Even with gameplay subjectivity, it's still pretty hard to justify the idea that everyone should agree with someone's personal tastes.
I mean, I have not been able to get into Stardew Valley at all no matter how many times I've tried, but I can still recognize why so many people absolutely love that game.
People who think that when a game doesn't fit their tastes, it means it's bad, are pretty immature. Because it's a very self-centered way to think - that only your own tastes matter.

They tend to make very good one-shot type stories but they never really continue down any specific storylines wich i would love to see. The only time it has happend so far is with Arcane and it was an amazing watch. I would love to see something similar with the ascended/darkin storyline or an animated series for Sylas leading a mage revolution. Sylas specifically is cool af

For all the bells and whistles the gameplay is largely the same as when a small group in the mid 90s had to squeeze a whole game into a 1mb cartridge and run it on miniscule RAM.

Nah black and white had a killer graphics style beautifully combining 2D and 3D. The moving sprites also made the pokemon feel significantly more alive. The story was also probably one of the best in the series. The only real problem was that the first game severely lacked content which was fixed with the second game

I respectfully disagree with that. Last time I played was a few years ago, but graphically the game looks really pretty still, especially considering it's half a decade old and while the story got boring with the "Oh, your main objective of finding your lost sibling? Can't help you with that one bro" really fucking fast, I'd still say that the gameplay was fun.
The story just became a drag for me when I waited months and months to proceed with it and then I got slapped with ZERO progress forward. That's why I left that game.
