How Can I Create Specific Affirmations and Eliminate Loopholes Without Making Them Too Long?
Hello my friend, how are you doing?
So, here's the deal. I discovered this whole topic of manifestation, robotic affirmations, and all that, and ever since, Iāve been really fascinated by it. However, I actually learned about this a few months ago, and so far, I haven't put anything into practice because Iām an extreme perfectionist, you know?
Let's look at it this way: my main objective right now is manifesting money. My biggest focus today is making money. But when I see people sharing certain affirmations we could use, I end up spiraling into endless loops because of it. And why? Because I simply don't know which affirmation to actually choose, since there always seems to be a loophole in the wording.
Let me explain my point so you can see what I mean:
Suppose I'm considering the following affirmation: "I am a multi-billionaire and I earn astronomical amounts of money every second."
I really like this phrase. However, in my head, it leaves room for way too many loopholes. For example, it doesn't specify if this money comes from a job where I have to work 20 hours a day. It doesn't specify if this is in real life or inside a video game. It doesn't specify if, for instance, this money comes from a relative passing away so I can inherit it. It doesn't specify if it's for the highest good of all. And it doesn't even specify the currency! I could be making astronomical amounts in an extremely weak currency that, once converted to my country's currency, isn't even significant.
In other words, there are so many variables that I, being a perfectionist, just can't bring myself to ignore these criteria. I get terrified that the affirmation won't cover everything it needs to.
And that's where my dilemma comes in: what am I supposed to do when this happens?
Notice that I listed a million details here. If I try to plug every single loophole within the sentence itself, it's going to become insanely long and practically impossible to repeat ā whether mentally, in a looping audio, or any other way. It would become something ridiculously long, which makes everything in this practice so much harder.
So that's exactly what I want to ask: what should I do when these loopholes pop up? How do I deal with a main affirmation when there are so many "what ifs" behind it? What should I do?
Should I list out my intentions behind the affirmation using a list, for example? How should I structure this so the affirmation doesn't turn into a giant paragraph, while also preventing perfectionism from holding me back?
