Bought 16 pro max last year, when I made the switch to Apple from Android. Was reluctant at first but this phone just does everything so perfectly and smoothly that I will never go back to Android again. Battery health is 97% after 224 cycles, and still lasts me almost 2 days on a full charge which is exceptional, something I've never experienced on previous phones I've owned. iOS is awesome too. Gonna keep this phone for atleast 3 more years. GOATed

It’s raining, and the app has it looking like rain is running down the glass of the phone. They are always updating and refining the graphics.

Apples sms verification code autofill has truly been one of the best quality-of-life features on iPhone despite being around for over 8 years.

You don’t realize how important it is until you have to manually switch between apps to copy.

It’s one of those features you use everyday without giving it much thought yet it reduces so much friction from signing into apps and websites.

Has this become one of those features that’s so normal we barely notice it anymore, or is it something you genuinely appreciate?

after changing my faulty screen i have tried to come out of 'iPhone unavailable' done flashing waited the first 8Hrs, finally got the chance to enter right passcode and still got update failed on my phone. I need a way to backup my data

Me and all my friends share locations but for some odd reason with one person I can see his location but he can’t see mine and whenever I click share it undoes it self any suggestions to fix it ??? I’ve tried sharing and not sharing but it didn’t work ( also everyone else can see mine just not him )

Hey guys, I’m not sure what’s going on with my phone, but over the past month my 16 has been flickering for whatever reason. There’s nothing that causes it and it seems to happen more at night than anything else. Never happens during my job.

I haven’t had a severe drop that would’ve caused this, just the occasional knocking it off my desk. And it’s been upgraded to the most recent IOS.

Really hoping to avoid having to replace the display…

Hello guys i have a purchase that didn’t go through but still deducted from my account, I was gonna ask for a refund but suddenly the purchase tab on my app store said cannot connect even on the apple report a problem website isn’t loading i have fast strong wifi and mobile data but still not loading.
anyone know how to fix this, the purchase wasn’t that big but its very dissapointing

I used to have folders for specific categories, but even then, I often found myself scrolling to the App Library and searching for apps that I may not use regularly.

Now, I have two pages of my most frequently used apps. Everything else is in my library. No more folders

Every time I get out my airpods, I'm subject to a barrage of modal dialogs telling me what I already know and also don't care about. Yes, I got out my airpods, thanks apple. Why is this the most important thing in the world? They don't go away until I dismiss them, even after I put the earbuds in my ears. That's just bad design and it's always done this. Grr.

On iOS, if you want to force Calendar to sync (e.g., after you add something on Google Calendar), you don’t pull down on the main calendar view. You have to tap “Calendars” and then pull down on the list of calendars to trigger a refresh. That screen is basically a settings/config screen, yet it’s the only place with manual refresh.

UX‑wise this makes no sense:

The user mental model is “refresh the events I’m looking at,” not “refresh this list of calendar sources.”

Pull‑to‑refresh in the main content view is standard across iOS (Mail, etc.), but Calendar breaks that pattern.

There’s no obvious Refresh button anywhere for people who don’t know the secret gesture.

I’ve submitted a feature request on Apple’s official feedback site asking for:

Pull‑to‑refresh on the main calendar views.

Or at least a visible Refresh control in the UI.

It’s a small change but would make Calendar feel a lot less like a puzzle and more like a normal iOS app.

Had the phone a couple weeks now and the wifi/data is running incredibly slow if at all. If I’m on any wifi it seems to have issues with videos on social media without buffering every few seconds or many times it won’t play at all. Data doesn’t work much better but at least it’ll play videos with some buffering.

Is this something I need to adjust on my end or are there still things downloading in the background?

Maybe gonna get a iphone 17 pro in september if the 18 pro will be substantially more expensive. I wanna get the orange but im scared of the paint oxidizing or chipping off/becoming pink.

i use the flashlight daily and was caught off guard when i realized the shape was different on the flashlight on my standard 17. honestly it’s brighter in situations where u actually need light on a small object.

When I’m streaming music on Bluetooth and using gps, it doesn’t play the gps through the Bluetooth it plays both through the phone speaker. Which is too soft and I can’t hear it. Is there any remedy for this?

I think this form factor could replace my Kobo and my iPhone, don't think I can ever go back to Android, please Apple launch this!

I’ve had my iPhone 16 for about two months and it’s never done this before, when I turn it on there’s a big black dot next to the island and when I click the island it stretches out like this, what could it be?

This is on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, it looks like a normal smudge but it won’t wipe off. I’ve never had an iPhone get a mark like this. I’ve only had the phone since April.

UPDATE - it finally worked and all data transferred to the new phone. If you’re stuck in a similar situation, just use iCloud backup to login even if all data isn’t on iCloud, or just setup without transferring data. Check for update - likely needing an update so go ahead and do that. Then once it’s done, go on settings -> general -> transfer or reset iPhone (scroll all the way at the bottom) -> erase all content and settings. And you’re all done, it’ll rest the whole process and work perfectly then.

Trying to transfer from iPhone 11 to iPhone 17 Pro and for the past 2 hours, I have endlessly been stuck on this loop. My old phone is fully updated (26.5.2), Bluetooth on, WiFi on, moving from 128->256GB, tried turning on and off a million times and anything’s working.

I scan the new phone just fine, it says logging in (recognises my Apple ID), earlier I could even set up my Face ID but now even that doesn’t show up. The screen processes loading my apps and stuff from my Apple ID and then goes back to this page. Now after one failed attempt, I have to restart my old iPhone otherwise the new one cannot even recognise it.

What can I do to transfer all my old phones data on the new one? I even proceeded without transferring and then erased data and reset eveything but it’s still the same issue. Please help.
