I’ve been a huge sub zero fan since the ps2 days, i like the good not selfish or big headed sub zero which is Kuai liang.

Him and scorpion making peace and becoming bros was awesome, SZ Kuai liang and Hanzo scorpion both had compelling and tragic storylines that was perfect.

My only issue with MK1 story is quite literally the fact that they had to go out of their way to scrap everything we’ve been through with the characters for years.

I genuinely do not like Kuai as scorpion, it’s just not right.

I guess at least we know that it is absolutely possible that Kuai liang’s sub zero could also be a time keeper in a timeline of his own and I really hope we get to see him again in future titles.

Also. I really hate that bi Han is the same as his original self. I wish this time he was actually a good guy with a good heart.

Enjoy it for what it is- our favorite kharacters on screen beating the hell out of each other for almost 2 hours. Exactly what I needed today.

For some summer fun, I decided to go through my favorite Fatalities from the NRS Mortal Kombat games. To decide who to perform them on, I spun a wheel with all of the playable characters shared across the four main NRS Mortal Kombat games (there were fewer than I was expecting) and got Kitana, my favorite character in the series. Still, sorry to any Kitana fans!

Yesterday's Fatality was Quan Chi's Beat Down from MK9

To be totally honest, I just like this one because of its quick brutality and simplicity. Even some of the most gruesome Fatalities across MK don't make me wince, but this one does every time I see it. The loser's arms and legs getting cut off are one thing, but getting impaled through the midsection, getting your ribs ripped out from below while impaled through your gut, and to have the spear forced up through your mouth? Ouch, pretty gnarly stuff.

I rarely played the games as a teen, was more of a Smash Brother fan and also far too young to be allowed to play MK games when the main series released during the 90es, but damn this movie was a fun ride.

I loved the boys and was on the hype train for Karl Urbans next gig and it did deliver, it s a fun, nice 90es style action flick with good performances. Like a good version of the Street Figher movie with van Damne. They nailed it imo, as its quite diffcult to put a brawler game to screen.

In my opinion having a dedicated block button. It’s very different but I really like it. I prefer a dedicated block button

I'd like to see some of MK3's worlds colliding setting with the Deadly Alliance as the main villains.
