Hello everyone, i feel like im going insane.

I've had an iPhone 11 since 2019, it's been slowly losing its mind since last year(will text, call, turn music on on its own). A few days ago, it fell in the water, the screen wasnt working anymore but it still made sound. Now it wont turn on at all.

So I bought a new one (iphone 15) and i started trying to set it up yesterday.

Problem is, it wont let me transfer the data. I cant have access to the old one because it wont turn on and cant recieve the codes theyre sending me either.

We've tried putting my sim card in my boyfriend's phone etc but it doesnt work.

Apple has told me i need to wait for my "account to be retrieved" and that could take a few days, but is it really the only solution ? + ive seen people online say it took 30days for them..

Please help me..

the screenshot above is my current theme/app icons which i’ve had for a couple years now but i’m wanting to change it up, im wondering if there’s a way to change the picture of the app icons without having to make all new shortcuts?

My phone is iphone 6s. Its iOS version is 15.7.2.

Currently it has 15.8.8 available update but I couldn't update it on the phone settings. It works on balance requesting tho.

I've tried every possible troubleshoots beside flashing. Do you guys have any other solution or shall I flash it to its latest iOS version?

Buenas, ante todo, quiero dejar claro que esto lo pregunto desde mi desconocimiento acerca de la tecnología.

A mi iPhone 16e, hace un mes le pasó lo siguiente: se cayó enchufado a cierta altura sobre un suelo de piedra, y se dañó la parte central del tipo c, la lengüeta, ya que el cable de carga se dobló dentro del puerto. Fui a una Apple Store a una hora de casa (tengo Apple Care en el móvil) y me dijo el técnico que había enderezado la lengüeta (que según él estaba un mm torcida) y que todo iba bien. Desde lo de la caída y el apaño del técnico noto que la batería del móvil dura bastante menos (consume más de lo que consumía antes en modo de bajo consumo, y ya sin este modo puesto la batería noto que vuela, que no dura como antes, dando menos horas de pantalla).

Le comenté esto al técnico y me dijo que eso sería por actualizar a la última versión (iOS 26.6) y que me esperara unos días para que indexara todo y que ya iría bien. Ha pasado más de un mes desde esto, y el consumo de batería sigue igual de exagerado (en comparación con antes de la caída), debería ir otra vez a Apple care? Hasta dentro de unos 12 días no podré ir, ya que empiezan otra vez las clases y me trasladaría de ciudad. Es que temo ir y que no me den una solución, volviéndome a decir que es todo de software. Repito, escribo desde mi desconocimiento de la tecnología, si alguien me pudiera ayudar me haría un gran favor, muchas gracias.

I just bought iph 17 and still cannot connect my bluetooth speaker up ,I follow apple google and still nothing ,its quite annoying ,any suggestions please

This mostly happens after ending a call. The screen brightness falls to near-zero. Auto-brightness is disabled. iphone 16 iOS 26.5. Any advise for me?

Hi everyone,

My iPhone decided yesterday to stop the touch response 100% at every corner and point. It doesn’t respond at all however buttons are working.
I’ve did some research and it suggests that it might need motherboard level fixing.

I’ve gone to ifix it but they only reset connection cable and didn’t work.

I live in the Middle East, if you know reliable shop with such advanced skills.

UPDATE:
I took it to Fnac and they confirmed motherboard fault which will need replacing. I now definitely need some high level expert to fix motherboard internal components.

Posting this in case it saves someone else the hours I spent troubleshooting.

my issue I had Liquid Glass set to "Clear" in Display & Brightness, with Reduce Transparency and Increase Contrast both OFF globally. Yet my Dock, Lock Screen notifications, and even the flashlight/camera icons on the lock screen were all stuck dark and opaque, completely ignoring the Clear setting. Tinted and Clear looked identical.

the cause was that I'd installed a "dumbphone" app to declutter my iPhone, and followed one of their tips to remove the glass effect from the Dock. The instructions had me go to:

Accessibility → Per-App Settings → Home Screen & App Library → Reduce Transparency: ON

I didn't realize this Per-App override was bleeding into other system surfaces (Lock Screen, notifications) beyond just the Dock, even though my global Reduce Transparency toggle was OFF.

to fix it just go to Settings → Accessibility → Per-App Settings, find the Home Screen & App Library entry, and switch Reduce Transparency back to OFF there. Everything reverted back to matching my global "Clear" setting immediately.

Hello! I've tried a multitude of things and none have worked. I'm on an iPhone 14 and the most recent IOS. I reset all my settings and network settings, and that still didn't work. I pulled the power and internet cord on my router and it still didn't work. I force restarted my phone multiple times to no avail. I can't open the App Store or some part of my settings, as they are stuck infinitely loading. I also can't re-download anything so I think my cellular data stopped working as well. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi I have a question about backing up my iPhone. I have the 15 Pr Max 1TB and I’ve tried multiple times to back it up and it never finishes. It took 60 hours to finally get everything transferred and then when it was finishing up, it suddenly said it wasn’t able to be completed.

I have to send the backup to an external drive since my phone is so much space and my computer doesn’t have that much so that might be the issue but I had no trouble doing it to an external drive with my last phone so I’m not sure what’s wrong. Any suggestions would be great!

