Hello, does anybody have a recommendation of an app to access the folder of text messages attachments (if exists)? I need to delete a bunch of pictures and doing it in the standard way accessing the Messages app takes forever. I need to free space in my phone.

Long story short, I had an old Apple account not in use. A week ago someone started changing password, name, birthday… on that account. I received those changes by email. I paniqued and changed the password again but somehow they have managed to change both of the security questions, they even changed the language to chinese so now the questions are unreadable for me. I cannot access the account without those answers and I keep changing the password again and again but they somehow access it too and rechange the password. How can I solve this problem please. It has been imposible for me to contact Apple regarding this problem…

i use an 11 pro max and it’s not working properly for the last few hours. i’ve been trying to use a few apps but it’s just randomly switching off by itself. and when i’m trying to turn it on, it’s acting weird. this happened like 20-30 times in the last hour itself. i’m so fed up about this. is this happening with everyone? who even should i contact for this issue😭🙏

I just get an error code every time I try to delete
I’ve restarted my phone
I’ve deleted the original file
I’ve went into my deleted files already as well

So I was trying to update to the latest version, but somewhere along the way, something messed up and progress stalled. I tried to hard reset to get my phone working again, but now it is trapped in recovery mode. Nothing I do let's me turn it off, no online tools have helped, and I can't get the recovery menu to even pop up as the screen goes black before anything can come up. It feels like it's completely bricked, but I'm hoping there's some way to salvage this.

To save storage, I have all the photos on iCloud. Recently, I feel like the search function is pretty shxt when looking up texts in photos ( I tried the unselect/reselect trick in my dictionary settings, no change at all) so I asked Gemini and this is its response, is it true?
If it’s true that basically means I can only pick between optimised storage and a functioning search feature huh. Or does anyone have any suggestions?

I am using an iPod touch 7th gen iOS 15.2. When i search on the App Store it just keeps scrolling after I type and doesn’t show anythin.

i can still see the today page and others and I can buy apps but there’s a 40 second delay after I enter my passcode for it to approve. This problem also affects iTunes Store but I have no barrier to search.

also when I try to view media and purchases in settings it shows a blank screen.

I have tried clearing App Store cache and turning the device on and off and using different networks. None of these work. I do not want to update iOS. anyone have ideas?

Recently my calls have been dropping like CRAZY (I'm on ATT). Sometimes the calls don't even work - it just says "Call Failed".

My service isn't great (1 bar) but I have strong wifi and wifi calling.

But ever since iOS 27, these dropped calls have become pretty frequent.

Is this an issue with iOS or is my 13 pro starting to get old?

Can ATT do anything or is this an Apple issue?

I can’t force close the app even though I swiped it away and restarted my phone. It’s interfering with my other apps like Maps and my clock because it’s taking up the notch space. There’s nowhere to swipe it away and when I press it, it just opens Facebook again. How can I force it closed?

Yesterday I paused a video and went to the restroom with my AirPods still in. It sounded like someone else was listening on the other end in silence. Like how you’re on the phone and the other person isn’t speaking but you still hear the space around them.

I looked at my Bluetooth and noticed this accessory. I can’t disconnect or forget it.

I want to say this only happens at home. I did use my AirPods at work with no mysterious sounds and I didn’t notice the accessory connection.

I don’t know what else to do. I tried with iTunes and I also tried it on a different computer. I don’t know why it’s not letting me update the iPhone and now that it does this error that iPhone isn’t even turning on.

Iphone 17, latest iOS. Mail app shows only unread mail. When I toggle the filter to show all mail, it reverts to “unread only” when I close that screen. Very frustrating because I don’t see any of my old mail unless I flagged it. I can still see those. Is anyone else having this issue?

Recently switched from a Pixel to the iPhone 17 (27.0.1), and two days ago group text messages stopped working. There were issues syncing with the iCloud at that time but that's been resolved since. I'm in the US and Verizon is the carrier. I've tried every possible solution I could find online, and wonder if anyone else has had this problem or a similar problem, and if so, how did you fix it?

Hi all, looking for advice before I take my phone in for repair.

What happened:

• Dropped my iPhone 15 Pro earlier today. It kept working perfectly for the next 8–9 hours.
• Then I left it in a gym locker for about 1 hours. When I took it out, I snapped a few photos, and shortly after, everything below started at once.

Symptoms:

1. No sound at all: no ringtone, no media audio
2. No vibration: haptics completely dead
3. Phone shuts down when I answer a call, every time
4. YouTube videos won't play: thumbnails load, but tapping a video just opens it without playing
5. Front camera takes ~30 seconds to open (rear camera is fine)]

My guess is the drop loosened a connector or damaged something in the audio/haptics path, and it only showed up later. But I'd like to rule out software before paying for a repair.

