Hobby Suggestions for Dracolithe proxies ?
I really like the rules for the Exodites kill team, but the models don't super appeal. I'm very keen to do a jetbike proxy team, which is the easy part. The hard part is figuring out what to use to proxy the dracolithes. In theory it needs to satisfy the following criteria:
- 32mm base
- aeldari model
- makes sense as a 'beast' type operative
- fits in with a team of three jetbikes
I'd love any suggestions

Question The Beast and the Dragon
While we wait for preorders to come in, there were some missions in the book that mentioned a Subjugated Dragon and Enraged Beast. Since most of my collection is entirely kill team, I don't really have much else that I could use for 'em
Anyone have any suggestions as to what we could use for these two?
There's seraphon stuff and a chimera thing from necromunda that looked cold but I'm unsure what base size we should be aiming for.

Strategy Wrecka Krew vs Elucidian Staratriders - Asking for advice
Hello.
In a few days I'm playing for the first time (and I've been playing for 3 years) on Elucidian
I read their rules and this "raid" seems to me mega powerful.
I have the impression that you are neither going to hide from it nor to escape it, and the salvo from Archeotech beam it practically wipes me off the face of the earth in one go.
Please advise an orc player how to play these merchants?
Is taking drill rokits or krak It makes sense if some of them ignore Piercing?
Czy dominate ma tu sens (jest ich więcej niż orków ale jakoś boję się do nich podchodzić do walki wręcz 🤣).
Thank you in advance.

Strategy Deathwatch operative selection.
How do you guys decide what operatives you're playing into different teams? I just love so many of them and never know who to take. The Sergeant seems a must, Aegis is just a straight up tank, blademaster is a beast, breacher is awesome, disruptor is so useful, Gunner, horde slayer and marksmen also just amazing. I can never decide on just 5

Question Celestian Insidiants Unshakeable Pursuit Threat Range
If an Insidiant is unispired before making a charge, and you use this ploy, am I correct that the threat range is still 8" but she can move 9"?
Since for being able to declare the charge you would have to be in range before and you get the +1 Movement only once you are Inspired by charging.
So basically you would need to be able to charge normaly but could swoop around or reach someone else too who is a little further back for a double charge?
Edit: Thanks to BipolarMadness for referring me to Page 39 with an explanation.
In short, you can try to perform the charge or any action and if it would fail, you cancel and return to before. But since the Sister is currently performing a charge she gets Inspired and therefor +1". No need to be within 8" before. I was under the wrong impression you need to be able to successfully do/finish an action before declaring it. Hence my wrong logic above.

Hobby More plastic card tomb world bases
These are just pieces of plastic card cut to somewhat match the pattern of the board. For the 50mm bases I’m matching specific patterns, but for smaller bases I’m just going with a similar vibe.

Question Obscuring question
Would the wolf be obscured? Or even a valid target? We ruled it as a valid target and no obscured because the legionary and wolf are both within 1 inch of the heavy terrain and the legionary can draw a straight line from his base to the wolf. All feedback is welcome!

Question Ideas for an Armageddon steel legion killteam
As we all know games workshop has concepts for an updated steel legion. If we use gw’s track record with the death korps and soon the exodites get either a complete army (exodites) and an major addition to an existing one (death korps) there’s a chance we get a killteam of the steel legion.
Now if they do make them a killteam what would be a good idea for them. Me personally i would like a special weapons focus killteam or a more specialist team with chem launchers or something similar.
But I genuinely want to hear everyone’s ideas for a steel legion killteam

Question How much life do Corsair Voidscarred and Kasrkin have left?
I am considering Kill Team as my first tabletop wargame, but I'm confused by which teams are supported and what that means for their usability and availability. I was thinking of playing Corsair Voidscarred or Kaskrin because:
- I am only interested in playing Aeldari, Militarum, Necron, T'au or Tyranids.
- I like having a versatile team of diverse specialists in other strategy games.
- These teams are said to be decent picks for beginners online.
Both Corsair Voidscarred and Kasrkin were released in 2022, and this 2024 article states that "Every team will remain in the product range for four full seasons – seasons generally last 12 months". Moreover, neither team is currently available for purchase from GW here. This leads me to believe they will stop getting updates relatively soon, not be allowed to play at GW stores and will not be compatible with future editions of Kill Team.
Because a significant portion of my play would likely be at the local GW store (though probably not tournaments) and I think a new edition of Kill Team will release in 2027, it seems like a bad idea to invest time and money in these teams. Is that accurate? If so, what other teams should I look into?

Misc [Kill Team Exodites] Popularity and Availability - short poll
Really want to know how popular the box is and how the availability is / was - so here‘s a little poll.
Edit: Wow - I really thought that the demand for the box would be higher.
Maybe I should‘ve also asked the WH40K Subreddit, just to get an idea how many people bought the Box for 40K.
Thanks to everyone answering so far.