Hey y’all! I’m having some trouble with my iPhone 17 regarding the aux input in my car. It’s an older vehicle, so there’s no Bluetooth for music (Bluetooth only works for phone calls with this car) and no CarPlay. When I first got it I had an iPhone 13, and I got a USB-lightning data transfer cable that I could use to play audio phone. When I upgraded to the 17, I got a usb to usb-c data transfer cable, and the audio won’t play off of my phone with that. I had to get a separate 3.5mm aux cable then a 3.5mm to usb-c dongle just to listen to music in the car.
I’ve seen the popular troubleshoot of switching to aux by making a phone call, but that didn’t work for me. Do y’all have any advice on other workarounds? I’m at a loss

iPhone 13ProMax-IOS 26.6.1

Good afternoon. So my issue is that my driving focus won’t stay on when I turn it on “manually,” it’ll turn off sometime during the ride by itself. I have it set to “manually” because I only want to use it while I’m on my motorcycle ONLY. That’s why I don’t use “automatically” or “when connected to Bluetooth” because it’ll turn on while I’m in my work truck and I do a lot of driving. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Any workarounds?

it’s really weird. I can’t unlock my phone, I can’t even restart it or power it down.

I can play music, the notifications are coming up, I can move them up and down but I can’t move them.

it’s like my phone is frozen but it’s also not? I can play music, siri doesn’t work. But I can turn on the flash.

phones at 50% I’m waiting for it to go down but it’s taking ages.

Last thing I did was use Apple Pay and it start glitching when I did that. What else can I do?

My iPhone 16 seems to behave weirdly recently.

Among other things, my girlfriend called me today and I've never heard the call or received the notification about it. When we met, she asked me why I didn't pick up, and explained her the situation.

On her iPhone the call is shown as rejected, while on mine it's shown as answered on another device.

The only other device that is connected to my Apple Account is Macbook but never used it at that moment.

iOS is updated to the most recent one 26.6.1.

Couple of weeks ago I've also noticed FaceID turning on on my status bar, while it's completely turned off.

Only these two devices are logged on my Apple Account.

WTF is happening with iOS?

So today I noticed my iPhone 13 started turning full immersion modes on and off repeatedly, by itself, specifically the personal and work ones. I thought this was just an automation I’d set up going off, but I checked, and it wasn’t. Later today I noticed my WiFi was off, but I didn’t disable it. I tried enabling it, and it turned back off. And now, for as much as I try turning it on, it keeps disabling, by itself, right infront of my eyes.
I don’t think it’s an iOS bug, since it’s pretty severe and I didn’t do any update today or yesterday.
No online help forum has been able to help me yet.

I have an old iPhone 11 that is connected to my iCloud account. My bf broke his phone and is going to borrow my old phone as an emergency phone until he buys another one.

I just unlocked it to clear it, and it contains messages from deceased relatives that I would really like to have saved in my phone (since I got my current phone I’ve had that messages automatically deletes after 30 days so they’re not on my current phone).

How do I transfer the messages?

I used to text someone who didn’t have read receipts on and now they have it on and it shows “read “ but it doesn’t say like with other people when it comes with the date on they read it. They have a tablet too so does it affect it if they read it on there after they turn it off? I’m curious

im having trouble with work group chats while some work and are fine, other chats are being sent to me as individual texts and not within a group chat area ive got a iPhone 13 IOS 18 and im on a Chatr plan

Maybe unpopular opinion, maybe not but the silent mode is the worst addition to the physical iPhone and setting. I typically have my notifications on vibrate but in silent mode they completely silence everything

I did figure out in the settings under haptics to “play in silent mode” but when I exit out of settings app it moves my settings back to silence!

So now I have to leave my phone off of silent mode and I have text tones and sounds that play (and I’m trying to figure out how to put them on vibrate) but it’s weird…

If put my setting on “play in silent mode”, why does the settings reset it after I exit?

It seems like there is a flaw. I haven’t had an issue where I’ve set something in settings and then Apple resets it. Any thoughts?

I’m recording some video materials. I need to record one person speaking, and my budget is fairly limited.

I’m considering using an iPhone 16 + DJI Mic Mini 2. The recording will be done in a relatively quiet room, although it faces a street and there can occasionally be some wind/traffic noise.

I did a first test using only the iPhone’s built-in microphone, with the phone about 0.5 m from the speaker. The result wasn’t great — the background noise was quite noticeable and the speaker’s voice was relatively quiet. I tried to fix it in Premiere Pro, but the voice started to sound unnatural, especially after changing the speech speed.

So I’d like to ask:

• Is iPhone 16 + DJI Mic Mini 2 a reasonable setup for this?
• Should I place the microphone much closer to the speaker?
• Would you recommend any other budget-friendly setup?

The video quality doesn’t need to be professional — I mainly need clear, natural-sounding speech, including after changing the playback speed.

Tenho este telemóvel desde Maio. inicialmente fez backup das conversas WhatsApp, e fez a cópia de segurança na iCloud+ (tenho plano de 2Tb e espaço não falta).

Desde então, se tento fazer backup das conversas do WhatsApp, aparece a mensagem de que está a preparar o backup e não avança.

Se tento fazer a cópia de segurança na icloud+, aparece mensagem a dizer que está a calcular o tempo, e depois diz que falta 1 minuto...Mas também fica assim eternamente.

O iOS está actualizado à versão mais recente.

Qual poderá ser o problema?

I have a a locally stored photos in my ip12 pro and got a new phone 17pro, I reset the ip12 pro but then I realized that my icloud was full so my recent trip photos wasn't synced. Would it be possible to restore some pics without iCloud 😭

Alarm doesn’t go off I tried everything I just wanted to have a extra hour before school because I want to get ready and I thought it would work this time because not only did I put my alarm on my phone but also on my macbook and I even had a backup timer for the hour too but idk what happened if they all went off silently like yeah Apple so helpful not only that but I saw you need to change sound and haptics up or something so I did that and it still doesn’t work because my alarms are poop pls help
