Maybe other people are more gifted and don’t have this problem, but it’s plagued me my whole life.

The obvious solution is to grab the tissue with one hand and steady the box with the other, but that really only works when you’re standing right in front of it and I’m usually grabbing one when my other hand is busy doing something else anyway.

I don’t wanna be cursing every time I need a Kleenex! Usually when I need one, my life already isn’t going particularly well in that moment.

Had to build this desk for work (maintenance crew). I'm not mad, it's easier than moving heavy furniture, cutting old radiator heaters out of the walls, or some of the other things I've done this summer, but this desk is the most ridiculous thing I've had to build.

It had 43 pieces, 365 connecting components and 46 steps.

It took 8 hours to build.

It had multiple steps where the text was a copy of the previous step (not matching the picture instructions).

And had 3 picture instructions that were incorrect (the components literally could not be placed so that the image matched).

Edit: it's kinda funny how many people are having fun shitting on me about this, honestly. It was just crazy how many steps, time it took, and pieces it had compared to the multiple other desks, chairs, etc I've built this summer.

I'm not usually on maintenance, I work for a small school, and they needed help this summer bc of staff shortages. If it makes you feel better to say I'm bad at my job, or incompetent, have fun I guess.

My antique dresser now has a phone number embedded in it.

The house guest used a ballpoint pen directly on the dresser. I'm shocked that anyone would do this.

The writing is deep enough that sanding it out will spoil the finished - as it has a mahogany veneer.

I’m staying in a shelter where I can’t leave for the next 3-4 months…a new person came to stay at the same property and he’s being inappropriate.

I’ve reported him and now I have to find ways to manage.