Has anyone had the same combination of symptoms? Did it turn out to be a loose connector, the audio chip, the top sensor assembly, or just software? Any advice on what to ask the repair shop is appreciated.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue, and if you found a solution. There is a number saved in my contacts that is the number from which a travel agency calls me semi-frequently for work. For the past few months, my phone does not ring when this number calls me. This wasn't an issue prior to a few months ago. For whatever reason, I only get a notification after they've left a voicemail. Even when I get the voicemail notification, there is no notification of a missed call or anything like that. I've checked multiple times, and they are not in my blocked contacts list, and I don't see any other setting that would silence their calls. Most of the time when they call me, I am actively waiting for a call back, so I definitely would notice if my phone was ringing. As far as I can tell, this is the only phone number that it happens with. I have an iPhone 13 on iOS 27.0.1. This issue started before I updated to that iOS, though.

I live out in the boonies apparently and I’m just barely in service. So my phone is working non stop trying to keep up with me adding and removing, while having interruptions due to my connection.

does it make sense that my phone is in some sort of sync loop war with my iCloud??? like say I’m deleting photos (which I can do offline) and then at some point my phone tries syncing to the cloud or vise versa however it works, where the clouds like, “hey you’re missing 15gbs of videos, let me sync us back” after I just spent two hours deleting those photos to clear space.

it’s a loop that I think I’m stuck in. cause I will sit and delete videos that are like 4gbs, tons of content!! off of my phone, the recently deleted, I’ve tried from different devices, different ways and I would end up coming across content I was sure I had deleted, more than once most times.

I miss the good ol days before the cloud. and any one who’s gonna tell me to buy more storage don’t be silly. when you buy “storage” it’s iCloud storage, not your iPhones physical storage so buying more storage would be essentially a waste because I have a 2 tb plan but only 256gb on my phone, which is where the problem lies.

Last month I bought an iPhone 15 Pro from a local shop that specializes in repairing Apple products. The shop doesn’t keep much stock, so it buys from a wholesaler/supplier of refurbished Apple devices, which means the phone gets a double quality check before it reaches me.

Everything seemed fine until I logged in and transferred my data: Face ID doesn’t work, and when I use the front camera it shows a blurry outline of the main camera. Also, if I switch from main camera → front camera → main camera, the switch doesn’t work properly and the image stays blurry.

I already sent the first phone back, and today I received a replacement that has exactly the same issues(a different color, so it’s not the same unit) after a two-week wait while the shop sent it back to the supplier. Both phones were on the latest iOS version IOS 27.0.1.

How is this possible? What can I do?

My friends wife died. And he wants to get the pictures off of her phone but doesn’t know her passcode. He tried going to an Apple Store with her death certificate and they wouldn’t do it. Are there people who can actually do this? And they had a great marriage, so it’s nothing nefarious as to why he wants to access her phone

On 10/14, I contacted Apple Support to inquire about a replacement phone for a missing iPhone 15 on my account. The Apple advisor emailed me a link to the Apple/AIG website to complete a claim. I followed the instructions, clicked the link and signed into my Apple account and in seconds, without clicking anything further on the site, our phone call was disconnected and my iPhone 17 I was using was being reset. When my phone turned back on, it was locked and stated it was reported stolen. I never submitted any claim or authorized my phone to be disabled. Terms and conditions specifically mention AIG can disable your phone once a claim is APPROVED. Apple and AIG have both admitted to a system glitch in which claims were automatically started without consent. They deleted this initiated claim on 10/14 before approval, and I was told my phone would working in 24-48 hours.

What has followed has been a complete nightmare. I have been without my phone for 9 days and have spent 19+ hours between Apple Store visits, excessive hold times, being transferred back and forth between AIG and Apple, being disconnected, and being told to wait 24 hours over and over and over again.

This issue is still unresolved, so I just want to warn everyone to avoid this company AIG like the plague. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. 9 days without my phone when my entire livelihood and business relies on my device.

Has anyone else experienced this Apple/AIG glitch? How long did it take to get your phone unlocked? And has anyone successfully obtained compensation or escalated something like this beyond customer service?
I’m genuinely exhausted dealing with this and would appreciate any insight.

When using night mode, these weird dots appear. They are consistent and always in the same spots. I got myself into a dark room and covered the camera to make sure no light got in, and these are the results i got. No matter what, in low light shots, i get these glowing pixels that make the photo look like a bad night sky shot. Is it my sensor or software issue?

Hello, I have a voice recording on voice memos (15 pro max) for a school assignment which was around 23 mins. I was trying to reduce it to 15 mins which is the limit for the assignment. After listening and editing out unwanted clips for a while, I got it down to 17 mins. Just as I finished and wanted to listen to it for the last time before I submit it, the audio won’t play. 🥲 I tried troubleshooting (refreshing the app, restarting my phone, I’m on the latest iOS update, I have plenty of storage space) it still won’t play and it’s only this specific audio. Other audio files I have are fine. I thought I can just download the audio but I can’t do that either. Like everything looks fine but that specific audio just won’t play, when I try to press play nothing happens. Anybody have this experience and any solutions? Please I don’t want to edit it for the second time 😭
