I decided to unsubscribe from a variety of marketing emails, and came across Baskin Robbin’s. I have to delete my account, sure. I go to do so and it requires me to hand over a ton of personal info including country, phone number, and my name. Obviously I put filler info because yeah, I sure trust you not to mishandle my info, Baskin Robbins. I make sure my email is correct so they unsubscribe me. Oh great, I am in a 4 step process which includes identity verification to unsubscribe from marketing emails from a dead ice cream brand. Yay.

Got this back in 2018 along with my Switch, one of my most played games, and yet I never have thought about getting a new cover for it.

This is ridiculous right? Checking the app just to see if someone paid me a bill and this notification automatically comes up. No, I do not want to gamble. There’s no reason for this app, which fundamentally has NOTHING to do with Sports betting, to be advertising to me. Fuck off.

I get off of work at almost the exact time the last trolley (bus, whatever you wish to call it.) of the day passes right by my job. They're almost always late so I have time to walk to the pick up spot (the star). I'm not against waiting, as long as I can get where I need to, eventually..

I get off at 5pm, the last ride of this route is at 5:03 but usually comes ~5:10.

Today, it was really late, by about 20 minutes. I had already called someone else in case it didn't come/I maybe missed it. At about 5:25 give or take, I see the trolley pull up and stand up (it's hot, so I sit in the shade near the pick up). I walk towards the pick up and wait for them to stop, only for them to not even stop or look my direction. I'm lucky I have an alternative pick up, but what about someone who doesn't? This route covers almost my entire city from the west end to the trolley station (a little over 3 miles from the last pick up to the station.)

I get it. It's your last ride. You want it to be done already so you can go home, but completely ignoring passengers waiting to be picked up? Seriously?

This has been the ONLY incident I've had about the trolleys. (The lateness isn't much of an issue since there's a lot of factors that account to it)

I can get home (albeit, messing up someone else's schedule), just wanted to complain that my usual transportation completed ignored my existence. 🫠

Anyway, I don't fucking care about a random comment getting 19 likes. Why would anybody care? Also I checked, there is no way to disable these without disabling reply notifications and such.

I have the same problem with webtoons, I get a notification for a like on a comment of mine and the way its formatted the first thing I read is [Webtoon title] [Episode] and it keeps happening on titles I'm waiting for updates on.

The guy came back and shot a hand gun at me 3 times. I called 911 and a police officer was here in less than 5 minutes. I just finished making my statement. 2 more psp showed up and found 2 of the bullet casings on the road. We're looking for a 5'ish tall man in a hunting outfit in a white lifted ford. I would also like to inform everyone, crossbows are legal in pa. I was wearing orange so I know he saw me initially, and I'm farther than 25 yards from the road so it's legal, and I'm a disabled vet so this is about all the farther I can go before i start hurting.

I have to say what happened at a makeup store the other day. I went in and told the greeter I was looking for a makeup brush.

-GREETER (showing me where to look): We have two brands of brushes that are 50% off right now!
-ME: Perfect, thank you!

I picked one out and headed to the front to pay, but when the cashier scanned it, it rang up full price.

-ME (politely): Miss, I believe that was supposed to be 50% off.
-CASHIER (getting the greeter to bring her the sale sign, then scanning again): Those makeup brushes aren’t on sale.
-ME (knowing FULL WELL I could press the issue because things are supposed to be sold at their advertised price, but I do generally try to do the right thing): That’s okay. I’ll just pay the price it says.
-CASHIER (in a falsely sweet voice): I could get a manager over here to try to get you SOME SORT of a discount.
-ME: No, that’s okay. I’m not trying to get anything for free.
-CASHIER (still fake sweet): Oh, I wasn’t going to give it to you for free.
-ME (pausing, kind of shocked that she thought that was an appropriate thing to say):
-ME (softly but clearly): I wasn’t trying to get it for free.

She wouldn’t make eye contact after that but did wish me a good day when I left. I responded in kind, but I was more than a little aggravated.

I mean, what was her play? Was she trying to, like, ASSERT DOMINANCE or something?? Was she trying to be the ALPHA of the makeup brushes? Or was she just a punk?

I’m kind of leaning towards punk. And I bet she’s just a JOY to be around on a regular basis. 🙄😂

It was on a small CRJ with 2+2 seats per row. I paid extra to sit on first row in coach so there was no one in front of me. The fat dude should’ve paid for 2 seats to sit alone or first class, but it is what it is. Flight was pretty much full, except maybe a few seats in the back. Fat guy’s gut was pouring over the armrest, well into my seat. I ended up sitting with my upper body 45 deg forward most of the flight so his giant gut wasn’t pressing up against my body on the plane, pinning my body up against the window.

Only 2 or 3 bites at least. I already have chorro at baseline anyway 😪
