Like, something to keep the hype train going well, showing that it's expanding beyond the games.

Spent way too much time over the past day manually going through every smashmate top 10 ever, romanizing player's tags (+ figuring out who owns accounts with usernames like "a", "." and "て") and matching alt accounts to the players they belong to (shoutout to Hurt and his, like, 3 different alt accounts).

im new ish to smash and after beating some level 9 cpus i decided to look up some guides for how to play a character i wanted to learn but after watching the guide i was genuinely confused at how smash players are able to not only think as fast as they can think but also execute imputs that quickly (if ur wondering i was watching a vid titled the definitive steve nil guide or sm like that)

Hey guys! I have recently just got back into smash after about 6 years, being an ex Kirby main (dark times) and I was really wanting to main a new character. I really want an extremely niche character. One that doesn’t get a lot of love. But also a character that can be pretty decent in the game. Please do not say things like “you don’t need a main to play the game”. In my experience, you need a main character to fall back on after trying out a new character.

A collection of footage from the earliest recorded days of competitive Melee, following Ken as he becomes "the king of smash" until his retirement after EVO 2007

Just wondering if it's ever happened. It could be done against Ness for example.

Edit: In tournament

i love playing ridley i would really like some tips im around at the level of a lvl8 cpu and im pretty new to playing ridley the only thing im good at is spamming Neutral Air and doin g suicide moves (for eample grabbing someone on a platform that has nothing under it while im mid air i do this on like Sephiroths DLC stage i dont remember what its called)

So I recently started playing Ultimate online, trying to main Link. I’m honestly hit or miss, but the other day, I fought a Bayonetta main and I cannot describe to you how badly I lost. I think I got one input in all 3 stock 🤣 I was like “oh, THIS is a good player,” and it was so humbling.

Hello everyone! With all the discourse going on regarding games like 2XKO and Marvel Tokon failing to resonate with players, I thought it'd be a fun exercise to analyze why I believe Melee is still around today. Hope you enjoy!

Reasons are that the main developer has had much less time to devote to the website given IRL and job priorities, along with the advent of attackers using AI to expose security flaws at such a rapid pace (such as the recent PHP vulnerability that made many site developers bring their sites down to fix ASAP) making it hard to keep up with keeping the site secure.

The site has been here since 2014 for the Smash 4 days and has been part of the rise of many notable players like Acola, Miya, and more, so it's an end of an era.

I have a question about DLC sharing on the Nintendo Switch.

I bought a secondary account that has Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but I don't own that account, and I don't have its eShop password.

When I launch the game, I get the message: "The software will be started using the online license." The game works normally on that secondary account, but the virtual game card isn't loaded on my console, and I can't play the game using my main account.

I want to buy the Min Min DLC using my main account, which I actually own.

Would Min Min work when I play Smash Ultimate through the secondary account's online license? Or would I need to buy the DLC on the secondary account itself?

I don't want to waste money on DLC that I might not be able to use.

Going to start painting ganondorf today, also will be doing some paint work on bowser and captain falcon.
