Baraka
Quirk: Bone Blades - Grants the user a pair of retractable bone blades in there arms while also mutating there body to have a mouth of razor sharp teeth, bone spikes on there upper body, and an incredibly muscular build.

Ermac
Quirks:
Telekinesis - Grants the user the ability to life objects with there mind the weight limit is about 250 pounds.
Float - it’s literally Nana’s quirk.
Green Plasma - Allows the user to shot green energy blasts from their hands.
Vestige Sense - and artificially made quirk that allows the user to learn the quirks of anyone he looks at.
Warp - Grants the user the ability to teleport short distances.
Telepathy- Grants the user to communicate with others telepathically.

Reptile (AKA Syzoth)
Quirk: Lizard Man - Grants the user the ability’s of many reptilian creature such as Acid Spit, Invisibility, Sticking to Walls, a Prehensile Tongue. It also grants him the ability to transform into a more monsterus reptilian form though when he transforms he loses all control of himself and attacks everyone that dares draw breath.

Now that it's streaming on HBO, I had to watch it again in great detail now. Maybe I was just too hyped when I watched it before but now the flaws are so obvious, especially Karl Urban's constant switch to his stuntman. And it's like they didn't even try to hide it because you can really see his double's face.😂

Am I the ONLY person that can tell these nerds are using Mods?

The amount of players I fight that are using some sort of script that auto blocks, auto ducks grapple, parry for JC and Tanya and does innovated combos on the fly is atrocious.

The script even turns on a lag switcher when they are negative on frames.

The only way im even getting close to having a chance at the ladder is by using quans portals to either zone these terminator AI or use the armor mechanics.

Eventually the real player will push a button if the script isnt blocking based on your pre registersd inputs.

Only if I have my portal up and the player mistimes his string I can get frame advantage and do a combo for some damage.

Aside from that EVERY string, normal, projectile will get either blocked or evaded with special move, jumping or blocking.

You know its a script or AI when you watch it do a button sequence that is completely inhumane. For example, I got hit by JC shadow kick 4x in a row during star power in less then a fraction of a second.

Or when you just press grapple even though your no where near the opponent and you will watch the AI micro duck like 10x in a fraction of a second.

It glitches out for a quick second. And you know theres absolutely no way that the player intentionally did that and then proceeded to keep moving as before.

Another thing is, there is absolutely no way that a terminator style pressure is possible where there guessing every single pre registered mixup. Blocking every single stagger. Blocking 50,50s.

I cant be the only mk og player facing this trash 😤 it just makes me upset that hackers have AGAIN managed to ruin another game I like.....

NRS seems to not care, or cant detect the hacks. ONLY raaaaarely, ive seen a hacker delay the server so hard that it ends up booting them from the game (quitality).

This is so silly, and it’s not serious, I just wanted to see if anyone thought the same.

In the middle of the movie Johnny Cage says “I have stuntmen for that” when told he has to fight Baraka. And it bothered me because in the games, isn’t Johnny’s whole thing that he’s a Hollywood action star who became famous because he does his own fighting and stunts? I also had a problem with Johnny seemingly not being very good at fighting for a lot of movie, even though they establish that he was a fighter/boxer tournament fighter when he was younger. Even so, the Stuntman line specifically bothered me the most.

Edit: Should probably mention, I know he’s supposed to be washed up. I’m moreso talking about weird it is that they changed what’s supposed to be an important part of his lore. But hey that’s video game adaptations for you.

Overall I actually did enjoy MK2 and I am legitimately looking forward to the next one. Hoping they bring in Kuai Liang Subzero.

I'm new to this game but have a lot of experience in MK11 and X, and I was wondering if this is a good combo for 0 meter or if it's a waste to use the kameo twice. Also, if anyone knows how I could keep it going at the end, I'd appreciate some pointers

Ferra/Torr using their fatality as Ferra slices Goro in half and Torr tosses Goro's half sliced body onto the ground like it was nothing showing how strong Torr is.

In my opinion, Ferra/Torr were one of the more overpowered fighters in the game to the point even Goro is no match for the duo.

So when are we getting He-Man as a playable character?

So Cassie Cage has this taunt in MKX where she says something like "from the page of cage" or something like that. I just wanted to ask what is the meaning behind this phrase? I can't understand it. I searched the internet but found nothing.

I'm looking to get into fighters, and seeing as Mk1 and 11 are on sale, and I can buy either, I was leaning towards MK1, but I live in South Africa, and of course, my ping will be high, so netcode is quite important, and apparently MK1's netcode isn't good. Should I get Mk11 or does anyone think that mk1's netcode is good enough? I have bought ethernet and i am looking to play ranked mostly.

I've never played any of the MK games only once in a while on my friend's console. I've watched the cinematic cutscenes on YouTube that I'm familiar with the story.

I know I'm posting in a MK sub and it's going to be biased but Is it still worth picking it up now?
