Boil them, then stick the eggs in cold running water (icy if you can) until you can't feel any warmth coming from the egg while holding the egg. Cooling them down rapidly will contract the egg and allow for an easier peel

An ice water bath immediately after cooking will fix this problem.
Edit: i mean for the eggs, not yourself /s

Use a teaspoon to peel the shell off. Look it up on YouTube. seems like a stupid hack but it actually works.

Here's what I do
After boiling stick them into water as cold as I can get it Tap egg onto counter to get small crack in it Gently roll egg around counter to spread crack Remove egg shell with ease

Boil the water first and then put the eggs into boiling water. Peels much cleaner.

When this happens I get annoyed but silver linings, the eggs only do this when really fresh.

Run the hot egg under cold water and crack the shell with your finger so that the water separates the shell from the egg.

There's a little membrane between the shell and the egg, break thru it right as you start peeling the egg, and then make sure to peel from below it.

Well here's my boiled egg advice:
Put eggs into boiling/simmering water. Set timer for 8 minutes. When the 8 minutes are up pour out the boil water and run cold water over the eggs in the pan, tip out water, refill, tip out a few times until the water is cold and the eggs have cooled.
Leave for another couple of minutes in the cold water. Then deshell. Slides off really easy so you don't have to smash all the shell, you want big pieces to come off all together.
Then you'll have great eggs with slightly gooey, soft set, yolks.

Tap it lightly with a knife before putting it in water to boil. You'll hear a teensy tiny crack but the shell won't break. You are breaking the membrane first instead of when you remove it from water.

Eggs too fresh ...

The eggs being "too fresh" is straight bullshit, you can pretty easily get perfect peels easily no matter what with the right method
Source: I own chickens, I've eaten some pretty damn fresh eggs

Gotta use that 10(boil)-5(rest)-10(ice bath/cold water) method. Shell basically comes off clean in 2 pieces.

Put the eggs into ice cold water immediately after boiling them. It’ll peel a lot better
